Hello all, My name is Claire, I'm a 26 y.o Victorian making the move to Darwin to study teaching. I'm very neat and tidy, respectful of others and their belongings, and as I'll be studying pretty diligently I'll be relatively quiet during uni/work nights, however I'd still be keen to live with people that are social and friendly, who enjoy a drink and catch up over the weekend :) I've lived in share accommodation in Melbourne for 6 years so I know all the ins-and-outs of sharing with others. I'm just looking for a nice, tidy, simple place with housemates similar. I love bike-riding, reading, going for coffee, having a glass of wine at the end of a long day, and visiting the NT National Library is a passion. I'll be studying full time and be working part time, most likely in hospitality.
Hiya :) I'm Marta, looking for flatshare with some cool bunch of people. I am an active and verrry friendly professional, recruiting for a hospitality job in the central area. Just arrived in Darwin for 6 months, after a while of surfing couches gotta finally find my own corner of space. Respectful, clean, happy to hang out with positively energized people, okay not to hang out with the less positive ones :D I like to be a little crazy, so be careful if you are not ready for fun company in the flat. I love sports and dancing, speak Spanish and English fluently, in French and Portuguese communicating ok. Love traveling, went by myself all around South America, learned salsa and gained some cool skills. I have some friends in Darwin but will be happy to hangout after work and make friends. My budget is approx. $180 for a room in the central location, but can negotiate if I love your place:) Get in touch!
I spent the last four years in the Military so I am a very happy, sociable person. I'm very easy to get along with and always keen to find new friends. I am mature and will be respectful of house rules. I would like to find a flatmate(s) that are fairly sociable like me. I am currently studying a part-time Law degree (online) and have decided to do a working holiday in Darwin to explore a different, beautiful country. I love to swim so being close to a pool would be ideal. I intend to move to Darwin in April and find a job immediately. I plan to stay for at least 3 months and up to 1 year if all works out.
Aussie farm girl moving from Victoria for a life style change. I am studying online and will be looking for full time work and a good time up in Darwin. I am relaxed, easy going and a bit of fun to be around. I love sport, love to cook and looooove movie nights but like to let my hair down (very easily persuaded into drinking sessions haha). I am also respectful of other housemates and clean up after myself. I am a pretty social chap, and whilst appreciating personal space, I would love to move into a friendly, happy home. Am not moving up until late May now due to work commitments.
Hey future house-mates, Just looking to share atm, I'm looking for a furnished bedroom with own bathroom and I currently work at CDU. I'm a happy go lucky, respectful and out going person with an easy going sense of humour. I'm very clean and a tidy person looking at renting from now until May at this stage. Must include off street car parking and secure for my baby also. Social drinker - not a massive party animal, I like to just chill at home or meet up with friends every now and then. If anyone is interested in sharing an apartment please let me know as Im going to look at a couple in the City - approx $600 per week for a 3 bedroom - one room each with a spare bedroom. Hope to chat soon and thanks for your time. Regards, Rob
Hello! I'm a 24 year old Canadian/Danish backpacker, who is looking for a place to stay in Darwin. I'm currently looking for a job, and I'll be staying in Darwin till August. I would describe myself as being laidback, clean, and easy to talk to. My interests are sports, travelling and music. Best, Mark
Just moved to Darwin from Scotland to fill an assistant manager position for at least two years, looking for somewhere in or close to the city. (Biking distance) I'll be working full time Monday-Friday and on call most weekends so you probably won't see too much of me throughout the week. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere pretty chill, as with full time work I like being able to come home and relax for a while. Also a balcony or outside space is a must! I'm a clean and organised person who chips in their fair share around the house and You'll always see my smiling! Unless there's no beer then we have a problem... I spend my free time making music, exploring my surroundings and working out, Would love to find a flat mate that likes to go out and do things when they have free time. Male or female and most ages groups are fine with me! 18-40/50 :) Open to staring a new house share or joining an existing one! Animals are cool and I dont mind smokers (I am one for now)
I'm hoping to move from Canberra to the Darwin region for work. :) (unfortunately I do not have a move date as i need to sort some things out with my study but ideally sooner rather than later - April-ish would be preferred but I'll update you :) I'm pretty outgoing, love outdoors, exploring etc but respectful of personal space so I won't be all up in people's faces, especially being new to the area! Tidy, I clean up after myself, keen for a good socialize but also cool with time to myself :) I like yoga, playing guitar, music, sports, art, exploring new places.. I love animals and have a cat but won't move her up with me. Hope to hear back! :)
I am very friendly and easy to get along with, I like socialising but also love having my own personal space too. I am very clean, tidy and organised which I think makes me a great roomie to have! As I am only staying for 4 months, I am looking for a furnished room rather than unfurnished.
I'm from Sydney and will heading up to darwin for work April-August for a change of scene, however it may be longer. Working up to 80 hours a week isn't unusual for myself. I enjoy my career and get to see some great sights and meet some incredible people. I am neat and tidy with good personal hygiene. Partial to quality beers and scotches. I do not smoke, take short showers and firmly believe the toilet paper goes over, not under. I'll be bring my dog Cookie with me, she's impeccably trained (sit, drop, stay, up, down, get out, on your mat, drop....) and won't touch anything she's not meant to including a perfectly cooked ribeye steak on the coffee table. Her breed is closest to an Australian Shepherd. She is an outdoor dog that will only come inside when invited. I currently own a place in Sydney where I am currently letting out a spare room. My current housemate of 18 months can provide a reference if required.
I'm hardly ever home, I'm clean tidy and easy going. I try to live a healthy and fit lifestyle but definitely enjoy a few nice cold beers on the weekends. I have spent a few years working as a chef so know how to whip up a fairly descent feed. All in all I'm a pretty cool Kiwi chick
