Modern build (2010), well insulated and efficient to heat and cool. Undercover drying and hangout area, also a deck facing paddock and bush. The kitchen and living areas will be mostly (but minimally) furnished, the bedrooms not. On the bus route to the CBD and about 10 mins by bike along the Rivulet track (no traffic). Photos to come soon, and rooms available in the next few days once the furniture is in. Two rooms available, around the $160 or $170/wk mark, sizes to be confirmed tonight. Housemate 1- Outdoors orientated, left leaning, green trending, well travelled and spoken (at times). Music not TV, arthouse over commercial, home cooked not fast food. Late 30s carpenter/builder, well house trained, concientious and considerate. I adore Tassie, and thrive getting out into it. I make and do, rather than longue and 'lax Housemate 2 and 3 - that's you! 27 to 50 years old, preferably a 6-8 month stayer. Someone that is reliable, clean, respectful, and flexible. Spanish speakers get bonus points. This is a no TV house, only films and docos hit the screen! If you share some of the above interests and values, write a quick bio and I'll get back to you for a chat/meet. No bio, no further:):) Regards Quinn
I'm a 21 year old part time medical receptionist in Hobart and student nurse at UTAS! Currently living inconveniently far from the city (a casual 50km), so I think its time to plant some roots a little closer to civilization (or at least I'm hoping to!). I'm a super neat and tidy person who is considerate and respectful of all communal spaces in the house! I love to socialise but also enjoy my down time. Would love to join an existing house with like-minded people and possibly make a couple more friends in the process!
Very quiet & respectful. Work full time mostly night shifts, no kids and very clean
Firstly, I would like a place where I have my own PRIVATE room, as I'm rather antisocial and like to have my own space. I'm also a gamer, and would be fine with paying for internet bills. I would also like to be able to have my partner visit from time to time, as I haven't been able to find a place for myself :(

Hi! My name is Bernadette, but you can call me Bernie. I am bubbly, friendly and outgoing, but I also enjoy having quiet down-time when necessary! I'm quite a busy person as I'm studying to be a teacher and working part-time in schools. I'm looking for either a share-house or someone to share with! I like cleaning and keeping my house tidy! My hobbies include going for jogs, playing the clarinet, spending time with my friends, travelling the world and just enjoying life to the fullest. If you think I'm the right fit for you, please message me! :)
I have a room available for rent. House is located in Glenorchy, an off street from barrossa rd Lenah Valley end. House is in a shared area, 10 villa units and is located right at the back. It is a nice quiet and private location. Parking next to the house. The room itself is the down stairs area which consists of a 'living area' (6mx3m) can have a couch, tv and table set up, large bedroom and a walk-in robe. Area has electric heating and its own door access. The house will be a shared kitchen, toilet, bathroom and laundry. Yard is a good size and fenced so will be open to considering pets. Ideally I would like someone employed, neat and tidy and like minded. open to ages up to 35. I would like someone who would use the area down stairs as their own living space, so utilise being able to have a couch ect. It is my hom not a rental. If you think that it would suit you, send me an email telling me about yourself. Please include age, gender, what you do for work/study ect. Interests, hobbies, usual working hours. Life style, ie homebody, party ect if you have a pet. and any questions you may have Thanks
Hi there! We are Grant, Alex and Stacey, a 27 and 24-year-old guy and girl who are clean, easy going and looking for a like-minded person to join our home. We live in a sunny four-bedroom house located off Augusta road in Lenah Valley (it’s about a 10-minute drive from the city centre). The available room is large size with a walk in wardrobe and private deck. The house is fully furnished (the room is not), with a veggie garden and off the street parking. Great deck with wonderful views and clean, fresh space, open plan kitchen and easy going vibe. Very scenic home and you will be living with outdoorsy people, who love cooking, social and quiet vibes. There is a large garden, deck and views of the mountains and water from all over the property. The house is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with lots of street parking available. Location is great as quiet streets into Town and round the other corner from North Hobart with Moonah and Glenorchy shopping centres nearby. The home is North facing with lots of natural light and great warmth. Large Room is also going to be available soon which is ideal for a couple who enjoy socialising as well as their own space ($270/wk). Also suitable for individuals ($210/wk) Best for people with their own car, but public transport is an 8min walk away with buses to town every 30min
Yo! Just having a peak on here for the not too distant future. I moved to Hobart in April after a death in the family, so I'm currently living a bit further out than is ideal but soon enough it will be time to fly the coop and begin afresh! I have lived in Brisbane, Melbourne and now Hobart all within the space of 14 months, and have oodles of share housing experience from the past 10+ years. When the time is right I'm hoping to find decent sized dwelling to house my wares and trinkets with some other artistic/creative types. I'm 32 and I'm just getting into the groove of being in new place at the moment. My most recent job in Melbourne was teaching guitar at a grammar school, so with any luck I'll ultimately get to go back to that sort of work. I didn't get a chance to start a masters in Melbourne, but am adamant about starting a masters of music next year, which I intend to do very slowly! Despite being a musician I'm pretty quiet in all aspects, but most definitely friendly and enjoy good house hangs/chats. I do like to spend a fair bit of time to myself, drinking tea and listening to podcasts, burning incense, reading, or just noodling away on some music, watching netflix, the normal sort of stuff. I do love a tipple, though I'm not likely to fall through the front door every weekend. Always on time with rent and bills, courteous and clean without being a fascist. looking for similar minded folk.

I'm a 19 year old full-time student at UTAS, I'm doing a Bachelor of General Studies (Arts) Pathway. I am also currently looking for work. I generally keep to myself and I'm a pretty laid back person. I spend most of my time at Uni or in my room. I would preferably like somewhere that doesn't mind visitors as I would like my boyfriend to be able to visit me once a week or so. I am a quiet person but I also enjoy conversations with others. I have basic cooking skills and I am a clean & tidy person.
Full time journalist who just landed a new role in Hobart. Would love somewhere central and close to the CBD, but willing to fit in with the right housemate! Easy going & neat guy, who enjoys a nice balance between social and solo time, and also likes to keep fit.
I've got a steady full time job. I'm happy, very neat and tidy, active, love living in the city but also love the outdoors, love to cook and enjoy a good garden. Im 20 but am very mature and driven (still good fun though) I work for a company based out in Cambridge that provides training and support to high risk work in industry such as work at heights and in confined spaces. When I'm not at work I spend lots of time rock climbing both indoors and out. Love the guitar and enjoy a good pub. I'm looking for a house close enough to the city to ride, with a half decent kitchen maybe a garden to grow some vegetables and relax in but most importantly with kind, clean, respectful and sociable housemates.
An incoming UTAS graduate student, I enjoy fun and insightful conversations and outdoor activity (sports, treks, etc). I'll selfishly boast as well that I can strike a chord with absolutely anyone. Look forward!
Hey I study full time and work in town :-). Pretty easy going. Down for vino nights and chilling out Graduating in Dec, so not sure where I'll end up next year in terms of states.... chuck us a message if keen for a team up or for me to join your lil family
