We have a room available in our beautiful Queenslander. The property is very spacious with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms between the main house and a separate Bungalow in the backyard. The house has great character with plenty of doors & windows to catch the breezes and it's been fully renovated so it has all the modern features too. It's nicely furnished with tropical asian style furniture, great kitchen with stainless steel appliances, front verandah with hammock & day bed etc, back deck with dining table, and it's surrounded by tropical gardens. West End is a suburb backing onto Castle Hill. It's an older suburb so it has lots of beautifully renovated "Queenslander" homes and established trees etc. It's close to the City & Strand (5 mins drive), 1 block to walking tracks on Castle Hill, and 2 blocks to major shopping centre "Castletown". The room has lovely high ceilings with a sash window opening onto the front verandah, french doors opening to an enclosed verandah, and main door opening to the hallway. It's fully furnished with quality hardwood furniture including a queen sized bed with pillow top mattress, study desk and chair, bedside table, built-in wardrobe with sliding mirrored doors, a bookshelf, and a chest of drawers. It also has a split system air-conditioner & ceiling fan. We also have a cleaner, gardener, and unlimited wireless NBN internet.
23 years old, moving up from Brisbane for work. I've lived in both Australia and Texas. Friendly and easygoing, doesn't party and prefers quieter weekends. I'll keep the apartment clean and I'll only be in Townsville three days a week so most of the time the apartment will be pretty quiet. I like to read and dance and explore cities. I've lived in apartments with others before in Uni and know how to share space. Only looking to room with other girls.
Large master bedroom with fantastic views, private bathroom, aircon, internet (on top of rent), fully furnished kitchen/living room/outdoor area/laundry. Room can be furnished on request for a small increase in rent! Can see Castle Hill walking tracks from the back window, 2min drive/5min walk from town, close to Strand Fitness/Snap gyms and walking distance to the new stadium and V8 track
Out going, easily adaptable person, love to meet new people. I am a relatively new local to Townsville and currently studying (not at JCU) and working part time. Hit the books pretty hard during the week but always up for the some banter, adventure and beverages on the weekend :))))) Currently living in a share house in northward, moving due to end of lease. Looking for a place close to down town, ideally in 2 weeks but am flexible. I am a light packer so looking for a furnished room if possible.
Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Belgian Gardens. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)

Hi there my name is Frank and I am a very down to earth genuine and easy to get on with. I work full-time and am financially stable..I am a non drinker and non smoker but don't mind the social outings from time to time when I am not working. I live a clean lifestyle. My down time away from work is spent with my camera as photography is a hobby I am very passionate about. I live a reasonably active lifestyle and enjoy the great outdoors walking and biking etc. I spend time away from the Ville usually back on the Gold Coast where I will eventually return to live pending where my work opportunities takes me. Please don't hesitate to touch base to ask any further questions.

Hey, my names Angie. I'm an English, I moved to Townsville for work in the youth sector and looking at somewhere to stay. I do work shift work so some nights I wouldn't be there due to sleep over shifts. I'd say I'm quite an easy going lass and can generally get on well with everyone. I don't mind a night out, a few friends over for a bottle of wine or just a night in reading a book. Interests: fitness, rock music, gaming, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, adventures, hikes, castle hill etc Looking at finding a nice, modern place with a good view from the balcony and a pool.

I've just made the leap back across the pond from London and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I work in the city in Law Admin during the week and like to spend weekends exploring the Townsville surroundings. I like to keep school nights rather tame and will talk about doing the hill or keeping fit more than I will. Have been in share houses for years and respect the balance of house dinners with a wine or two and wanting your own space
I am moving back to Townsville in December after 3 years in Brisbane. Prior to that, I rented out the rooms in my home to between 3 and 5 International Uni Students for 8 years from 2007 to 2015. I lived with them also and it was the most amazing experience. I am looking for accomodation in North Ward, Annandale or Douglas. I work full time in Aged Care and in the Disability Sector. I am an artist, quite, non smoker, am into fitness and swimming.
I work full-time, Monday to Friday and also study part time at uni. I'm a pretty relaxed go with the flow kinda person. Would prefer a place with people who are happy to have chat every so often. I do not have any pets.
I work a fairly demanding corporate job so am always out of the house between 8am and 8pm. Love to run, swim and enjoy a coffee. I'm not home a lot, but prefer to listen to music and read a book when I am. I come with a Netflix and Stan subscription and a pretty relaxed attitude to life. Looking for fellow young professionals who get that sometimes a career focus means that Fridays can be drinks at the brewery, or can just as easily be editing spreadsheets until midnight...
Hi there! I recently quit my full-time HR job to go traveling and am now moving up to Townsville to pursue the Marine Science dream at JCU in 2019. I will be studying full time, working part-time and like to keep myself busy with diving, gym, photography etc. I'm fairly social but also like my own space. I'm looking to live with some people that I might eventually call friends. Love animals! Bringing a car too.
Clean, respectful, happy to have a chat and hang out but also happy to be a bit of a recluse. Interests in music, art, travel and hiking. In my spare time I'll be going for walks, watching netflix or doing pilates. I counteract the positive effects of exercise with red wine and chocolate - got to keep the balance. I'll be working full time as an Audiologist so will be busy during the week, and on weekends I'm hoping to explore Townsville and its surrounds when I have the energy. My partner will also come up from Brisbane every couple of months to visit.
