Hi! I’ll be moving down to Hobart at the start of March, working as a Technician. For the last 17 years I’ve been living on the Gold Coast, but I originally grew up on a Farm in S.A. I’m a pretty decent cook, enjoy learning (anything and everything), and looking forward to exploring all of what Tassy has to offer. Clean and easy going. I’d be happy doing a Team up with the right person :)
Self employed musician and working in education. Father of one and have part custody of my daughter. Able to assist in chores around the place and friendly. I do practice on a regular basis and this is kept to a very low level.
Looking for a potential house mate or two to share a house with. I work full time in marketing. A sports fan. In my spare time I am likely to be either at the gym (crossfit), at netball or spending time with family and friends. I like being organised and on top of things. Can move earlier or later. Also interested in 6 month leases.
I am looking to find a place to stay for longer term. I am based in Hobart but I am planning to move to another new place in March along . I am working full time as an engineer and love to cook , go on adventures and sports. More than happy to team up with someone for a new accommodation. Let me know if you want to team up.

I'm a very tidy, friendly, social, peaceful, and easy going person and will be working full time over there in IT. Please message or call me on 0403053904 if anything is available. Thanks very much
Hello there!! My name is Helen and I am a primary school teacher! It will be my first year as a teacher so looking for housemates who will be understanding and supportive. I wouldn’t mind living with people who are a similar age to myself. I am a super organised and clean person who takes pride in always being kind to others. I have 2 years old fur baby called Cora. She is a Kelpie X psycho! She loves sleeping and belly rubs. I love getting out and about but also love to chill out and relax at home. I enjoy baking! Although may not always be the best at it but hey! It’ll make you laugh.
I pick up after myself, respect other people's privacy and most importantly fun to live with!
ROOM ONLY AVAILABLE FROM START OF JUNE 2019 Looking for the right person for our home - flatmate will be chosen that suit the current people living here. Room ONLY for INDIVIDUAL. Furnishings included, internet =$10/month, bills split. Come stay in our beautiful, relaxed, clean home! Great deck with wonderful views of the Northern suburbs, Derwent River, MONA and Mount Wellington. A clean, fresh space, open plan kitchen and easy going atmosphere. Very scenic from all over the home and you will be living with relaxed, tidy people, who love cooking, social and quiet vibes. All rooms are of a good size. North facing with lots of natural light, great warmth and with an Indoor fireplace to keep away any chills during Winter; heaters in all rooms. The house is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with lots of street parking available. Location is great as quiet streets into Town through Lenah Valley and round the other corner from North Hobart with Moonah and Glenorchy shopping centres nearby. Best for people with their own car, but public transport is an 8min walk away with buses to town every 30min
Hi, I'm leaving my current house anytime before March 1st and would either like to join an established share house or apply for 2 bedroom places with 1 other person anywhere from Margate to New Town. (NB: I have lovely old male cat). I am open-minded, green-minded, in my 40s, love music, like questioning the status quo, and care about people and the world we live in :-). Would live with more than 1 person in right house, but if getting new place prefer just one.
After two years around Australia, I landed in the beautiful Hobart where I will study for two years leadership and management. I previously studied chemistry in Italy and did research in lab. Now I'm here to study management. I have many interests, I like hiking, wine tasting, dance, fishing.
Matt and I have recently moved to Tassie and are looking for a pup friendly home for ourselves and our handsome boy Cosmo. We are both friendly but not party animals. We enjoy watching Netflix, playing PC games and going on small hikes with Cosmo. We don't mind the occasional board game either. We are very tidy and ensure to keep a clean living space. Cosmo is a cattledog x staffy (x kelpie?) who is 3 years old and very cuddly and well behaved. You would need to really like pups as he is super affectionate and it may annoy someone who doesn't like pups. Matt is going to study Nursing this year and is currently looking for part-time / casual work. Lily is working full-time in retail currently so is mainly just home at night and on the weekends. Enjoys creating art, cooking tasty vegan snacks, gardening and buying plants. We would ideally like to do a team up with another person or couple with similar interests. Please get in touch if you think we could team up as we have found an amazing home in Lenah Valley.
My name is Kevin I live an active healthy lifestyle, love the outdoors and getting out in the wilderness. I trail run, hike, yoga, gym and I'm always up for something new. I work full time in the Hobart area, I have my own transport and I like a clean household. I do have a dog named Fergus who will be staying with me.
I am in my early thirties. Quite, neat and tidy. Mostly I stay busy studying and working. Also I would like to catch up with flatmates and never mind a little chat. I love animals, so I do not have any problems with pets. Non smoker.
Full Time Physiotherapist looking for a place to move in close to Hobart. Usually work a lot during the week and try to chill out after work. Don't mind having a bit of a chat but can keep to myself as well. Love watching sport, putting on some Netflix and playing my PS4 whenever I get free time.
Hi everyone! My name is Wes. I am a health professional recently moved to Tas from the mainland. I have years of house sharing experience in both Canberra and Adelaide and I am happy to provide reference if needed. A little bit about myself: I love being outdoor and usually spend my weekends doing outdoorsy stuff. But I also enjoy night-in watching movies/Netflix at home during the week. I would consider myself an easy-going and considerate person and always clean up after myself. It would be nice to share a place with people in the West/ Southern part of Hobart. I would also consider teaming up with someone who has not found a place in Hobart and willing to move in early April. Please flick me a text message or message me here if you have any question. Cheers! :)
University graduate from Western Australia relocating for full time job within the Tasmanian State Service. Keen to explore nature and sights around Hobart and meet great people.
Hi! Moving to Tassie at the end of February. Will be here for a minimum of 6 months.. hopefully more. Looking for a medium sized bedroom in a share house. I study (almost) full-time and work part time (ESL teaching & hospo). Outdoors often - I have a van so very, very likely the days I have off will be spent in the mountains or on the coast. Chilled and clean housemate. Cheers :)
I am a 26 year old health professional. Relocating in late February 2019 Clean & easy going. I enjoy the occasional drink / social night but mostly keep to myself. Keen outdoor adventurer (mostly hiking) and just starting to get into bouldering. Looking for a house that feels like a home; preferably within 15-20minute drive of Hobart (bonus points for mountain views!)
I'm moving out of my place I'm renting atm and the lease ends feb, im looking for either a spare room in a share house or some friendly people to find our own place with. I'll be working full time. I'm pretty busy with work and hanging out with friends and doing outdoor activities! but when I am home, always keen for a board game and netflix binge :) oh and also some wine or beer. Cint.
Hey my name is Siobhan and I'm a 28 year old graphic designer. Designing is my primary passion and what I spend most of my waking hours doing and thinking about. I'm also a big fan of coffee and tending to my small collection of outdoor succulents. I'm hoping I can take my espresso machine and plant babies with my to my new home. :) I am quiet and tend to keep to myself but I'm down for a good discussion over coffee or a beer if anyones up for it. I'm looking for a room to squish my bed and desk into, I'm happy as long as I can close the door and be in my own space. I don't mind who I live with as long as everyone is responsible for themselves. I've been managing a group house for 3 years and I'm not interested in being a house mum or a mediator. :) if anyone wants any more details feel free to contact me.
My girlfriend of 3 years and I are looking for shared accommodation and to create a humble abode. We relish in meeting new like-minded people. We are not party animals, but we do enjoy hanging out with friends for social drinks and game nights. We are both avid cooks, who love getting involved in the kitchen with a willingness to share and learn new recipes. We also know how important it is to keep a clean and tidy household in order to prevent conflict and promote wellbeing, which is something we have practiced in all of the houses we have lived in thus far. I have just finished a bachelor's degree in environmental science on the north coast of NSW, and will be starting a master's in planning at UTAS. I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors and hiking, kayaking and fishing. While I also love taking it easy by watching films, reading books and chatting about philosophical ideas and sharing the human experience. I think you will find that I easily mould into my surroundings and try to avoid conflict through open and clear communication. Cello is currently studying a Bachelor of art and design degree, and will be transferring over to UTAS to finish it off. Cello is a open and creative minded person who is always willing to having a conversation and participate in housemate activities. She takes great pride in cooking for others and sharing her recipes passed down by her Spanish ancestors. We are willing to both occupy a room together, but are also open to having a room each if that is more appropriate. Our current plan is to be in Hobart by around mid March.
I'm a friendly, respectful adult moving to Hobart to pursue a career with Ambulance Tasmania and looking to meet some friendly people to introduce me to Tassie life. I understand that a comfortable balance of space and socializing is key to the enjoyment of a home for everyone. I will be a shift worker, so housemates that can be equally respectful of noise levels is necessary. That being said, if I'm invited I'll probably be likely to join in festivities! My partner currently resides in Melbourne and I'd hope to both visit her and have her stay with me when she comes down to Hobart. I'm a passionate climber and am excited about exploring the national parks on my time off. Also keen on board games if you have some lying around. Happy to answer any more questions! Douglas.
