We don't currently have internet but I'm looking at getting it put on, as it's kind of essential for most things nowadays. More than happy to talk that over with you. The room has built-in cupboards for lots of space, there's an air conditioning unit, good sized TV and great movie collection (feel free to add to it!), all the kitchen essentials, quick washing machine and hopefully soon a flower garden. Working on it! Because the house is quite small, power and water bills aren't super extravagant so splitting three ways or even two wouldn't scratch much up at the bank.
We are a quiet couple with 2 small and friendly dogs. Jasmine is at UTAS and Josh has a cert III in IT, about to commence his bachelors in IT. We rarely have people over or leave/come back particularly late or early. We mostly keep to ourselves but also love a chat. We're looking to share with a dog lover as ours are very sociable. Josh is a wheelchair user and would need an entrance that could be ramped (we can install ramps ourselves) and a relatively flat shower (no showers over baths or raised showers). Our dogs need a secure backyard, but we could put in small sections of fence if need be. We'd need a queen sized bedroom with either built-ins or room to put a wardrobe. Josh has a small business and would also require space for his equipment and IT items. We know this is a lot to ask but if anyone can help we'd be very happy!
Hello! Just got a 1 year contract working as a physio at Launceston General Hospital. Looking to live with 2 other housemates around my age, preferably female. A bit about me... I’m friendly, sociable, like downtime but love hanging out, like exploring new places, like outdoor activities adventures, christian, neat/clean/tidy, easy going, love a good laugh :)
Hi, I am a full time nursing student from Malaysia and working part time in Launceston. I am currently looking for a room for myself. I am clean, tidy, respectful, quiet(can be sociable depends on situation), easy going, love sports and cooking. Looking forward to fantastic housemates(could be you) to message me. Thank you.
Work full time
Great house, close to everything and a 5 minute walk to the city. Quiet street. Has ducted heating and air conditioning and a large backyard.
nursing student
Clean, neat, full time health professional who likes to unwind after work!
Just looking into what's around really. Disregard me
I am clean and usually keep to myself
I’m very clean and tidy and love to have a laugh with someone! I’m really approachable and easy going!
21, Originally from NZ but have lived in Aus for the last 7 years. I’ve been living in Launceston on and off for 4 years for uni. I usually study during the day but I like to make time for the gym and chilling with mates so I’m often not home though I would like living with someone who’s happy to hang out. Always keen for a chat and love to experiment on the stove though I am mindful and happy to keep the place clean. I work two jobs, both based in Hobart on weekends so I’ll mostly only be around on weekdays. Ideal housemate would be someone who loves a laugh and is pretty easy going.
French couple looking for a room!
I'm Moira, I just finished college at LC and am looking for full time/part time work and a place to stay as my parents are moving out of state. I enjoy writing and playing music and my extensive collection of earrings. I'm originally from the Launceston area and grew up down the river. I'm looking to find a share house of like minded people who enjoy yummy meals and the occasional Netflix binge.
Hi, I'm Cleanna and I've grown up around Launceston. I'm currently having a break from my studies of Journalism and Media and am looking for a place to live in Launceston. I'm an easy going person, very reliable and honest. I'm currently working multiple jobs about 4-5 days a week and have lived in student accomodation in the last year. I enjoy socialising with friends, reading, travelling and tasting my way through every burger place I come across. I look forward to hearing from you!
Nursing student looking for somewhere to use 3 nights a week rather than commute from nw coast. I value neatness and respecting others property, space and needs. But I'm not a dick about it. Non smoker, occasional drinker, healthy, friendly and positive. Financially secure. I'm also learning Mandrin, although I suspect uni will slow me down a bit. I'm looking for a chill sharehouse or unit- preferably not Mayfield, Mowbray, ravo Ect (been there, done that).
Our lovely home is located in a quiet street and is walking distance to the LGH and very close to the city centre as well as local cafes. The house has open planned living with a modern kitchen and bathroom but maintaining the character and charm of the one hundred year old home that it is. There is a large yard and great patio space for some outdoor time. Each room has an electric heater and built in wardrobe.
The house is super close to town, Kmart, city park and the pool. Lovely area! The house has aircon and all the necessities of a home including fridge and washing machine.
Outgoing and fun person looking for a place to call home.
Hola. I am Bhavin and I will be commencing my 2nd semester in UTAS. I have lived in houseshare before, so I am familiar with household chores. My mild OCD ensures that everything around me is neat and tidy. I can cook Indian cuisine (try to) so my roommates will be treated with tasty food. I am a vegetarian. Usually, I will be out in the evening playing soccer or going to trivia nights. During my free time, I like to explore Tassie. I am quite friendly but will respect others privacy. Can't wait to meet new people.
Hey I’m Luke I’ve just moved back to tassie after living on the mainland for 8 years. I work full time. And play cricket and football on weekends so I’m hardly home. I am clean and tidy without being to ocd. if you want to chill and have a beer then I’m all for that if you would rather have your own time then that’s also something I’m more than happy to do as well.
