I just graduated from UTAS and will stay in Launceston for at least 3 years. I an easy-going, quiet and displined girl from China. Now, I have three part-time job as a waitress while seeking a nice job here. Since I find it it difficult to apply a nice place to rent as a foreign graduate, so I decided to move back to school accommodation or share a house with others. I do prefer to have a shot term rent about 1-2 months since I will move out from where I live in now on 1st of November. But, long term is also acceptable. The reason why I wanna move out is that the living condition is far too bad. Very cold in winter and wet. I have a car no pet. Here is my basic situation. If you like, we can arrange a time to have an inspection.

Our stylishly appointed home has a generous back garden and living spaces with a beautiful kitchen and living quarters. The home maintenance is low upkeep and generally Clementine does most of the cleaning and home care as she works from home. There's lots of private space to be had and fair distribution of common areas. Bathroom scheduling is never a problem as we have two full bathrooms which works really well across the board. We are right next to Coles, a great local green grocer, a deli, sushi, pasta and burger joints. Just up the road from Sportie's and a 9/11 bottle shop. Plenty of great cafes and walking distance to the city (5-10 mins tops). Parking is really easy too.
It is a great house in a good area just outside the city. It is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house and has a large backyard. The private room is available from 8th of November until late February. The student who lives in the room is moving back to Hobart for the summer and is sub-letting the room.
1km flat walk to town. Lots of trees and greenery in yard. Warm fire in winter. Covered deck/patio area. Possible off street parking (negotiable). Good internet which is part of the deal. Choice of 2 rooms, can be furnished if required. Quiet and respectful house.
I'm a pretty sociable person to live with; coming from a big family i can appreciate wanting space, as well as wanting to have a good laugh. I like cooking in my spare time, and love going out for breakfast on the weekends. I am also quite partial to spending a rainy day binging tv shows, and disappearing down the conspiracy wormhole. I have 2 cats and would love to bring them with me, but they are negotiable as they currently live at my family home. I'm commencing my first year at the University of Tasmania in 2019 studying architecture, and have a part time job in the cbd
We are a neat, quiet, clean-after-yourself and respectful couple. We really want to hang out and build relationships with our housemates, but if they prefer privacy and quietness, we also respect that.
Hi I'm Fiona, 31 years old and moving to Tas from Victoria/Nsw (I live right on the border). I'm planning to move in January after which I'll be studying Tourism at TasTAFE and working part time. I'm looking for a somewhat quiet and mature household as I'm more of a homebody who prefers cooking and watching youtube/netflix to a big night out. Other than cooking and netflix I also love coffee, dogs, kayaking, and photography. It would be great to have a flatmate who also likes hiking and exploring Tassie's beautiful landscapes, and I'll happily teach you to kayak! Although I'm moving in January I'd really love to get my living situation sorted out earlier for my own peace of mind. Despite being a student for the first 6 months I am fully capable of paying rent/bills so you don't need to worry about that at all :)
I'm a final year social work student. Currently I'm doing my placement in the city as a housing support worker. I'm tidy and clean and I especially pay attention to kitchen tidiness (I'm a huge Gordon Ramsay fan :P ). I like listening to music, reading and watching TV shows.
I'm looking for a room to move into basically as soon as possible. I'm 31 and currently working full-time. I consider myself honest and easy to get along with. I'm well organised and always respectful of others. If possible I'd like to organise a time that obviously suits you to come and check out
Heya, so I’m Caitlin and I’m interested in moving to the Launceston area to begin studying at university in 2019. I’m yet to apply so it’s all a bit up in the air. I’m kind of just having a look at what’s about in Launceston and surrounding areas and see what happens! I’ve selected that I’m a smoker but I don’t that much, just here and there when I feel like one. I also have a shih tzu x cavalier King Charles spaniel named Winston who is puppy pad trained. If you have any questions at all please give me a message!
