I’m currently leasing a wonderful 3 bedroom property in Woodend and am seeking to transfer it to someone new. The property is amazing and I am sad to leave, but due to work I must relocate to Melbourne. While the property is indeed stellar (see details below), there will be 4 weeks of civil works undertaken starting sometime early October. Basically, the block is being subdivided, which means there will be some machinery involved to relocate the water tank. While there won’t be any disturbance to the house itself, I’d be very happy to fill you in on more details of what’s up with the back yard. DM me. LOCATION The property is a 20-minute walk to Woodend Train Station, Coles, pubs, specialty stores, restaurants and fitness centres. Otherwise, it’s a 5-minute bike ride, or a 2-minute drive. The property is at the base of Mount Macedon, which seems to bleed mist! There are phenomenal walking trails very close by. It’s also a 7-minute drive to Hanging Rock and many other rad Macedon Ranges stuff, including wineries, natural waterfalls and hot springs. There’s a bit of a long, redundant strip of lawn that will be taken as a driveway, and some of the very back, back yard will be taken too. Good news is, there will be a new water tank and fencing installed. The front garden is very difficult for me to leave. I adore it and I am sure any other green thumb will too. If you’re not a green thumb, that’s cool. The beds are packed full of bulbs and have been weeded within an inch of their life, so you don’t really have to do much but wait for the show come spring.
