Hi, I'm Marcel! Brazilian, Master's student based in the Netherlands and now in Melbourne for a 6-month research internship. This means that I would like to find a place to move in asap, where I could stay until May. I consider myself organized, easy going and very open-minded (hard to avoid clichés here, right?). I love cooking, hiking, and getting to know new people, languages and cultures. My weeks are going to be very busy, but I would love to spend some time with my future roommates during weekends. Feel free to contact me if you have a room to offer so we can arrange an inspection :)
Hi, I'm Sharlyn and I'll be starting school at the University of Melbourne. Currently, I'm doing an internship at a local PR company and traveling a little. I'm from Singapore, and am fluent in English (and Chinese/Mandarin, a teeny bit). I'd consider myself clean and tidy-ish, but not overly so. I'm an introvert, but pretty friendly and definitely open to making friends. :) Ideally, I'd prefer to have my own room in a sharehouse, and to stay with girls. I have two dogs at home (a husky named Neko and a frenchie named Oki!) so animals are fine.
Hi Everyone, My name is Niketa (Nikki) and I will be arriving in Melbourne on January 2, 2017. I am looking for a place before I arrive. I will be attending Melbourne Law School in February 2017. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Criminology and I am now pursuing my law degree. I want to find a place that is about a 20 minute commute to my school. I am a mature, energetic, independent young woman who has a vast array of dreams and ambitions to accomplish. I have a great sense of humor and I would say that I am a very social person, but I also like my alone time especially when it comes to studying for school. I'm a huge foodie. Toronto has every cultural restaurant you can think of and I love going out to restaurants to try different foods as well as cooking at home. My specialty though is baking cheesecake with a twist. I also love to read, dance and listen to music on my down time. I love the outdoors. I enjoy roller blading and going for walks/hikes.
Hi there, my name is Melvin and I've recently moved here from Perth in search of a better work opportunity. That, and probably a bit of study down the track. Presently working as a warehouse assistant and rostered on only week days so my weekends are open. Recently joined the thirties club, friendly and easy going chap with a dry sense of humour who looks and cleans after himself. Always good for a chat every now and then and happy to share a drink or two but also respect people's need for privacy as I like some quiet time myself. Listening to music is something I happen to enjoy a lot. I go to the gym occasionally but playing soccer is my passion. I commit to playing it x3 a week if I can manage but feel I'm getting really bad at the sport!
Hi! I'm Maylee from the Philippines. I have been working in a fashion retail company for more than two years back home and now have decided to pursue my masters here at RMIT. I am easy to live with as I am organize and clean with my things. If I will not be busy for school, I can be a fun food, party, sports, and travel buddy. Hit me up!

Hey there! My name is Jess! I am wanting to relocate to Melbourne for a new job that I am starting in late March 2017 and looking at moving a week or two before hand around the 10th of March. Just putting the feelers out there to see what's available. I will be working full time shift work as a Nurse and so I am interested in living with others who are of a similar age (mid twenties or older) who are respectful of each other's space and privacy and appreciate a more down to earth and chill living environment (no party houses please). Ideally, I am looking to live near by to work in Parkville/neighboring suburbs, or on a tram line to help me get to work. I am an easy going person who has experience living in a share house before. Not a neat freak, but appreciate keeping things tidy, and I am respectful of other people's privacy and space. However, I also enjoy living with others who enjoy sharing a meal/coffee/glass of wine and a flick together. As I'm relocating to Melbourne, I don't know many people as of yet; and so a friendly housemate/s who is happy to be social together every now and then would be grand. Please feel free to message if interested! Can provide references if required.
I am clean and tidy. Helpful around the house and a general pleasure to live with :) Looking for fully furnished room with a desk ideally, around $200 - 250, inclusive of bills and internet.
The house is on a lovely tree-lined street that's within earshot of the 59 tram that goes straight into Melbourne CBD and Flinders St Station. There's Flemington Bridge Railway Station that is just 6 min walk away so public transport is fantastic. It's an older, but very tidy, well presented, 3-bedroom house with high ceilings and ornate ceilings. I'm living with my 2 smaller dogs, Angus and Ella who generally hang around outside in the large leafy green backyard which also makes for a good place to have a drink and Webber. I have previously shared the house with a couple that stayed in the large, front room which has a big windows and great views of the trees outside. The other room that I use is at the other end of the house. Having rooms at either end of the house offers great privacy. The house is fully furnished, incl. the available room, but if it suits, the bed and desk in the room could removed and the room offered completely unfurnished. There's a nice sofa, TV and sound-system in the cosy lounge. There's also a spare-room with a desk and spare bed in it. It has an air-conn but I've needed to use it as the house tends to stays nice and cool during the summer. During the winter there is a excellent gas heater when it gets a bit cold.
I am great to live with because... I will only be home after 5pm on weekdays and working on weekends and I enjoy keeping my space lovely and doing my part to keep the home functioning. My friends describe me as very mature for my age, kind, considerate and very easy to get along with. Looking to live in a calm home with some beautiful people.

Hi everyone, I'm Amy :) My current lease has come to an end so I am looking for a new place to stay. I moved to Melbourne from Perth at the beginning of this year for my post-grad studies. I'm very easy going and like social activities every now and then but also love my quiet time. Importantly, I'll always do my part to keep the place clean and tidy!
Hey, I'm Tom. I'm 23 and studying law at Melbourne. I'm a movie fan, I visit the gym a few times a week, and like watching sports. Have lived in share houses for the last 2-3 years. My old housemates were great, but they've both got new places now, so I'm looking for some new ones!
Hi My name is Rebecca and I am looking for a home to move to ASAP. Ideally I would like a large room with BIR/wardrobes that can fit more than my queen bed :D. I was living with my best friend who moved overseas and have my own furniture so an unfurnished room would be ideal. I don't smoke and only drink occasionally at social events. I’m quiet but up for a chat or occassional movie. I'm clean and have lived in share houses both in Oz and overseas so am aware of the living standards in sharing/respecting spaces. I enjoy cooking and exploring events around Melbourne (Theatre buff :D). I'm looking for somewhere to call home and housemates to hopefully call friends :D Thanks heaps Rebecca (Reb)

My name is Matty and I work as both a professional drummer and as a scientist. I am looking to move into an existing share house, or to start a new one with a garage for my music gear and practice. Being a professional drummer that is chasing a goal of being largely successful I am in need a garage (ideally unattached from the house) to accommodate my practice. I Only practice until approximately 9pm of an evening (I get home from work at 6) and I don't ever start before midday on the weekends, keeping in mind too that I regularly have rehearsals and gigs and things so it doesn't happen at full volume every day but as regularly as I can fit it in which ends up being about 3 times per week - so not really much at all. Personality wise I am, friendly, approachable, confident, logical, dedicated and love meeting new people and being social (when I have time for it). I have lived in several share houses over the last 8 years and have no problem adapting to new environments and personalities. I love a good chat and I love people. I am an avid musician and get into the footy a little bit (I grew up in the country, I'm sorry :P ). I also try to hit up the gym a few times a week. I'm clean and very much want the people I live with to be clean and tidy.. my room is usually out of control, but everywhere else in the house is always tidy and clean. As I mentioned, I am very much working towards developing a successful musical career, so moving into a place that I can set my drumming up in a garage is on the top of my priority list, followed immediately by having awesome housemates! Ideally it would be great to have housemates that can I get along well enough with to have a beer and go out for a meal but that also have their own independent lives going on. Between working full-time, rehearsing, touring and performing, I go between being home most nights to being out or away for (seemingly) weeks at a time. I have "done my time" so to speak, in uni party houses and have outgrown such living circumstances, thus, I am clean and tidy and respectful of the need to keep the place that way. This doesn't mean I don't love a party, which I do, but, am just looking for reasonable common sense/courteous type people, and also having a kitchen that I am not afraid to cook in! Also - I will be overseas in Central America and California from late September until early November - thus, I'm looking for somewhere to move in the first 2 weeks of November for at least 1 year.
Hi! I'm Chihiro. I'm an international student who intends to live in Melbourne for 5-6 months or more. I consider myself to be a tidy, responsible person who you will have a fun to live with. One of my hobbies is rock climbing, let's go for a climbing together if you are interested in it! Thank you for your attention.
I'm a student at Unimelb. I'm clean, tidy and easy-going person and respectful of other's space. Will be glad to grab a beer and hangout or binge watch or play games in the console when not working. Feel free to shoot any questions if you'd like to know more about me.
I enjoy having a chat, drawing pictures, listening to music, occasionally binge watching TV series, the odd beer or wine, going to gigs and having a good walk. I play guitar and drums. I like reading graphic novels. I run a small web and graphic design business working from a desk in the Nicholas building on Flinders ln. I'm neat, friendly, responsible. I'm a vegetarian and like to keep active a couple of times a week. If all that is not enough, here is a recent review from Laurel, an Air BnB host I stayed with recently: "Ben was a wonderful guest--more like him please! He was quiet, curious, respectful, and a good communicator. He's interesting to chat with, and it's always a pleasure to have visitors from afar staying with us! He's welcome back anytime."
Just all round good lad, looking for a humble abode. Generally keep to myself and work most of the time, social and love to chat and have a drink when the occasion calls for it.
I'm a fun and considerate housemate. I've recently finished a job in country Vic working full-time for the last 10 years. I'm heading back to Melb for work and would love to team up with someone to find my feet. I'm great with cleaning and tricky stains are my speciality (so I'm told! haha) I love indoor plants and making a comfortable home everywhere I go. I enjoy cooking but am no masterchef - happy to jump in a give it a go!
Hi! I'm Miri, I'm 21 and currently working full time in the city. I'm a regular gig goer, taking my camera along taking snaps and vids, op-shopping and market hunting for vintage gems and some good ol' chats over a glass of red! Going for skates around the city with my trusty ol' pentax film camera is also another thing I love! :) Looking for a house that is social, happy and easy going environment! Thanks :)
I'm fun and bubbly and very easy to get along with. I love socialising and going out but also like staying at home some times, eating chocolate and watching Netflix. Also I am a pretty clean person, tidy up after myself and I love to cook :) i'm looking to live with someone who is easy going and wouldn't mind having a chat over dinner. I'm hoping to be good friends with my housemate. I also want someone who likes to go out and doesn't mind if some friends come over for some drinks on the weekend.
Hi, We are Amy and Jay and we are looking to move into a house in Melbourne as soon as we get jobs (have already started applying). Hoping for the start of the new year but could be sooner, or might be later. Amy is a Scientist working full time and Jay is a Personal Banker working part time and studying Criminology/Psychology. Our family is made up of us and 2 adopted/retired greyhounds, Eva and Lacie, who like to sleep and go for walks (they sleep roughly 20 hours a day). We also have a ginger cat named Pete who likes to roam the streets. So we are looking for housemates who like animals! They will definitely like you! We like opp shopping and bargain hunting, going to the movies and catching a few gigs, heading out for dinner and a few drinks on weekends, vegetarian food and chilling at home. Unfortunately our party days are over but that doesn't stop us from trying occasionally! We are both neat and tidy, respectful housemates and we are looking for people who are LgbT friendly, who like animals and are also neat, tidy and respectful!
Hello Future Flatmate/s! I'm a 21-year-old Queenslander gal, putting my Law degree on hold in Townsville and taking up alternative studies in Event Management in Melbourne. I'm looking to make the big move in early Jan of 2017. I've lived out of home for the last few years, so I consider myself to be pretty independent and reliable. I'm fun/friendly, easy going, tidy and respectful of others. I do enjoy my own company, but love to socialise over a drink (or three) on weekends! In my spare time, you'll find me op-shopping, traveling/exploring, attending community events/music gigs, brunching, napping or attempting to cook/maintain the life of a pot plant. Essentially, I'm hoping to find some guys/girls that are of similar age who share common interests, that will not only be a flatmate, but someone who I could also become friends with! If you think I sound like the gal for you, swing me a message :)
Hi! I work full time as a surgical assistant. I've lived in great share houses previously. I'm friendly, clean, respectful to others. Finding a new housie to share a wine or laugh with would be a bonus! I work hard and in my spare time I enjoy coffee with friends, finding a new cafe try and anything outdoors. Ideally looking to find someone to start a sharehouse or an unfurnished room! Looking forward to meeting you :) Looking to move Dec 16- Jan 17
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease/sublease on a private room in a nice shared house with nice roommates. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!

Here I am looking for a good accommodation nearby Melbourne School of Government, in which I can stay comfortably during my study in Australia. I plan to move in on 2 January 2016, the date I arrive Melbourne. I am an easygoing and tidy person from Cambodia who can live with students from any country. I respect sociocultural differences. I am ready to adapt to new living and learning environment. I want to live in my private room either in a shared apartment or school dormitory. Thus I was wondering if you would introduce me to such a kind of accommodation. Thank you very much in advance.
I've lived out of home for the most part of 2 years now, and after living with females that whole time I have gained a very healthy habit of keeping everything clean, respecting privacy and being willing to get out there and meet new people. I currently work 35+ hours each week at first choice in Tooronga village, Hawthorn east and I enjoy nothing more than going to the footy when I have time and having a few beers whilst I unwind at home
