Working full time in my own business. I spend most of my time at work or at the gym. I am a quiet person who prioritizes my health and sleep. Forsee spending a lot of time during 2020 in Sydney, where my girlfriend will be living. Will update this bio with more information later on.
I'm currently in my penultimate year at ANU and I work in an corporate office. On some weekends, I visit my grandma in Sydney & during the holiday breaks, I head back to visit my family in Melbourne. Outside of study & work, I'm either at the gym or I'm hibernating in my room. I live quite a fast-paced life balancing study, work & responsibilities; so I ideally want a home where I can relax and re-charge. Though I consider myself quite introverted, I appreciate a chat with my housemates or sharing a meal with them every now & then.
Hey! Heather is a organised, clean, flexible, respectful, non smoking/drug using, full time student planning to move from Wollongong to Canberra in the next few months. Current casual disability worker and will seek additional work once settled. More than happy to share chores, etc. Ivy is a social, hypoallergenic, roast chicken loving, house trained, four year old indoor cat. Full time snuggler/sunbather. In her spare time she likes to fetch and take Heather for walks in the backyard to roll in the dirt. We’re a fun, friendly and respectful pair 🙂
Hello! My name is Zina. Ideally, I'm looking to share a place with one other roommate or two if I can have my own ensuite. I am clean and tidy and respect other peoples belongings and space, but also sociable and friendly. I'm looking to share a place with people who share my values in maintaining a tidy environment and who are conscious of not making loud noise at night (for example, throwing parties all the time or playing loud music).
Located on the corner of Eyre and Howitt Streets, the apartment is super close to Kingston shops, the old bus depot markets, and bus stops. The light filled apartment has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom (with seperate toilet), heating, and a dishwasher. The complex has 6 visitors car spots and there is on street parking available outside of work hours. The place doesn’t currently have internet but I’m open to getting it.
Super quiet and peaceful little cottage in the well established suburb. Recent renovations give the house a clean and fresh feel, stylishly furnished, there are all the comforts that make a house feel lived in and homely. Much more a homestay situation. Looking for an active housemate, working full time, non smoker, to share my home. Considerate, honest, respectful, clean and tidy housemates. Longer stays will be considered. 5 mins walk to bus stop, 10 mins walk to Coolaman Court shops, restaurants and other facilities. Westfield Woden just 3 km away, so walking distance or an easy bus ride. Canberra Hospital 4 km, ANU 8 km, CBD 8 km. Easy access to main arterial road network and bike ways. There is lockable storage for your bicycle or kayak. Access to wifi and premium Netflix. Outdoor pets may be considered. Option of $260 per week including linen and utilities
I'm a postgraduate student at ANU & work at My Rainbow-Dreams Cafe in Dickson. Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I love music, going out to gigs. I'm a vegan (not a problem if you aren't) and love to cook my meals and share food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean & tidy and always clean up after. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
Not your average share house, more of a homestay situation. It's a cosy well appointed cottage home that is quiet and peaceful, not a party house. Compact and minimalist :-) Fully furnished room with central gas heating. Looking for easy going person to share with, who works full time, is socially independent, ands spends a lot of spare time out and about enjoying life. Also suits anyone who travels for work, or maybe to/from Canberra during the week. Must be used to house sharing, respectful of privacy and others belongings, honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Will consider longer stays for the right person. I like a clean and tidy house and am looking for similar. Access to wifi and premium Netflix included.
The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom place - main with extra toilet in laundry - separate living and dining, large kitchen with modern appliances and loads of bench space, generously sized backyard. Off street parking is available out the front, a shed/garage out the back with ample storage space. The room is large enough to fit a queen bed with space all around (sorry no dimensions) and has wardrobe space, but otherwise unfurnished. The shared spaces are furnished - couch, dining table, cabinets, fridge. There is room for some more stuff. If you've got your own furniture/appliances, we are happy to shuffle stuff around to make things work. There's also a bit of storage space available for overflow. The place generally stays pretty clean and tidy, we would like that to continue. We are looking for someone who can clean up after themselves without needing a reminder to do so. We're generally pretty quite, with the occasional board game nights. Bills are in addition to the rent and split equally. If this sounds like your kind of place, get in touch with a bit about yourself.
Situated in a quiet leafy suburb in a very quiet street with minimal noise and traffic. Only several minutes walk to bus stops & local shops in Waramanga. A 5 minute drive to Woden & Weston shopping centres and just off the Tuggeranong Expressway/Hindmarsh Drive making it easy to get to anywhere in Canberra quickly. This is the geographic centre of Canberra. The house itself which has until only recently been a family home for several decades is kept clean and tidy with large, spacious living area's and large bedrooms mostly with built-in cupboards. A large pet-friendly backyard. I have a small friendly dog (Tommy the Schnoodle) who is also happy to share with other pets. Great deck and summer entertaining/BBQ area with lovely views of the Brindabella Ranges. Centrally heated with additional gas heating in the living room. Free Wifi, Netflix and Foxtel access built into rental. Plenty of storage space under the house if you have items you need to put into storage during your tenancy.
One room for rent in a four bedroom house. The house is less than a 10 minute walk to Woden. Weston, Chifley, Curtin, Pearce and Mawson shops are all a short five minute drive away and Civic is just over 10 minutes. Bus stops are less than 100m away. Rent for the room is $200 per week, plus bills (electricity, gas and water - though internet is included in the rent). The room is furnished, but I'm happy to rent it out unfurnished. The house is recently renovated, with spacious living areas, a fire place and a large kitchen with new appliances. There's two bathrooms, both with in floor heating. You'd be sharing a large bathroom with one other female. The house is sunny and fully furnished. It also has a large back yard, with a productive garden and plenty of space for parking. You'd be sharing the house with myself and one other flatmate. We're looking another housemate, preferably a student or professional in their 20s-early 30s who is friendly, tidy, social, considerate of others and a non-smoker. Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions or wish to arrange an inspection.
