I'm hoping to find a long-term home for at least a year; or longer, if all works out well. I definitely like calm and quiet in my home environment, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I'm now studying a three year Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week, one a private class in Mullum, and one in Byron. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I have my own income. I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I'm not rigid about it. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
I'm relocating from Canberra to the Byron area at at the end of Aug (earlier if possible) I have full time work as a carpenter there. I have a little Aussie bulldog girl and a chocolate amstaff boy as well as two female ferrets, so am looking for people that love animals and laughing. My time outside of work is spent writing/creating music, exercising and training the animals. If you enjoy joking/laughing, connecting, animals and are conscious then get in contact. Would ideally like to find somewhere within 20mins from Byron, on some acreage in the rainforest. 😊
I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing. I don't have any pets of my own but very happy to live with someone who does SO LONG AS they are well trained, cared for, and don't become a burden to me through lack of training and care by their human parents, I would also be particularly intolerant of witnessing any abuse of such pets.
My name is Lisa and I'm looking to rent around Currumbin/ Tallebudgera/ palm Beach areas (+20kms) Im a 23 year old female about to study full time which includes work at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary once a week and study at Kingscliff Tafe. I have a part time job working in retail at Tweed Heads. With me I have 2 medium sized dogs who are very friendly, well mannered, well trained and don't bark except one of them when someone knocks at the door but no other time. I also have a 6 month old Sulphur Crested Cockatoo who I have raised from 5 weeks old and am training in free flight (outside of course) he is extremely friendly and cuddly and doesn't bite. He will mainly just be in his cage or outside on his harness with me. I always clean up after myself and my pets, am very relaxed and easy going, and would like to live with similar people who aren't interested in drama. I don't smoke and don't drink aside from a couple of beers socially, and I am happy to look after any of your pets if you are away. In my pass time, I primarily ride my horse who will be agisted nearby, paint, go swimming/ exploring with my dog or go hang gliding. If you are interested and I sound like a good fit, please contact me as soon as possible. My housemate is selling the house soon so I will need to relocate by august. Regards, Lisa :)
Professional female employed full time. Very easygoing and laid back, great sense of humour, clean and tidy. Relocating from the Gold Coast and looking forward to going back to the country away from years in 'city rat race'. My preference is to rent in Uki and looking for someone interested in teaming up with me.
I am a very clean and tidy person who appreciates my privacy and respects the privacy of others. I am not a party person and enjoy peace, quiet and harmony in my living space. Easy going and easy to get along with. Prefer fully self contained granny flat or a shared home with my own space. I work in the hospitality industry, relocating from the Gold Coast for a change of pace and I love cooking, reading, hiking, camping and various creative outlets.
Our lovely large three story, eight bedroom home on one acre about 4 kms from Murwillumbah, has a room to rent for a single person. You'll be sharing with 2 or 3 others (male and female), including sharing a bathroom. The property is on the Tweed River with views across to the Springbrook mountains. It’s very relaxing to sit on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view and hearing the birds. There is a swimming pool, a slow combustion fire place and a dog that spends a lot of time inside with us. (Sorry, no other pets considered). You’ll be sharing with the owner and one or two others who are currently renting. Please only contact us if you have stable, full time employment, have no major dramas going on and can live peacefully and respectfully with others. It’s a quiet home with people who enjoy an active, healthy lifestyle. No smokers (not even outside) and no drugs! You would be expected to do your fair share of the housework and gardening, so that the home and yard are well maintained. There is ample space for you to grow your own food, herbs etc, if you want. We buy our own food and sometimes have shared meals. Short term rental also considered, if you are in-between homes. The bedroom can be furnished or unfurnished, however apart from the bedroom, there is not a lot of space for other people’s stuff, i.e. the home is fully furnished. Originally from Adelaide, I have lived in the Byron area for over 5 years. I currently work full time in Sales & marketing in the Fashion industry. I enjoy a relaxed, yet social sanctuary as my living space. I'm clean, tidy, enjoy the beach, study and a good wine over dinner. I would prefer my own bathroom, sharing a 2/3 bedroom 2 bathroom space with a couple or a likeminded single.
I'm retired but still make the odd sculpture. I definitely enjoy interesting conversations on a wide variety of topics. I'm a free energy researcher and have an invention I was selling in China... long story... I play around with Bitcoin trading and crypto-currencies as I feel these are about to take over as global currencies... I have travelled a great deal in my life and still get away at least once a year. I'm looking at importing and exporting. I do enjoy a red wine with dinner but do NOT drink to excess and don't want to live in a home where there is a lot of drinking. I have a nice car so need off street parking in the least, but prefer a garage. I have a lot of tools as I do still make sculptures (wind sculptures) so a shed/workshop would be good, but I can do without this as I can rent a shed if needed... I'm definitely an interesting bloke with a dry sense of humour and enjoy a good laugh... I don't take life too seriously, it's too short and too good to stress over the little things. I'm tidy and clean up after me and would like any I share with to do the same... I prefer to share with people who have some life experience, not young and careless... What I'm looking for is a 2 bedroom granny flat or similar for myself and my son who's 19 and was schooled the Steiner system so is thoughtful and caring. I look forward to meeting you and sharing your home/property... it will be cared for as my own.

My name is Kriselle and I am looking for a place to live in the Northern NSW or Southern Gold Coast region, for myself and my Companion Dog, Lila. I recently lost my home in the Northern Rivers floods so am keen to find a sanctuary and some stability as soon as possible. I am a quiet, clean and tidy person and Lila is my companion, so must come with me wherever I move to. If you have a spare room and have wanted a dog, but not wanted the responsibility or cost associated with one, please consider us. Lila will give you all the love in the world, while I will do everything associated with her care. Lila is well socialised, so would also enjoy the company of another dog if you already have one and are keen for it to have a playmate. Any property must be dog-secure. I can afford $150 per week and look forward to hearing from you.

After many years of city life I am excited to make a change in a different part of the world. I'm interested in alternative and natural ways of living I have a love for Yoga, meditation, the arts, photography, anything creative! Robin I was born in Yorkshire in the north of England before moving to London after university. I work as a Project Manager in building and development. I love to travel and meet new people. Hi! Would like to live somewhere where people are respectful, kind and considerate. A sense of humour and a friendly smile would be an added bonus. Be nice to live with likeminded people and be more than just housemates, but friends as well. A big family at home! I don't mind whether or not you have dramas going on in your life, because that's life and it is filled with dramas sometimes - and I will be there if you need my shoulder to lean on and a great big hug. I'm an Artist, Musician, Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Writer and Astrologer. I also Teach when I can and love keeping active and grounded. I love helping other people and I care about the World! I lead an alternative lifestyle and am not a conformist. I don't do drugs, but I'm very openminded about people's choices. I'm looking for a really nice, relaxing and beautiful home immediately! I'm flexible with areas because I don't need to limit my options based upon work! :) My Budget is $250. I can pay more, but I prefer not to - because it's just too much to pay in the whole scheme of this Life! We all gotta eat, rest well and have fun!
