It's a granny flat out the back of a big family home, with a large backyard. It's two bedroom, one bathroom, with a large living/dining/kitchen area. There's an air conditioner, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, induction stove top, microwave & fridge. The bathroom has a shower/bath with radio & Bluetooth. The spare room has a single bed in it right now but will be unfurnished when someone moves in, it's not huge but it's big enough for a bed, bedside table, a set of drawers and already has a BIR. The rest of the house is already furnished, there's a dining table and six chairs, a couch and a flat screen tv hooked up to a computer, DVD player and VHS player. There's a table set up for craft, painting, drawing, sewing, etc. The backyard is large and has a hills hoist to hang up washing. I have a small jack Russell Terrier who loves people and sheds a little, a roommate would have to be okay with a dog and the fur but she's very loving and happy. There's plenty of on-street parking and a seperate side entrance for getting to the granny flat.
The unit is about a 5 minute drive from the train station and the Main Streets. It's in a quiet neighbourhood, the place is a nice 2 bedroom unit so you will only have one to two house mate. Hey, I'm Karlijn an 18 year old girl from the Netherlands. I've come to Melbourne to live and work for 6 months. I'm friendly and a easy going person, i can cook and i like to have a good conversation.
By nature I am quiet, so no parties from this customer. I enjoy taking long walks listening to podcasts, audiobooks etc and when at home, watching a movie with beer or some wine. I am an employed IT professional so if you need help with your computer, I'd be happy to help. :)
Hi there, I am after a shared accommodation for myself preferably in Fawkner, Glenroy, Reservoir, campbellfield, Coburg North. I am Easy-going, tidy and trustworthy. I'm working part time and casual that means almost busy full week but also love socialising. Looking for chill and friendly housemates
Hi Good Morning: I am easy going guy looking for a team up to take a lease. I am a mindful and friendly guy who is working in chemist warehouse and studying accounting. I want to live with people as a family, to share a dinner no every day but sometimes in a Saturday. I am very clean and tidy and this point is very important for me. I love sports and outdoor activities. Legs get together and team up for a lease. cheers
Hi! My name is Anna, I am a full-time masters of architecture student at the University of Melbourne. I would enjoy a fun, social house - with some shared meals and cooking (I'm vegetarian). I like to focus on study during the week, but also do yoga, go for walks, drink cups of tea and chat, see friends - and I like to go out on the weekends for some beers. I like to keep things very clean and keep rent and bills all happening on time.
Hi, I'm Lisa, a part-time postgrad student and social entrepreneur (working on business social responsibility). Looking for easy-going roommates to share with, while I focus on my start-up venture ;) I am a bit quirky at times and have a fascination with polka dots (don't ask me why). I enjoy my quiet time / privacy but also love to chat and am always up for a glass of wine. I am a bit of a 'leftie' - I like to engage with politics, global issues etc but I also like a good laugh as a way of dealing with the BS going on in global politics! I loooooove travel and anything relating to different cultures; wine; a good doco; listening to personal development / mindset stuff, and going to the pub. I also am an AFL fan and love getting to the games during the cooler months. I am fascinated by languages so occasionally try to learn one - with some progress ;) I also love getting outdoors, going to the beach, walking, or going for a casual bike ride (I'm no speedster!) Between the business start up I am working on and my studies, networking events etc I keep pretty busy. I love to watch docos to wind down (I know, that’s strange but somehow it works). Not a 'party girl' but occasionally have a few too many at the pub ;) Occasionally I binge Netflix TV Series or chocolate ;) I'm not vego or vegan but am completely open minded about that. I am looking for a house mate that has similar values, is easy going, and independent, happy to chat but also respects downtime (and will not judge me if I drink a few wines on the couch on a weekday). I occasionally work from home 1-2 days per week (generally on days when I am out networking on that night) so I am not sure if that would be a problem with you. I don't have a car, only my bike, so don't need parking. I have all the household stuff as I currently live on my own - but happy to share the 'house fit out'. I am wanting to live close to Brunswick / Brunswick East ideally as its convenient for me. Would be great to hear from you if you think I may be a possible housemate ☺
Friendly, non-smoking, mature aged student. Am fun loving and love to laugh. Enjoy the occasional quiet beer at the local or in the backyard. I am courteous, respectful of others' space, beliefs and belongings. I clean up after myself, still working on the cooking thing but have some specialties up my sleeves. And no, it's not 2 minute noodles ;o) I have moved to Melbourne from Canberra, have some family and friends here, but looking to find my own space somewhere. I'm an AFL fan, love music (particularly live gigs), all sorts of comedy. Love movies, reading and am a big fan of board games and trivia nights. I go to salsa class every week which is great fun.
Easy-going, tidy, trustworthy 21 yo, 4th year student Enjoy music and sports Play guitar and basketball Work casually Enjoy a night in or out Looking for chill and friendly housemates Christian Willing to move start of 2017 Thanks!
Hi legends, I'm moving back to Melbourne after a few years in Sydney. Have lived in share accommodation for a while and it's been a mix of couples, guys, girls and aged between 20-38 y/o. So I have a great understanding of what it takes to make a share house work :). So, me, I'm single straight male aged 37 and I'm moving back to Melbourne to start working on a big dream of mine (my current job is a 60+ hour week and doesn't allow me the time to work on it). I'm a bit of a health-nut, but also enjoy a vino on the couch with the housemates, and the odd catch up at the pub. I'm easy going and happy to have a chat about anything, but realise the need for personal space too. I keep a clean house and happy to get in the kitchen. I currently have most household things: fridge, washing machine, large u-shaped couch, appliances, etc. But am planning to sell before I move back (so let me know if you want me to keep anything).
I'm a happy-go-lucky bloke who loves his coffee, pizza and wine. An average cook who loves to cook for his friends and family. A software engineer and a sports guy who is dedicated to both the fields.
We are three really good friends :) Two of us (Koma & Abi) will be studying this year at Kangan in Broadmeadows. We both love dabbling into a bit of art projects here and there. We also love going for bike rides. As for Christina, well she's a kick back fun person to be around :) She's a hard worker and works at a cafe close by. We all like to go out from time to time. We usually keep to ourselves and like to keep things clean and tidy. We hope to find a nice cosy place for us to live in. Preferably a whole flat rather than a share house if possible. Let us know if you're interested in us by giving us a quick little message. Thanks for reading! :)
My name is Justin, I'm currently stuck out in the middle of nowhere and would like to move somewhere closer to the city. I'm currently unemployed but I used to work at a supermarket and have money saved up to pay rent. I'm very quiet and tidy, chances are you wouldn't know I'm here. However, I'm not totally anti-social, and am not against hanging out. Hope to hear from someone soon!
