Hi people! I'm a 28 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious, hardworking and a total professional but most of all fun to be around over a beer, some buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! I'm also well travelled having lived in New York for just over a year. If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
I'm Brad, I'm a 33 year old, work in sales full time, looking to share or team up to find a place. I'm easy going, don't drink often, don't smoke, and honestly like to keep pretty busy so won't be sitting around the house all the time. I have two cats, both toilet trained and friendly. Send me a message if you want any more info. Cheers.
Hey all! My name is Hollie and I'm looking for some roommates or a house to live in ASAP! I'm 19, currently working for the GC titans but looking to move to Brissy, I'm heaps of fun and love a drink or two! I'm a really clean person and super laid back! Looking for some people to make my new friends and show me around Brisbane! I'm interested in most suburbs so just swing me a message 😊
I am an easy going, spiritually minded musician and I work as a barista to pay the bills. In my spare time I like to chill out at home and play bass or listen to music, I'm always down to hang out and have a chat and I'm happy keeping to myself too. I'd like to find a place with some down to earth like minded individuals, with somewhere safe and secure to set up my music gear. I'm not looking for a party house, because of my job I am up quite early in the morning and head to bed early too. But that said I don't mind making a bit of noise during the day, with consideration for my fellow housemates of course.
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room).
My name is Katie and I'm 23, I work full time in retail. I moved from Cairns to Brisbane and have been living on the south side for a little over a year but I now want to move to the north as I'm sick of commuting. I'm a bit of a Coffee snob, I enjoy good food, wine, cheese platters and Netflix binge sessions with housemates. I am friendly, out going and tidy and also considerate of personal space. I keep common areas clean and tidy and love Candles! On my days off I enjoy sleeping in or adventuring on the Gold Coast and trying out new cafes. I have a fridge, TV, lounge, table and chairs, washing machine and an outdoor table setting. Thanks!
Hi, well my name is Renae and im 31 years of age. I have an 11 year old daughter that would be staying with me every second weekend but will also visit in between. I am a smoker. I am on the disability pension due to my mental health but dont let that scare you as its mainly severe anxiety. Anyways im usually pretty quiet and keep to myself. im very shy when it comes to people.
MOVE IN DATE: i dont know when to move in, i have to give my landlord 2 weeks notice if i was to move in, but yeah, i just put that date bc i didnt know what to put I'm just looking for a good place that allows pets, my cat is 2 years old, hes a pretty boy, loves sleeping and most of them he is never actually near or in the house, he loves to go out and explore. he is not desexed yet, which i will most likely be getting him desexed next week after 23rd of august. Im neat, clean, tidy, i like to have things clean and im always quiet. my life consists of sleeping in bed on days off or going out to the shops with my friends, not a party person, only go out occasionally for like a celebration or somewhat of the sort. I'm currently in a place right now which i moved in just a few weeks ago, but things have happened and i need to bring my cat down from sunshine coast and he has no where to go, and the place im in, doesnt allow cats, dogs only, so yeah. LGBT+: im lgbt+ friendly if anyone was wondering
Trustworthy, honest, clean living, non-smoker. Enjoy cooking, socialising. Relocated from Darwin NT, after 50 years & working 22 years for State Government. Working full time Federal Government. Enjoy walking, swimming, going to the gym.
I am a young 44 y/old. Good sense of humour, friendly, quiet, clean & tidy. I'm a full-time teacher. I don't mind hanging out for a chat with my housemate, but also respect their quiet time. I love heaps of outdoor activities (mountain climbing, abseiling, stand up paddle boarding, bike riding, walking) & hope to get into these a bit more. I treat the home & furniture as if it was my own & am very clean & tidy. I don't have a lot of people over to the house & tend to go out to socialise.
Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 29, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house :) Looking to move anytime over the next few months, no rush but happy to do it asap if i was to find the right roomy :) I'm looking to live preferably on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc), but would also consider the Northside :) Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, it's really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! :) My boy is 9 years old, so if you like playing xbox you guys will be best buds lol He's a good kid, looks after things, helps around the house, is pretty easy going and quiet to live with :) We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol :) so cute! (she also gets along well with other animals) So, I'm looking for another person to get a house with. You'll need to be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. If you've already got a place and think I'd be suitable to move in there that'd also work :) I have all of the furniture a house requires, which includes a big corner leather lounge with a chase and recliner, tv, dining, fridge, washing machine, dryer etc as well as all the little things like cutlery, microwave, cups etc etc :) So I couldnt really move into somewhere that was fully furnished already. I'd prefer a house rather than a unit coz thatd be too squishy. It would also need to have a lock up garage (preferably 2 car garage) so our cars can be in there as I dont want to leave mine on the street or outside incase of hail etc :) Ideally the house would need to have at least 3 bedrooms coz I need my own space too and I dont want to be crammed into the same room with my son lol so I'd have one, he'd have one and you'd have the other one/two etc :) I'd also be keen for a few drinks on a Friday or Saturday night sometimes to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol Anyhoo, hope to hear from you soon to organise a day to meet up and see if we connect :)
Hi I'm Anita and I'll be moving to Brisbanes inner north on or around the 30th August. I'm a 25 year old child care educator and I'm moving closer to work in Gordon Park. Im clean, tidy and like to relax after work. I do babysitting/nanny work some weekends and evenings. I have a small 11 year old jack russel and two small birds. I'm not looking to rent a unit or flat as my dog needs a yard. I'll be renting: - a 3-4 bedroom house with a decent sized enclosed back yard - a pet friendly property with a small/medium dog or a cat considered - somewhere close to public transport and amenities I will be supplying: - Fridge, microwave, coffee machine and everything required for a kitchen - 6 seater dining table - TV, Netflix and lounge furniture - Washing machine - Unlimited internet - Bedroom furniture for one housemate if required - double ikea bed, bedside table, clothes rack or portable wardrobe, large study desk I'm looking for a housemate that: - Can pay $150 - $200 per week (inc internet and supplied bedroom furniture if needed) - The real estate may require you to pay bond and sign the lease - Is tidy, fun and friendly
Hi Myself and my very well behaved 17yr old cat are looking for a nice place to live, preferably in the inner northern suburbs - I work full time in as a retail store manager at Chermside. I'd love to find a house (not a flat or apartment) with air-conditioning, good internet, and hopefully a bit of extra space for activities. Ideally I want to team up with 2 - 3 people to get a nice place and cheapen the rent. I've put down inner north suburbs, if there is one close I haven't listed just assume its cool Im very tidy, considerate and the last share house I was in years ago I still am friends with them so i must be ok ha.
25 year old full time educator looking to live close to my work at wavell heights. Happy fun loving person, spends my weekends catching up with friends, lives a healthy lifestyle. Would like to meet someone around the same age. I'm a clean house mate who loves to cook and will always clean up after myself. Responsible, Doesn't smoke, single with no kids or pets. Has own bedroom furniture, tv and a couch if needed. Looking for a place to call home :)
Hi potential roomies, my name is Kristen and my new house mate Abbie and I are looking for a third house mate to rent a house in North Brisbane! A bit about me: I'm 24 years old, I am a bookkeeper, admin assistant and wedding stylist (3 different jobs lol) and am also studying Business (Accounting) at QUT. I have a fur baby named Chester who just loves people and is generally inside when I am home. I lead a very busy life, so home is my haven where I like to relax and unwind. I also study and do bookkeeping at home so while I like having friends over occasionally, I don't want to live in a party house or be constantly cleaning up after my house mates. I have formed great friendships with my two previous roomies (who were once strangers from flatmates.com!) so I'd like to actually get along with my house mates rather than just being strangers living under the same roof. I am bubbly and love to have a chat, but also respect others' privacy. Abbie is 28, works in Finance and will also be studying Accounting at QUT next year. She is into yoga, hiking and cooking and is looking to get a puppy in the next few months which is exciting! We are both like-minded, respectful of others, appreciate a clean house and would love to find a third house mate that fits that dynamic. What I'm looking for: I currently rent a place in Kallangur, but I am wanting to move closer to the city when my lease ends in September, which is when Abbie's lease also ends. We are looking around Windsor/Lutwyche area, but definitely open to other locations, as long as it is close to a train station. I have most things required to set up a house (fridge, washing machine etc), so you'd really just need to bring your bedroom furniture (but if you have other household items I'm sure we can find room for them). Thanks for reading! Please send me a message if this sounds like something you'd be interested in. I look forward to hearing from you :)
This inviting three bedroom cement rendered home has been freshly painted throughout with beautiful polished timber floors in an elevated street. It features high ornate ceilings which encapsulate the period charm of this renovated beauty. This home also boasts a separate study off the lounge. Your bedroom will not be furnished. New kitchen with electric cooking, ceramic cook top and stainless steel oven. Plenty of cupboard and bench space. Just off the kitchen is a large internal laundry. The bathroom has also been renovated. Another charming characteristic continues outdoors with a large covered entertainment area which will be sure to please when entertaining family and friends. Fully fenced, single lock up garage and garden shed. Please note I am looking for a long term flatmate here of 12 months plus. I am a 34 year old professional who is very much a home body. Bond is required which includes 2 x week rent ($440) and 1 weeks rent in advance. Foxtel and broadband internet is $18 per week. Electricity to be paid once bill arrives and usage advised. 5 minute walk to strip shops which include 24 hour gym, convenience store, post office, chemist + more. 5 minute walk to bus stop. Short drive to both Westfield Chermside and Toombul Shopping centre. 30+ preferred- any gender. LGBT friendly. Please message me if you have genuine interest. Katherine
Great location - both shopping centers and bus are easy walk. Older style timber house on massive block of land with old established trees provide a great view from the 11 mts roofed balcony at rear of the house. House rules apply but nothing dramatic - based on common courtesy and consideration for others and the property.
A charming (says me) granny flat hidden in suburban Wavell heights. Close enough to everything to be convenient but far enough away that it's nice and quiet at night. By car it's about 20 mins to get into the city, about the same to get to the airport. 322 bus stop across the road, 320 around the corner and a 15 min walk to Nundah station. Loads of parking available on the street. The living room/kitchen is big, open and full of sunlight, both the bedrooms open onto it. My old laptop can be hooked up to the tv in the living room and netflix used on it. The apartment has wifi. The layout of the place encourages socialising so it is quite important that we get along (and that you get along with the main man, Marvin).

Have a three bedroom house which has two rooms spare one is really only big enough to be a bedroom the other is semi vacant at the moment. House has large kitchen and living rooms, bedroom is big and has heaps of cupboard space, youll have to share a bathroom with myself. There are two dogs here so have to be a dog lover. There is a large undercover space out the back for BBQ's and stuff. Other guy lives in the granny flat out back and only comes in rarely to use the kitchen and such. Any questions or want to view the place please let me know.!!!
This property is right near Nundah Village with access to the train, busses, gym, shops, restaurants and weekend markets. It is a fully furnished unit, bedroom included. The whole place is airconed. BBQ on the veranda. Unlimited internet and netflix is included in the rent. It has a small grassed courtyard area for if you're wanting to get some fresh air. There is an option to apply for pets to the body corporate. Sorry I only have pics of the place before I moved in but can send you some through if interested.
This lovely house is a 12 minute walk to the Chermside shopping center, which is where you will also find a lot of buses. There is also bus stops closer all around. The house is very spacious which is great! the backyard is killer, there is even room for a potential veggie garden. Most people in the house are wanting to move on when the lease ends, but you could take it over with your own pals, the possibilities are endless.
