I am a full time student @ Deakin Burwood studying Environmental Science, I work part time at a bike shop and cycle most days of the week. I rarely stay up late and am up early in the mornings to train. Quiet and easy going, I take pride in keeping clean, tidy and organized. I enjoy cooking for myself and others and socializing over a meal and/or a quiet drink but tend to keep to myself and split my time between study, work and training. I'm looking for somewhere to live for 6+ months that is a small household that respects the need for quiet for study and rest. No party houses.
We are a newly wed couple who are looking to deck out a new home. We are both from America and looking to start a life in Australia. I work in not-for-profit and my partner works as an engineer! We both like to camp, hike, and be in the outdoors!
I am a 29 year old female, laid back, clean, adventurous and like the outdoors. I don't like to party hard but like a drink every now and then. I work full time so would only be around in evenings and on weekends. I have a beautiful friendly cat named Harriet who I would like to take with me. She mainly spends her days outdoors but sleep inside at night. She is super clean, doesn't smell and is completely toilet trained.
My name is Erin and I am 31. I have a creative design background and have studied many things including photography, marketing and fashion design. I like to do little projects to keep active. My interests are in sustainable fashion & design, art, history, photography, current affairs and various TV shows and movies. Currently unemployed due to health reasons, but I am on the disability support pension, so I have an income. I live independently and do not need any assistance. I am always working on improving my health and have a pretty clean lifestyle. I am a clean person and contain any mess I have to my bedroom. I am a sociable, friendly and bubbly and generally happy person. Always up for a chat over a cuppa; D&M, current affairs or just something funny or silly. But do respect personal space and the need for down time too. I have recently been exploring meditation and Buddhist principles to improving health and well-being.
My name is Beau, I'm a 25 year old transgender, bisexual, vegan, moving back to Victoria after living in NSW for 7 years. I've been studying a Bachelor of Visual arts, but will be switching to a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin in 2018. In the meantime I will be working and hopefully studying a Barbering course part-time. I'm very clean, respectful, reliable, and laid back. I love cooking, gardening, and painting. I'm not a huge party animal, but enjoy a couple of drinks once in a while. I have a 3 year old French Bulldog cross, named Yoda. He's extremely friendly and loveable, and very easygoing. He won't dig up the garden or bark excessively, but he does enjoy a tummy rub and snacking on fruit.
Hey funky souls! My friend Brianna, James and I are all students looking for accommodation around the areas listed. We love having gaming tournaments, board game nights, feasts and playing tug-of-war with Brianna's doggo Rosie (she was adopted from Pet Rescue and is cute af). Brianna and I are both passionate about the environment, food, exercise and veganism (but no hate towards people who aren't) so we'd cook you up 10/10 meals man. Who wouldn't want that? James is an all-round top bloke who loves his baseball and doesn't mind downing a beer or two. We will also be bringing a LOT of cactuses and succulents, and just cute plants in general. 😁 We are looking for at least 3 bedrooms to rent out, our max budget each being $170 including bills (poor student life 😅) so I hope one of you lovely souls out there has a place available! We are very respective, clean, and tidy people who would love to live together with maybe a few others whilst we complete our degrees :) Don't hesitate to contact us! Thank you for reading and we look forward to reading your messages! Cheers guys xx

So it's time for me to move closer to work, as my long commute to work each weekday has finally got on my nerves. As an active person that enjoys exploring Victoria I'm often out and about hiking or biking on weekends, but when I'm home and have the time I like learning to cook new meals (vegetarian is a specialty), spending time relaxing out in the backyard, watching a bit of TV or surfing the web. Being an engineer my work hours are generally 8.30am - 6pm on weekdays and I usually play basketball at least one night a week. Would be great to have a couple shared interests with my potential housemate/s, so give us a heads up as to what you enjoy doing in your spare time if you are to message me. I come house trained, so that means I clean up after myself (and often others), make time each day to complete the necessary chores, pay my bills early or on time and am more than happy to socialise when the time is appropriate. Would like to find a place that could accommodate a future pet, preferably a canine, but I am willing to wait a while for that, if I can find a suitable home and housemate to live with. Hope to hear from you soon
I'm a quiet person, binge watch shows on netflix. i play guitar, juggle, I have a house full of things already as I own everything in this sharehouse that is about to be disbanded. This place was shared by 4ppl, now 2, now 1, and rent is simply too much. I have one pet named Navi, she is a blue quaker parrot. she is toilet trained (mostly)... she talks and can make noise when shes cranky, she goes to bed at 8pm and doesn't make any noise until about 10am.
Hi, I'm a 24 yr old male who's recently finished sports journalism at uni and am hoping to get a job in the field. I currently work at crown around 5 days a week. I love all things sports, am layed back and enjoy the occasional afternoon bevo. I've lived with both females and males in the past so I'm not fussed as to who I live with. My current lease ends on the 4th of February and I'm happy to move into something that's available now.
I will be attending Deakin University in Burwood, so looking for some lovely people to team up with! Hopefully some like minded students who like to hang out as well as have their own personal space and alone time! Would be great to find a 3 bedroom place we can all rent out! Preferably girls, but guys and couples welcome :)
I'm neat and keep a clean space, I'm easy-going and enjoy private time as well as social time. I am a town planner and enjoy swing dancing in my free time. Also, I love baking! I have a pet rabbit who lives indoors and I have a few furnishings and appliances, so an unfurnished place with some storage is preferable.
Hey there! My husband and I are planning to move to Melbourne. But before we make the full transition, we would like to test the waters a little bit. We are planning to live in Melbourne for 6 months to a year to see if we get the jobs we are after and the things we want our future to root into. We are friendly, full of life people. Having said that, not really the party people. We have a kitty. His name is Biscuit. He is very friendly and clean boy. An indoor cat. We cant give him up so he has to stay with us. He doesn't bite, in fact would smother u with hugs. We have had him ever since he was a kitten. So would really appreciate some one who would let us keep him. Please give me a buzz if you are cool to keep us as ur paying guest. :) Cheers! Happy New Year! :)
We're an outgoing, tidy and organised couple moving from Perth to Melbourne for business. I'm easy going, quiet but social. I enjoy a good coffee and a book. My ideal day off would have equal parts of shopping, coffee, and taking it easy. I like to keep fit and eat well but I'm not obsessed with and can put away a pizza with the best of them.
Hi there, I'm an undergraduate at Deakin University who works part time. Looking for an ensuite bedroom for myself for about 4 months.
Hi, I'm a 26yr old single grad nurse looking for a self contained unit/apartment/house with an ensuite or a private bathroom. I'm flexible with furnishing and I have my own furniture and household items.
I'm posting this ad on behalf of my mother in law, Filomena. After a tumultuous year, she is back in VIC, having been living interstate since April. We are now trying to find her a place to call home while we organise a more permanent solution. Mena is 79, but feels 59! Apart from needing to walk with the aid of a stick, she is in good physical health. She is very sociable, loves a chat over coffee, and has always enjoyed the company of younger people. It will probably be months, rather than weeks, until we purchase somewhere for Mena to live, so we are looking for a home she can relax in and continue to enjoy her independence. We're hoping someone else out there is happy to have a bit of companionship and needs a spare room filled. The contact info provided is mine -feel free to get in touch for a chat. Rhianne

If you are sensitive to noise you will become psychotic living here, it is very noisy. my current flatmate does not seem to care so i guess it is a personal preference... he is moving out soon and i hope to move out this year... 1km from train station, 200 meters from "dan Murphys" and a pub lol .. i hate that bit.. bus stop out the front. Eastlink 500 meters away (30 minutes to the city or frankston, depends on traffic) heaps of car parking in the front drive or behind the front gate. Garage/work shed. great for someone who likes to work on cars or needs a workshop. might be good if you have a dog, but i prefer a quiet dog that does not bark...lol.. next door has one that barks as least a few times a day, but they are lovely people. the guy on the other side only makes noise when he coughs up his guts up in the bathroom ..lol.. gym around the corner (muscle factory).. parks near by... its a great location except the noise.. that is why i will move out this year, the sooner the better! I know you're probably reading this thinking WTF! .. I just want you to know what you're getting into.. unlike what happened to me.. I've been here 5 years this month, and it's time for me to move on... lol ...

Hi, I'm Georgia :) I am 19 years old and am a full-time student looking for accomodation at an affordable price. I study at Deakin (Burwood), and am currently looking for a casual job here in Melbourne (I have one back in Tassie that I work at when I am back for holidays). I dance a few nights of the week also. I am from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne at the start of 2016 for university. I am studying Exercise and Sport Science and will be in my third year in 2017. I will be heading back to Tassie soon for the Christmas/summer break, but will be back mid February and am flexible as to when I can move from my current place (in Eltham). Looking for a place in between Deakin (Burwood) and the city. Not too far from either. Loved living in Abbotsford earlier in the year, and will look at surrounding suburbs.

I work part time but really its more like full time hours at david jones can get a discount on home appliances just saying... I am laid back and very easy going, am always up for a chat but love some down time too. I keep a pretty active lifestyle between the gym and walking the winster. I am really tidy and even more reliable even down to not eating your treats (I'd feel too guilty and fess up straight away ) Feel free to message me :)
- Working in real estate full time. - gym in the morning - Done some travel, lived in London. - Have always been more inclined to keep to myself but I do enjoy being in the company of other people - Red wine, Ribs, walking, beach - clean and somewhat OCD, Its not unusual for me to spend my RDO Cleaning but I really appreciate cooperation - my bf is like a skin tag that you can't cut off. He will watch the cricket/football/sport with you and I will complain or use the time to annoy my dog who I need to now describe. Blue American staffy called Riley He is strong, will be very excited to see you and will probably love you more than me. He's naughty (stands on tables when unattended) but also very lazy, his tail is a whip - watch your wine/beer. Don't leave your undies out... I hope I haven't scared you all off.
I'm a 29 year old, full-time working (building inspect) male. Am easy to get along with and enjoy chilling and having laughs with other housemates but also need my alone time. I'm clean and considerate of others and don't take up much room in the fridge (this is a big perk). In my spare time I hit the gym, love my TV shows and movies (BoJack Horseman, American Dad, any horror movie), computer / xbox, hang out with friends or share a bev with the housemates. I'm looking for a place that is relatively close to Jetts Gym in Ringwood.
Hi, I've been renting in Blackburn for the past year and due to my roommate moving out I'm looking for a new place. I'd consider myself polite, clean and respectful of others privacy. I work full time in the CBD and enjoy watching movies, reading and playing games on my PS4.
Mature, decent person. Work a lot so hardly there. Require similar people, no games no drama. Rent is paid on time and am neat and clean, private and honest... Only mature people please.
Hi there, I'm looking for a place to live independently or with up to two other people, similar age/maturity and non-smokers. Prefer rent to be inclusive of utilities and internet. Prefer en suite bathroom ideally but flexible. I am honest, reliable and will pay rent on time. I work in the city 9 to 5, sometimes work from home. I am social but enjoy alone time too. I am respectful of others. I enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, markets, cafes. Would like to live close to parklands, bike tracks. Any questions, please ask. Cheers, Andrea. I also have my own bedroom furniture that I would like to use. I have other furniture also, happy to share or if storage is available that would be great!
Hi - I'm Natalie. I am friendly, clean and reliable. I tend to socialise out, and then use home as an oasis. I work full time in Glen Waverley. My interests include fitness, yoga, travel and nature. Im an animal lover so if you have them, that's ok by me.
Hi My name is Cristian an i work full time as security at a shopping centre. I am reliable, clean, professional, 27 yo romanian. I am interested in a master bedroom with OWN ENSUITE around 20 minutes maximum from Doncaster. I own my own furniture so unfurnished rooms are not a problem. On my free spare time, I like to go road trips or ride my motorcycle. Which would be great if i can have a little bit of your garage space to store it securely. References can be provided.
I'm an easy going, happy to talk shit, and slightly dopey aerospace engineering student. I am a window cleaner when I'm not at uni, so the windows will (probably) be nicely kept. Preferred price is around $170 per week, maximum $220 including bills/internet. The lower the cost the better though! ;) For the next two years i'll be studying at RMIT Bundoora. So i could be down for a lease which is that long. Just got to find the right home! I'm hoping to make a few new friends, knuckle down to focus on my study, and live in a lighthearted and chilled environment. I play indoor soccer every week, and am always keen to play sports, or throw a Frisbee. Or just be out-doors to have a gander.
When I am home, I love to be social and tell you about my day, But I also respect privacy and enjoy spending time in my room watching netflix! I lead quite a busy lifestyle- work f/t, gym 4 days a week, I stay with my boyfriend 1-2 nights a week. I am super clean and organised, and most things I do are on a schedule! I am not a control freak, but I am fairly picky on being clean and tidy. I cook during the week, and on weekends I will usually be out eating and drinking wine. Watching sports is a love of mine. I pretty much follow everything!
Im originally from Mozambique I moved to Melbourne in 2012 and am Now a citizen. I'm 18 turning 19 soon ,I've finished high school and I'm planning on starting my diploma at RMIT this year. Just need a place to myself where I can give 100% when it comes to my studies reason why I'm moving out. I consider myself a very easy going person. I Respect people's privacy and i like to keep the space I'm in tidy. I'm not loud at all ,entertainment for me is reading a book, watching YouTube and drawing. And organised when it comes to bills.

I am currently looking for a causal/part time job that will fit around my hours of being a law student, however i am a neat causal person but i do have an 11 year old maltese cross who is house trained and is good around children/people/other pets he has a good temperament and he doesn't have the nasty dog smell!
Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
