I am from India, very easy going and mostly preoccupied with my books. I respect privacy and can be very non-intrusive potential flatmate. I am not too much of a party person, but do enjoy a drink or two after a long day; having said that, if you're throwing a party at the flat, I would be more than happy to help and participate if needed. When I am not studying or reading novels, I devote my time to Netflix. Absolutely adore dogs, hence don't have much problem with pets.

We have a room for rent in a large old house. The house was built sometime in the 1920's it is old and a little rough around the edges but has a very homey feel. Located on a quiet family orientated street just off Magill rd close to restaurants, supermarkets and public transport. Also in very close vicinity to the Norwood parade. Pretty relaxed living space - great for studying and close to city, Norwood shops etc. Very old villa with lots of rustic charm and a nice garden with plenty of room to start veggie patches/ pursue hobbies etc. It's a lush place that is surely very inviting for those with a green thumb. The house is very old, circa 1880 and was likely one of the first establishments in the area. Yep they sure don't build them like they used to, and this old beast has certainly stood the test of time. With it comes the energies of families, lovers, artists and travelers from all walks of life across many different parts of the world. The space is a quiet place and best suited for those who like peaceful living, with the occasional dinner with friends and good banter. I have a large double room available at the front of the house. It has been recently repainted and has a queen bed, large standing desk, shelving and open hanging space for clothes. It is a comfortable space with lots of room. I would ideally like a couple in this room as it reduces rent and makes living here quite cheap, however i am open to single applicants also. With three people here it's $100 each per week, which includes ADSL. Water and electricity are extra and charged quarterly. I like being around people who are light hearted with a sense of humour, and preferable experience with share-house living.
