Golf enthusiast, beginner wine collector, foodie, love being active and the outdoors. Have lived in London for two years, fairly travelled and moving to Melbourne from Adelaide for work. After a place close to the CBD with hopefully a car parking spot. Have furniture and bicycle. Focussing on my professional side of life atm but looking forward to exploring more of Melbourne. Can’t wait to be in the heart of footy life and enjoy all things food and sport. Love pets and animals - I just don’t have one. Have my own investment property so I have first hand experience in being responsible for all things house related and would treat the house with the utmost respect and care.
I enjoy travelling, have an interest in reading, fitness and I love to cook! Having just finished a six month solo trip across the globe while staying in more than a dozen backpacker hostels, I've learnt to strike the balance between being sociable and respecting others' desire for space and privacy. I'm tidy and always clean up after myself. I love trying new activities and making new friends. I'm starting a law degree in Melbourne in 2019 and for that reason, I'm looking for a place close to the CBD.
The room is fully furnished with a lovely view and a built in closet. The building itself has a gym, a sauna and a sky garden. If you have a car, there is a parking space available upon request. The building is located right in front of the Flemington Community Centre 59 tram stop and is less than 10 minutes walk from Flemington Bridge station. Less than 20 minute tram into the city and less than 10 minute train to Brunswick. Plenty of cafes and restaurants located on Racecourse Road and up towards Moonee Ponds along Mt Alexander Rd. Looking for a woman who is friendly, tidy, also working or studying, progressive and a chill person all round. If this period goes well there may be an opportunity to renew the lease for 6 months next year.
This light, bright apartment with wonderful extended views is perfectly positioned close to the CBD (3 km). The No. 59 tram "Super stop"is directly outside of the building with the Flemington Bridge train station located only two minute walk away. There are two bedrooms with mirrored built in robes, separated by a modern bathroom. The kitchen and living areas take advantage of the views. Featuring central heating/ cooling, secure parking, gym, sauna and a Sky Garden with BBQ facilities and a lovely space to relax and enjoy with spectacular views. The ALT Tower complex is conveniently located to the Royal Children's and Royal Womens' Hospitals, Peter McCallum Cancer Institute and Melbourne University precinct and a short tram trip to Melbourne CBD and Docklands. Nearby there are cafes, restaurants, sporting facilities, bike tracks and parks.
Hi, I’m Jenny! 22 year old currently studying Design at RMIT, originally from Sydney. Currently living alone (can provide references from my agent) but I prefer the social atmosphere that a sharehouse provides. I would describe myself as friendly, considerate and definitely not a party animal. I am responsible when it comes to both paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. Quite independent but looking for housemates that can become potential friends, who I can occasionally share meals/drinks/banter with, and watch movies/shows together. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, working on side projects, reading and exploring Melbourne. Hit me up if you think you/your place would be a good match! :)
I'm neat and tidy and looking for a place to live closer to work. I work full time and I'm very respectful and responsible.
Hi there! We've just landed in Aus, after spending two months trekking the Himalayas, and are looking to move into somewhere asap, preferably in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. We're a couple from England in our mid-20s. We're easygoing, clean and playful people. We came here with the idea of integrating into the creative hub that appears to be North Melbourne whilst pursing our passions. We are quite flexible in what we're looking for in terms of housing - happy to treat the house as a base to wind-down, or as more of a social hub. We have had an amazing run of flatshares over the last few years and would love this to continue. To be honest we care more about making a 'home' then about rent prices, and space of rooms! A bit about us. We aim to find work in our fields while we are here. Saul is passionate about wildlife, and all things sustainable. Currently, he is thinking of moving his focus from forests to farms. Elena has been nerding away at some research work over the last few months, and would love to get involved with some on-the-ground work in the non-for-profit sector, maybe with a women's collective or something community based. Saul is a very keen cook, he spent the last year volunteering in a soup kitchen/cafe, serving up 3 course meals from supermarket throw outs. The bin is a tough choice in our lives! We both held an allotment this last year where we tried our hand at growing some veg - we definitely spent more time digging then eating our produce... but would love to get the green fingers wiggling again! Elena's into yoga, but plans to try her hands in some pottery or perhaps carpentry whilst out here. We have a lot of energy to give, and would love to be in an environment where that could flourish. Some may be put off from the couple aspect, but we've been together for an age now, and are over all that lovebird nonsense. We also have spent two years apart (in Amsterdam and Montreal) so are pretty good at leading independent lives! And of course, a couple would lower everyone's rent nicely whilst not being as overcrowding as two friends! We are on working holiday visas and looking to stay in melbourne roughly 4-6 months but may extend if we find the dream jobs. Let us know if you think we'd merge in well, and then we can talk more about details. We're currently staying in the Brunswick area and would be free all this week for viewings and meet-ups! Thanks so much for considering. Elena and Saul
It's close to hospitals (Royal Melbourne Hospital, Women’s Hospital, Royal Children's Hospital & Peter MacCallum Hospital). Also close to University of Melbourne. Queen Victoria Market is just 15 minutes away by tram. IGA is just steps away & Tram 59 is just in front of the apartment. I am looking for a female flat mate who is neat & tidy & pays rent on time. You will be occupying the master bedroom with a nice view & a big Built-in Wardrobe.
Hi This is Ye. I've been in Melbourne for almost 10 months. Now I am a student studying Master's degree in the University of Melbourne. I am open to meet many friends, exchange culture and idea but also respect flatmates' privacy. During study period I will be very busy. I like travelling, volleyball, music, yoga and cycling, etc. I can speak English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese fluently. Hope I can meet you one day! :) Cheers, Ye
I'm clean and tidy (house trained), respectful, social, responsible and vegetarian (I don't judge if you eat meat). I try to be as healthy as possible but I'm flexible (aka inconsistent). I work full-time as a HR Office at a hospital. I'm not overly loud, but I do like to keep busy and hang out with friends quite a bit. I'm wanting to team up with one other girl (maybe two at a stretch), for our own place in Travancore/Parkville, Brunswick or Moonee Ponds/Ascot Vale. DM me on instagram if you can't reach me here: @maddygbanks
Cozy room with BIR and a full height window in a 2 bedroom modern apartment located on the top floor of the building. The apartment has a large balcony which gives a great view of Travancore suburb just beside to North Melbourne (VIC 3051) suburb. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with AC, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bathtub. IGA and a coffee shop are right on the ground floor and the tram stop and train is just across the building. The building is just beside to Anytime Fitness and has a communal area with BBQ on the second floor. Also, all bills are included in the rent except electricity.
Moved to Melbourne years ago from Brisbane, pretty chilled & often up for a chat. Love the leafy suburb where I live and have for a year, and my housemates! But the lease is ending, housemates moving overseas so I'm moving too. Work full time, like to keep fit, Always pay bills & rent on time. Even know how to clean up, change a toilet roll and take a bin out :)
Hi! I'm Prashant, 23 from Nepal and I'll be moving to Melbourne in February 2019 to study a master's degree at the University of Melbourne for 2.5 years. I'm looking for long-term accommodation during my studies, preferably furnished and with the stable Internet. I'm an engineer by profession. I enjoy athletic sports, trekking, and football. Love to read books, and watch movies in the leisure time. I'm pretty easygoing and tidy, will be keen for a chat but will also give you space when you need it. Looking forward to moving to Melbourne and would love someone to show me around if possible.
Hello guys. My husband and I are looking for a room with a private bathroom or a studio apartment. Preferably in the following suburbs: North Melbourne, West Melbourne, Flemington, Brunswik, Carlton, Moone Ponds. We are students and we work part time, we look for a place to rest and be calm. We are quiet, organized, clean and very friendly people. If you have something that suits us please contact me for a text message. Thank you regards
Hello beautiful people of Melbourne! I'm Michelle, a 27-year old postgraduate student from the Philippines. I'm moving to your city in February 2019 to study at the University of Melbourne for 2 years. I'm a Copywriter by profession. Looking for long-term accommodation during my studies, preferably furnished and with stable Internet. I don't have a car so parking space is not required. I'm also okay with sharing common spaces, such as the bathroom, living room, and kitchen. I pay rent on time, and I'm really neat (okay, maybe borderline OCD is the word haha!). I have experience in co-living, as I lived with 3 lovely girls from Brasil, Tunisia and China before. I'm the type of person who really gets to know my flatmates on a social level, and not just in a "Oh-s/he's-just-someone-I-Iive-with" kind of way, but actually hang out, whilst still respecting your personal space. I enjoy art, pizza, music/music festivals/concerts, films, coffee, nature, online shopping, TV series, traveling, dogs, milk tea, the beach, and going out with family and friends. When I'm not into my hobbies, I usually just chill in my room, binge watch on Netflix (but we can watch together too!), or study/work. Don't worry, I'm normally a quiet roomie, but maybe you'll hear me sing in the shower ;-P Looking forward to finding my awesome space!
The unit is 2bed 1bath, the room is spacious, comes with BIR and large window. It will be furnished or up to your preference. I’m providing a well-equiped kitchen and everything you need at home. The flat is located only 3.9KM north of Melbourne CBD. Only minutes away from vibrant entertainment, shops and fine restaurants. Melbourne University and RMIT are withinh walking distance. Access to the city via public transport and the prominent Melbourne bike trails. The tram stop and train station is located right at your front door and bike paths are accessible from the rear of the complex. Residents have the delight to enjoy the Travancore Piazza and Sky Garden located on level 8 which offers outstanding city views, BBQ facilities or simply a quiet place to relax.
We are a very friendly and easy going couple who is looking a room. We are always happy to share good stories and moments together. We also enjoy cooking for people and always appreciate to spend some time watching a movie! We both work in the city in the IT and sales department.
Hello beautiful people of Melbourne!! My name is Drizzle and I’m looking for a cute spot I can call home for the next year or two. I’m a Graphic Design student and I dabble in some freelance work every now and then and work most days of the week at L'occitane! ( um free samples+discounts?!?! ) I can be pretty chatty at times, but also know to respect one's need for quiet time plus I'm home trained to perfection and extremely well kept so you know our home’s going to be spotless!! I’m looking into areas like Carlton, Fitzroy, Preston, Travancore or anywhere that’s not too far off from the city. Really hoping to snag a cute place to call home before Christmas!!! Definitely down for some team-ups if anyone’s interested in the above areas too x 420 friendly
Hi! I'm Josefina 32 years old. Just came back from overseas so i'm looking for a place to live. Important things about myself living in a share house are... I am relax, positive, empathic, financial responsable, clean, respectful, and trustworthy. I like to go for run, walk, go to the beach, I love dancing! I like eat healthy food and take care of myself and my body, have fun so sometimes I am happy to share a drink as well. I am fascinated by the opportunity to unlearn, experiencing new things and learning from the diversity. I don't mind how "cool" I am. What matters to me is live with someone honest in a reciprocal relationship, with open communication. Happy to hear from you!
