I am a 26 year old health professional. Relocating in late February 2019 Clean & easy going. I enjoy the occasional drink / social night but mostly keep to myself. Keen outdoor adventurer (mostly hiking) and just starting to get into bouldering. Looking for a house that feels like a home; preferably within 15-20minute drive of Hobart (bonus points for mountain views!)
I'm Tassie born and raised, looking to rent out a place around Warrane/Mornington/Bellerive and other near by locations. I work a lot at later hours as a bartender but i start studying at Uni soon also. I spend a decent chunk of time cooking and staying in shape too but I always make time to see friends/family, I usually like to get to know housemates and hang out but i also like a decent amount of alone time and i'm fairly busy sometimes so you get the best of both worlds. I'm also more interested in pet friendly houses as i want to take the family border collie (he's about 10 years old) with me, loves other dogs/cats so other pets aren't an issue, he's also friendly to those he knows and will become very protective of his family. Feel free to message me about team ups, whether you would like to be on a lease or express interest of moving in after i secure a place, cheers. - Keygan
Hello, My friend and I are both looking for somewhere to live. We are both friendly, reliable and clean people who both have jobs. We are both current students at the University of Tasmania and will therefore often be out of the house, especially to travel down to Port Arthur (where our current jobs are). We absolutely adore pets, so it will definitely not be an issue if you have a pet of some form (though a spider may be a little bit of an issue for one of us). We are happy to provide additional information for you if you so require. We hope you consider us.
From the kitchen, you have a decent view right down to Selfs Point that almost perfectly faces the sunset. There's undercover parking for two cars, I have two cars but currently only use one spot and keep my other car out in the rain. There is a giant building block down the back of the property that I've never used, it's all grass - perfectly suitable for the next Australia Day Big Bash League. I don't use much room in the house - so you'll have a large bedroom and the entire loungeroom to yourself if you wish. There is also a powered room under the house, perfect for storage or you can throw a couch/pool table in there and have some fun (provided your friends aren't too tall!) The garden has some potential to be nice but I'm not particularly good with it. Internet is currently through Launtel at $80/month and is 50mbps NBN - we've never had an issue with it. The heat pump works very effectively in both summer and winter, power bills are roughly $300/qtr (we've been paying $50 each a fortnight and have a decent credit built-up so far)
Hi, I'm a 26 year old from Queensland and I'm moving to Hobart to start a full time job in government. I'm generally very easy going and relaxed. I'm just as happy hanging out and socializing as I am hiding away in my room. In my free time I like to read, watch movies, play video games or socialize. I'm also looking to get outside and explore Tasmania a bit once I get settled. I have plenty of experience in a share house environment from my uni days and I'm a flexible and courteous housemate.
We're a clean, quiet and drama-free couple looking to rent in Hobart! We've recently moved from Queensland so my wife can begin studying at UTAS and I can start working in labour hire. I love to skateboard and my wife enjoys gymnastics and learning! We're looking for a space to call home for a while and some good people to call friends.
Hey, I’m Taleesha (tend to go by TK more than anything) and I’m 19! Currently Launceston residing but a change of circumstances is requiring me to make the move to Hobart! I’m currently unemployed as I’m hoping to land a job down south as there are more opportunities available (hence the move as well as a lease expire). May 8th would be the latest I’d be looking to move so hoping to move somewhere before then. I’m an easy going gal, I love a good time but I also enjoy some down time. I’m respectful of others space and needs but always willing to hang out and bond whenever. I’m a responsible and honest person, I love mellowing to some acoustic music, always up for a chat and giving some advice! I’m looking for a place that’s LGBTQ+ friendly as that is something super important to me. Somewhere close to the city and where I can reside for 12 months or more would be ideal.
30 year old male who has just moved to Hobart to start an apprenticeship. I am looking for a couple of people to teamup with to rent a house. I currently have some shot stay accommodation sorted for myself but am looking for something more permanent. My partner and our two dogs will be coming down later in the year, she is a science teacher who is finishing term 1 in NSW before making the move south. looking for one or two people or couples who would be willing to share a house with me and later in the year my partner and our dogs as well. I consider myself an easy going and laid back person, with no problems in keeping a clean and tidy house. I enjoy camping, hiking, going on motorbike rides and photography. If this sounds like something you might be interested in let me know and we could start searching for a house! Any questions let me know! Thanks.
Looking for a potential house mate or two to share a house with. I work full time in marketing. A sports fan. In my spare time I am likely to be either at the gym (crossfit), at netball or spending time with family and friends. I like being organised and on top of things. Can move earlier or later. Also interested in 6 month leases.
I'm a 36 year old single, easy going and tidy guy. I enjoy others company as well as my own. Respectful of others space, and am used to living with other people. I love my sport (AFL, cricket, basketball etc) and music is my passion. Looking for a quiet, relaxing and friendly place to live, with either males or females.
I pick up after myself, respect other people's privacy and most importantly fun to live with!
Hey! I have relocated to Hobart from Melbourne a few months ago & am looking for a more permanent place to rent. Happy to take on a new lease. During the week, I am mostly working, dodging gym or watching a TV show after work. I like to get up early, do my meal prep on the weekends, and being a slob on Sundays. Pretty considerate about others’ privacy and hope my future housemate/s are the same. Easy going otherwise, so I’d be more than happy to chill on the weekends, have the occasional beer after work. Feel free to shoot me a message if you’d like to look at places together or have a room at your place you’d like to rent out.
Hey I'm Jared. I am in my final of year of a PhD in environmental science. I spend my free time running, hiking, or reading and drawing. I work a retail job on the side of my studies to keep a little extra coming in each week. My first preference is to find a room in a sharehouse (unfurnished), but if you think we may get along, I'm happy to look for properties with others too. I'm not in an urgent rush just yet, but I need to find a new place by March 2019. I require a medium-large room due to having a large desk. Hoping to find a place under $200 a week, but flexible too. I'm not one to go out partying, so I would prefer a quieter household. I have no problems with a social house though!
After two years around Australia, I landed in the beautiful Hobart where I will study for two years leadership and management. I previously studied chemistry in Italy and did research in lab. Now I'm here to study management. I have many interests, I like hiking, wine tasting, dance, fishing.
Very busy with work so hardly ever home but when I am, I’m a very clean person who likes a chat but also like to have my own quiet time. I umpire sports so keep quite busy on the weekends. Enjoy a quiet wine or gin.
Hey, I'm currently at the bridge center in New Town completing the residential rehab program.. I'm writing a new chapter in my life and require accommodation for when I graduate the program.. I plan to study/work, I'm clean, polite and useful :)
Hi my name is Andrew, I'm moving down to Hobart from Melbourne to start my new job at CSIRO after finishing my engineering degree. Outside of work I like to keep active by playing sports and being in the outdoors (fishing, camping etc), although I keep active I don't mind staying in and watching netflix and playing video games. Looking for a place/room for 6 months until my probation passes.
Respectful quiet and love to cook and spend time out and about on weekends I'm not a party animal I like the gym and work as a support worker with community based support Tasmania part time can pay up to 200 a week if it is suitable
Hi There ! I'm Fred, an easy going, clean and tidy french mate in his fifties, coming to Tassie in order to learn about winemaking. I currently live in Sydney. I'll be working 6 days a week. Passionate about wine, but also photography (landscape) hence my choice to come to Tasmania. Cheers

Hey my name is Siobhan and I'm a 28 year old graphic designer. Designing is my primary passion and what I spend most of my waking hours doing and thinking about. I'm also a big fan of coffee and tending to my small collection of outdoor succulents. I'm hoping I can take my espresso machine and plant babies with my to my new home. :) I am quiet and tend to keep to myself but I'm down for a good discussion over coffee or a beer if anyones up for it. I'm looking for a room to squish my bed and desk into, I'm happy as long as I can close the door and be in my own space. I don't mind who I live with as long as everyone is responsible for themselves. I've been managing a group house for 3 years and I'm not interested in being a house mum or a mediator. :) if anyone wants any more details feel free to contact me.
