Easy going, I like to keep things tidy but nothing crazy. Looking for chill, like minded people. I am always down for making new friends and hanging out but also love my own space and will respect yours!
Hiya! My name is Alicia and I am moving to Canberra at the beginning of August, meaning I require a new home:) I'm a full time worker doing admin in the construction industry as well as attempting to study Marketing part time online. I'm really looking for a home where the housemates get along and who wouldn't mind giving me some tips on some local places (help a Newbie!). I'm clean, love a laugh and respect peoples privacy as well as enjoy my own alone time. My cooking skills are limited so unfortunately I can not try to win you over with some amazing dish but I do know how to wash dishes and put them away :D Balcony, en suite and/or pets would be a huge bonus. Hope to hear from you! Cheers, Alicia
Hi everyone! my name is Connor and I'm looking for a single room asap, doesn't need to be too flash! - Maximum price $220 - Woden area About me: I'm a clean person, very respectful, independent, down to earth person and easy to get along with. I love to cook, watch movies, hang out with friends and just relax.
Quiet, fairly easy going, ex military. I wake up early for work :( Really not that fussed on location. New to Canberra, cook by trade, love cooking. Spare time, cooking camping hiking fishing, spend all my holiday time from work chasing the snow overseas. Hate filling these things out, lol
Hi there! I’m a Chilled out, 28 year old looking for a place where I can come home after work in the city and jump on my laptop. I gym most nights after work. I’m quiet and very respectful of my room mates privacy and comfort. I have very little furniture I just need a place to stick my bed. I’m comfortable living with women, men, animals, LGBTQI. Currently single.
Warm and cosy little cottage in a quiet area in Weston. The house has recently been renovated so is clean, well appointed, and stylishly furnished. There is ducted gas heating, gas cooktop, electric oven, microwave. The bedroom has a double bed with storage, wardrobe, bedside table with lamp, and electric blanket. 5mins walk to bus stop, 10mins walk to Coolaman Court shops, restaurants and other facilities. Westfield Woden just 3km away, so walking distance or an easy bus ride. Canberra Hospital 4km, ANU 8km, CBD 8km.
We are Claire (27, full time scientist) and Chilli (7, full time couch potato) and our parents have finally sold up the house, so we are looking for somewhere to live...from September 2018. Claire has been renting/share-housing since 2014, and Chilli is newer to the game but did so in 2016. A simple description of of us is boring - so clean, tidy, early risers with nanna-bed times who enjoy walkies. Claire is your average human - talks, exercises out of necessity, watches TV (mostly ABC), likes board games and escape rooms, is a dishwasher stacker/unstacker enthusiast, a good cook and an average baker. Chilli is housetrained and all round “good boy” (kid, dog + cat friendly - with NSW Green Collar) whose special skills include sleeping, collecting (soft toys, the occasional cushion), smooching and reclaiming unsupervised food... We spend most weekends (Fri night-Sun) in Sydney with Luke (Claire's husband + Chilli's dad) - Chilli goes too, but we spend about 1 weekend a month in town - and it'd be cool if you'd be okay with the occasional visit by Luke. We would like an unfurnished room, and do have some additional furniture so happy to share or loose it. Flexible with anywhere in Canberra/Queanbeyan, commutable to Deakin. Preferably we’d like you to like indoor dogs because Chilli hates the outdoors. There is the possibility for Chilli to live with his dad + fur siblings....but we'd prefer to be together.
Moving to Canberra for an APS job in STEM. I'm pretty laid back but still prefer things around the house to be neat and tidy. Would be great to find another young professional (guy or girl) who also enjoys the occasional chat or drink but also respects having quiet downtime.
Hey :) I'm a full-time PhD student at the ANU, very quiet and mostly keep to myself. I have lived in share houses for a long time and am very respectful of other people's space & privacy. I like to keep my room clean, and the common area as well when possible. Looking for an established quiet share house, or 1-2 similar-minded people to team up for a new lease. I don't have any furniture at the moment, but happy to buy if needed. Ideally I'd like to have my own bathroom and a parking space for my car. I also like modern houses/units/apartments with large walk-in robes. If this sounds like you don't hesitate to hit me up! Cheers
I am currently working in a cafe and a bottle shop and am trying to start up a cleaning business. Ben is a 3rd year electrical apprentice. We are a very respectful and tidy young couple who are always keen to help out around the house. We are looking for house mates that can have a chat, but can also respect our privacy. We are both massive dog lovers! We are okay with cats as long as they are friendly! We would prefer somewhere on the south side but are open to anywhere in Canberra/Queanbeyan. Please let me know if we sound like people you would be interested in living with :)
Fun loving and easy going girl! I am a full-time registered nurse working at Canberra Hospital. I have a beautiful 3yr old beagle cross. Im a neat and tidy person enjoy my own space but am also social. Im happy to hang out on the couch in my hoodie and watch Netflix all day but can also be found out and about exercising and having a great time either way! Ideally looking for a place in the south of Canberra with a yard for my dog Nessie. Would be open to a place with other dogs as Nessie is a very social and fun loving dog!
We are a married couple. I am a visiting scholar at ANU and my wife is an architect who is looking for a job position in Canberra. We are not wasteful. We are quite, tidy and easygoing. We don't have any kids or pets. Also, we are not smoky and alcoholic.
I am a student from Belgium and for an internship in Australia, I am looking for a place to stay somewhere near Canberra. My internship starts in February 2019. I am an easy going person who is friendly and likes doing all kinds of things. Meeting new people, a good hike in nature and doing sports are a couple of my favourite things to do.
Hi there, My name is Zach and I'm a 29yr old IT professional looking for an ensuite room to rent. I am a clean housemate and I usually keep to myself, either playing games, watching Netflix or going to the gym, but also enjoy a chat. Hope to speak with you soon!
I work Full time non-smoker, CLEAN, respectful, I guess a little sociable but still appreciates their own time. I am also honest, easy going and most of all have common sense and genuine respect for belongings and items!! Basically all that good stuff we want every flatmate to be : )
Hey I'm a 23 year old transguy, looking to move into a place with hopefully no more than 3/4 people. I can move in anytime, with a weeks notice, and I'm looking to stay indefinitely. I'm pretty quiet and tend to keep to myself. I'm into PC games, anime, scify/fantasy anything, almost any kind of music and I love cooking! I'm more than happy to do more than my share of cleaning, as long as everyone cleans up after themselves, I'll probably cook all kinds of desserts/breads/whatever kind of recipes I find, I love cooking for other people (especially people with dietary requirements!) so I'll be more than happy to cook dinner if I'm not working at the time. At the moment I work part time at Hungry Jacks, but always looking for something a bit more...well more. I love animals, so totally fine with sharing places with pet owners, though I do have a slight cat allergy (it's totally manageable). I smoke very occasionally, usually at work, and I drink occasionally, like maybe a few times a month on my own but mostly socially. I don't do drugs and I'd rather not share a place with anyone who regularly does hard drugs (weed's fine, as long as you keep it to your own space). As I said before, I'm fairly shy and a pretty big introvert, though I'm always happy to talk about LGBT+ issues, and swap anime/book/music/movie recommendations.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
Currently living in Darwin but I've recently been offered a full-time job in Canberra in the public service sector and need to find a place to live. I study part-time online with RMIT as well so need a decent internet connection for that (I'm lying, I need it for my Overwatch addiction), I enjoy cooking, spending time with friends as well as making new ones and I've recently started attending a gym - trying to live my best life :P I am a consistent person, which means I don't fail on the rent and I don't flake on plans with other tenants I'm clean and tidy, I especially love a clean kitchen and like to keep my stuff neat to avoid undue stress in a household as the kitchen is the most shared place in a house. I love talking to people and hanging out but I also understand the need for space, and I myself enjoy my privacy and quiet time. I believe I'm a responsible housemate and encourage open communication between all tenants to make sure everybody is happy with living arrangements.
29 year old professional, fresh off the plane from Perth. Looking for a place reasonably central to the city or inner south. I have an ancient cat who keeps to herself and won’t bother anyone. Sociable, but too old to hit the clubs every night!
I am easy going, tidy, pretty quiet and love to read but am always up for a chat or just to hang out and watch a movie. I work part time at a local cinema and can bribe you with free trips to the movies. I really like music and going out to gigs and concerts. I also quite like a chill beer and bit of pool in a pub.

Situated in a quiet, leafy suburb walking distance from local shops and only a 5 minute drive to Woden and 10 minutes into the city. Waramanga is the geographic centre of Canberra and as Wambaya Cresent is very close to the Tuggeranong Expressway and Hindmarsh Drive you can easily head in all directions to get to anywhere in Canberra within 20-30 minutes. The house itself is homely, fully furnished, clean and comfortable. Big deck with BBQ and views over the Brindabella's. Access to Foxtel, internet, netflix and a big backyard that's suitable for pets. Have a small schnouser/poodle that fit's in with other pets. Other smaller dog breads welcome.
Two year old townhouse, with 3 good size bedrooms, share bathroom with front street parking. You would be sharing the leaving quarters with my daughter and I. Looking for a female between the ages of 20-45, no couples. Bills to be split 3 way. We also have a cat and small dog.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
