We are a young couple, one of us is a student/part time worker and the other is in the APS. We are looking to move out of our parents' houses. We tend to keep to ourselves as we work, both day and night shifts however we are social on the rare occasion our schedules line up. We would prefer somewhere with our own kitchen/kitchenette as we are vegan and nut free. We both work and go to school in the city so, we are looking for something around that area (basically not Tuggeranong or Belconnen). Thanks for reading!
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working fulltime. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. I have a 1 year old swiss shepherd that I would like to bring with me too, shes house trained and very loving. I spend most of my free time watching a movie, reading a book, or out riding my dirtbike.
CIT environment graduate looking for long-term accommodation. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, and I get along with just about anyone. I enjoy art, photography, gaming and the outdoors.
Clean & tidy person. Friendly, mature person. Loves travelling & scuba diving. Happy to have a chat or remain quiet. Have a friendly dog who doesn't make a sound at nite. Must find a place as soon as possible.
For those wanting somewhere to call home. There is nothing better than relaxing in front of the wood fire at the end of the day with a glass of wine. Plenty of space with two lounge rooms so you can have your privacy and set in for a solid session of netflix binge watching at your leisure. Rustic charm, the deck and bbq area out the back are primed for summer evenings and the veggie patch is now planted and ready to bloom. The room There are two vacant rooms from which you can choose. The remaining one will probably remain empty to be used as storage. The first bedroom (just over 3.2 x 2.7) is a light, carpeted room with a 1.5 built in robe. Plenty of room for a double or queen bed and bedside tables. The second bedroom (just over 3.0 x 2.8) is a little smaller but has triple full length glass slide doors out onto the balcony, meaning you would have your own access/entry point as well. The second bedroom has 1 built in robe and is also carpeted. Happy to provide room as either furnished or unfurnished, however there may be an additional once-off charge for furnished. The house The house is a 1970s style three bedroom, two lounge room brick house with substantial front and back yard areas and plenty of room for a keen gardener. Lots of greenery. Recently renovated kitchen and lounge room and separate dining area. Laundry with washing machine and old school hills hoist out the back. You will have your own parking space and built in security system care of Frank the dog. Floor boards throughout the house. Dishwasher in the kitchen. Job done!
Hi there, My name is Michelle, I am 24 years old, and I work as a nurse at The Canberra Hospital. I am friendly, considerate, neat, and a fairly quiet, reserved sort of person, who will always make it a priority to pay rent and utilities on time. I am not into loud partying or things like that, but do enjoy the occasional drink with friends. I have a 10-year-old small/medium dog named Roxy, who is the most perfect creature! She doesn’t shed, rarely barks, absolutely doesn’t bite, and I do have a rental reference specifically for her. I am quite flexible on the length of lease. Please let me know if you’d like to see a reference for either Roxy or myself. Thanks for your time!
I'm currently working as a Veterinary Nurse and I adore animals. I'm more than happy to have a chat, share a drink and do the dishes if cooking is your thing. I'm a pretty big nerd; I'm into all sorts of games (table top and video games mostly) and I'm happy to chat about all things pop culture. I also like having my privacy from time to time so I can sometimes be pretty quiet and so I'm also happy to give you space when you want it. I'm generally a pretty tidy person but I'm not over the top into cleaning. If you have a room that you think suits me and you think that I'd suit your household please feel free to message me.
I run my own business in Phillip, don't mind cooking, like a chat and a social drink or two. Non smoker. I have a rescue dog. He's been with me for 10 years now. He's an inside dog and comes with me when I work. If inside pets don't work for you I can find other accommodation for him but I'd like to have him with me if I could. I'd prefer to share with 1 person or a couple but not looking to get into a group situation.
I'm currently trying to suss out my options for February. I live in a share house at the moment and have the option to extend the lease for another year but that will mean finding two new housemates and furnishing the house (other housemate owns furniture). So I'm on here to see if there are better options 😀 I'm 25, Irish, work full time Monday-Friday 9-6, easy going, enjoy cooking, watching tv, spending time outside, a few drinks every few weekends. I have ticked the smoker box, I smoke a few cigs of an evening after work or with a few drinks. I'm not a heavy smoker or anything.
Im a 27 year old female GP in training from Sydney. I'm looking for a comfortable and clean place to call home as well as having a place that's quiet enough to study
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
I am a full time gym manager. I like to keep to myself but am happy to have a chat. I have an 8 month old male blue heeler puppy who is super friendly. I'm clean and pretty quiet. I'm very easy going and just tend to go with the flow.
We have a beautiful 3 bedroom house (1 of which is a music room). There is a nice big garden, plenty of parking and just a 20 minute bus to town. Otherwise it’s about a 12 minute drive. It’s a lovely quiet area with a little convenience store 1 minute walk away or a Woolworths down the road just a 2 minute drive, or 10 minute walk.
This property is located in a pretty cull-de-sac, which is only a minutes walk to Holder shops and the bus stop. ( Coleman Court, Weston is a 3 mins drive and city is less than 10 minutes drive) The location is safe and surrounded by parks & bike trails. The house is architecturally designed with a retro feel. The available room is on the 2nd storey with a shared bathroom and private living area that has been converted into a lounge area. The first floor has a furnished living area, kitchen and dining room. The room has floor to ceiling windows that overlook the tranquil backyard. It is semi-furnished with a recently purchased king single bed. If you have your own furniture that is fine too. *** WI-FI is available*** Smoker welcome, but outside please. We would split bills equally which includes electricity and internet Please message me if you would like further information about the place and to set up a viewing time!

Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Perth late January to begin working in the public service. I'm looking for a furnished room and I don't mind paying extra for my own bathroom. I will be bringing my car, so a car space or easy parking will be needed. I love to travel, go out to eat and sleep. I can be quite the chatterbox, but also do keep to myself and like my downtime (naps). I'm clean, respectful and excited to see what's around the Canberra area, would love if weekend adventuring out and about was a thing! I'm just hoping to see what's out there at the moment leading up to my move :)
Hi I'm David and I'm 24. Originally from Southern Sydney, now in Canberra at UC doing Law. I enjoy lots of different hobbies, I cook, keep active and enjoy a laugh. Looking for somewhere where I can get my study done and chill out.
Hi All, I am moving to Canberra from Brisbane in January 2018 to work as a full time teacher. My partner will be working on the Army base and will be living on base for 12 months. I am looking for a modern apartment or townhouse with space to park my car. Furnished or unfurnished - does not bother me (as long as I can bring my bed), I am happy to purchase the essentials. I will be spending most of my spare time playing sport. As I won't know anyone in Canberra I would love to live with someone who would like to hang out for dinners, drinks, shopping etc. I am very neat, today and love cooking dinners. I like to keep bathrooms immaculate and have a strong dislike for old bathrooms with shower curtains!
I'm a 27 year old public servant, currently on leave to complete a Master of Social Work but will be returning to full-time hours in January. I have a small dog (Mr Miyagi - a toy japanese spitz) and I am an occasional wildlife carer of pouched joeys. When I'm not taking my doggie for a walk, you'll find me either at the gym; watching Game of Thrones/Netflix; doing a touch of gardening, or baking cupcakes. I would love to share with someone who I could share the occasional movie with, and ideally become good friends. I am reasonably open to location given the right flatmate, but would prefer the south side.
I am a full time music teacher, having studied classical music at uni. I'm a very neat/tidy/clean person to live with, having grown up with multiple siblings you had to be! I have a cat, a silver/white tabby named Charles, who is very cheeky and stays indoors 24/7.
Hi, I am looking at moving to Canberra around mid to late January to start a full time Nursing postition at the Canberra Hospital. I am a fun, outgoing kind of person who is respectful of others around me and there belongings. I’m a quite kind of person who loves watching tv, catching up on all the sports and don’t mind a beer and a bet here and there. I’m pretty open to who I live with although would prefer medical students or those of the same work profession
Hi, I’m looking to relocate to ACT in 2018. I will be working as a nurse at Canberra Hospital, and, therefore, will be doing shift work. Currently working part-time in my hometown one hour away, but looking to relocate prior to commencing full-time work in February. I will be respectful of others privacy and property, and would appreciate the same in return. I’m an easy going, clean and quiet person. I would enjoy having some meals together with a flat mate, and generally living with someone I can have a chat with. Also willing to live on my own in a granny flat or 1 bedroom unit or studio.
Hi, My name is Nicollette, I am an easy going 21-year-old female who will be working full time as a registered nurse and looking for a place to stay (All female) for roughly one year. I am clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I’m always up for a chat, dinner or drinks, not a big party person either and respectful of others personal space. I will also be bringing a small budgie-sized bird with me who won’t be any trouble :) I am looking to move in early February so please send me a message if interested.
I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start work as a grad in the public service, looking for somewhere clean and relatively close to work. I mostly just read and watch movies at home, so I'll generally keep to myself, but do also enjoy a chat/drink (and not averse to a good party either if that's your thing). I'm a pretty tidy person, and a non-smoker.
