Hello Future Housemates, I am a father of 2 beautiful kids, a 3 year old boy, Finn that I parent 50% of the time and a 10 year old girl who lives with her mother in Northern NSW. I see her a few times a year. They are both smart and respectful. I work shifts as a rigger and AV technician in the events industry and so often work weekends setting up for parties and corporate events. I also have a start up company that is only 6 months old called Melbourne Custom Batteries. My business partner and I make and repair battery packs mainly for electric bicycles. I would prefer some garage space to setup my workbench. The work isn’t noisy, messy or energy hungry and I do it between my event shifts. We intend to expand into a warehouse space but for the moment, it’s a very small operation. Finn and myself are vegetarians so we would prefer a household that is vegetarian or at least vegetarian friendly. I love to cook and started Australia’s first vegan organic catering business back in the day. Finn and I love music, I DJ and have my own equipment so if you love to dance then we are a good match. I don’t play late at night or loudly. I'm a non-smoker. I'm also a non-drinker but you help yourself, it's just not my cup of tea. I'm not so concerned about consumption but behaviour so enjoy your beverage and I'll enjoy my soy latte. Gardening is one of my passions, growing veggies for dinner without sprays or pesticides. Its great for relieving stress and a lovely activity for kids to be involved in. I have a car and a couple of ebikes which any housemate would be able to use. The ebikes are lots of fun and very useful, no parking issues and no sweat or lycra needed. We are LGBTQI friendly and aware. Gender, age, nationality or whether you have kids or not is unimportant. I just want to live with motivated friendly people who know how to keep a house reasonably clean and functional. I would need one large bedroom for myself and Finn or two smaller rooms. A granny flat would also suit. If you are also looking for a vegetarian home then lets team up and get an amazing house together.
Currently reside in Hobart, but have visited Melbourne a few times. Looks and sounds like a great city to live and reside in. I am currently taking a year off from my University studies to search for other work, study or volunteer opportunities. I wish to travel to further places in the future. I hope somebody can share with me their knowledge of Melbourne, and if they are interested, I can share with them my knowledge of Hobart too.
I'm a 25 year old full time professional that is looking for a friendly place to move into that is closer to my work. I've lived with a variety of people before and respect the privacy and cleanliness of others but also like to socialise. I enjoy being active in my spare time (hiking, gym, snowboarding, yoga) and cooking delicious food! I love a positive and easy going environment and would like to live with someone who shares similar interests and wants to live as friends, not just flatmates. I love animals, going out for a drink and listening to live music on the weekends :) Any questions feel free to contact me.
I'm community oriented, love living with people, sharing meals, games, craft time and conversation. I'm also aware and respectful of my own and others' need for space and time to themselves. I love nature and being outdoors walking, climbing, moving, swimming and sitting; crafting and making and practising bush skills; cooking up a storm; learning and expanding. I'm from Melbourne, grew up in the bayside suburbs, and have travelled and lived in different places before coming back to rediscover home with new eyes. I am studying at the Steiner Seminar in Warranwood, taking the teacher training there, and loving engaging with many different activities and arts, as well as some pretty deep philosophical ponderings. I also travel from time to time, mostly in Vic and NSW, heading out into the bush to teach and learn bush skills and be with friends and community who share that passion.
Just moved from Brissie to accept a job offer in Victoria, looking for a nice quiet place (room with bath&toilet ensuite) to stay after a long day at work, cheers
I am easy going, happy & friendly. Currently working full-time as a Beauty Therapist from Tuesday to Saturday. I am a very neat person & like to socialize with friends on the weekend.
Well for starters i'm easy going, I'm considerate of others, I always clean up after myself and overall, always try to be the best the room mate possible! Right now i'm living out of home and have been for the past year and a half. However, I hope to move on to somewhere new and meet some new people now that my lease is coming to an end. I'm currently Studying Nursing at TAFE. In my spare time I like gardening, photography, fitness, travelling and just chilling with friends. If there is any further details that you wish to know about me feel free to message me.
The house is a modern brick 3 bedroom + study, 2 bathrooms, has solar power, ducted heating (4 star efficiency) & evaporative cooling, backyard-great entertaining area with BBQ, off street parking, nestled in a quiet court location. Chirnside Park and Eastland shopping centre are only a 15 minute drive, with a local shopping strip that is only 5 mins away. As the house is a 3 bedroom dwelling, I am happy for the person to use the 3rd room as a study for themselves inclusive of the $180 a wk rent for the room on offer. There is a reserve at the end of the court with a lake that you can put a canoe on and when you go for a walk there, people mostly give you a warm greeting. Lovely to go and sit there on a bench and ponder the days events. It is furnished i.e. main appliances- cook top, oven, dishwasher which are stainless steel, fridge, microwave, washing machine, 42" flat screen with Netflix. However, if you have some furniture there is space for it. I am only looking to rent out one of the rooms, so you would really have your own bathroom and toilet. There are no onerous house rules, keep it tidy, come and go as you please like I do! Have just re-signed the lease for another 12 months, so provides stability for the right person.
I am looking for somewhere I can live and keep 1 horse. I am easy going, have 6+ years rental history in Toorak and Camberwell. Max 300/week. Don't have a move date- flexible.
I have 2 teenage children with me, 50 % of the time. Would love to share with someone in a similar situation. I'll write more when I feel there is any hope at all of something out there - think that maybe there is little likelyhood of someone being in a comparable situation?
Hi there, I'm looking for a place to live independently or with up to two other people, preferably women of similar age/maturity and non-smokers. Prefer rent to be inclusive of utilities and internet. Prefer en suite bathroom ideally but flexible. I am honest, reliable and will pay rent on time. I work 9 to 5, sometimes work from home. I am social but enjoy alone time too. I am respectful of others. I enjoy the outdoors, bike riding, markets, cafes. Would like to live close to parklands, bike tracks. Prefer not to live with pets, especially not cats...sorry cat lovers! Any questions, please ask. Happy to have a chat! Cheers, Andrea. I also have my own bedroom furniture that I would like to use. I have other furniture also, happy to share to establish a new home or if storage is available that would be great!

I'm very independent and work part time but will be working full time by the time I move out. I also study Biomedical Science and would prefer to live in a female only house.

I'm a 23 year old male, working full time in the city and looking for a place close to my family and friends.
