As it is above a shop, I am looking for someone quiet (and someone who is really respectful of the lovely shop owners below. The shop closes at approximately 5.30-6pm each night). I am a professional who works full-time in the CBD and I have a small quiet dog that gets dog-sat externally while I am at work every day. There's public transport and off street parking. The room will be unfurnished but the rest of the apartment is good to go. We won't have internet but can get it together. Energy is not included but normally around $200 each every 3 months. Min stay 5 months. 4 weeks rent for the bond. I'm pretty relaxed at home but would appreciate someone who is tidy and willing to pitch in to maintain the communal areas. To me, home is somewhere safe and easy to come back to after a big day at work. I totally respect other's personal space and privacy, but do not want an enigma of a housemate who is holed up in their room all the time, would love a wine or dinner every now and again (: While your friends are welcome visitors, no live in guests for more than a few days at a time. The house is located in Russell Lea and is located a short 5 minute walk from a bus stop to the city. It has a waterfront view overlooking Five Dock Bay. We have tables and chairs set up out the front which are great for BBQs with a view. The park across the road is also great for exercise enthusiasts who enjoy walks in the sun. In regards to the common areas, there is ample living and a large kitchen with a 6 burner gas cook top. You will have your own room. The dimensions are 3060mm wide 3370mm length and is spacious enough to comfortably fit a queen sized bed, a desk, a cupboard, and a bit more on top of that as shown in the pictures. In addition to that, our friend is more than happy to offer his furniture for a price if you require. However, room will be clear if desired. The room is $255 a week (or $510 a fortnight) not including bills. In regards to bills, we split them 4 ways. Cable Internet is Unlimited 25.55 a month and electricity is variant however not generally expensive.
