Hi future housemates, I am a hospitality worker who just moved down from Brisbane. I am looking to live near some sort of public transport. I dont mind living a bit further away from the city. I have the cutest ragdoll cat who just kind of follows you around everywhere and likes to get under blankets. She is litter trained. I am friendly and easy going but still neat, tidy and responsible. I am looking to live with some like minded people. Thanks for reading!

Hi all, Single room is a large spacious bedroom with walk in wardrobe to rent in a big new share house. The room is unfurnished and private with a shared bathroom. The room will easily fit a king size bed and desk with plenty of space to spare for anything else you may like. The house contains furnished shared areas (including 2 large living rooms - only one is furnished so we have space if you have your own furniture) and we also have a large kitchen with gas appliances (including dishwasher!) and ample storage. The property is 10 minutes walk to Newport station and from there a 15 minute train trip to the CBD. Local shops are also only a 2 minute walk away. There is plenty of unmetered street parking (no permit necessary). Rent is $220 a week plus utilities (to be split equally which has been averaging about $50/month) being electricity, gas and water. Internet is included in the rent. I do not take a bond, but the last 4 weeks rent is paid on taking the room to cover the notice period of 4 weeks (if you prefer to continue paying rent and have this refunded like you would a bond, we can do that). There is one small spare room that is furnished with a twin bed so that if you have friends or family who come to stay they have a bed. Our place is not a party house, we're looking for someone clean and easy going. People who want to occasionally hang out together to watch movies or have games nights, and on occasion do family dinner - but also like to do their own thing. Would also prefer someone more mature than not, and I don't mean old, I mean in the sense that you can take care of your self. You should know that I do have a cat that is part adorable and part arsehole, so we're not able to take more animals in. If you have any questions, just let me know! Hi Everyone, 50 year old professional straight guy. Spend most of my spare time outdoors engaging in endurance sports such as trail running, triathlons and mountain biking. When not out training or exploring, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, markets and winery trips. All this means I am not home much, however I am house trained and house proud, owning a few properties myself in NSW and QLD. Not into drugs of any nature and only occasionally have a few drinks. Not looking for a party house however am hoping to find a mature, fun, lively environment, clean and organised - a place to call home! Over the past 8 years I've shared with one other in various different homes, with each lasting over 1.5 years - ranging from girls in their 20's to 40's, including a mum with her 8 year old son, a guy and his girlfriend etc. Usually out of the house by 6am and often not back much before 7pm. Have National Police Clearance Certificate (NPC) and references. Thanks Andrew. PS - thanks to the dozens of people who have contacted me offering a room in a share houses that will be occupied by 4 people and more. Whilst I appreciate the offers and promises of order, cleanliness, and no anti-social behavior or sad sacks, for the last 6 years I've always found a place living with just one other person and prefer to pursue this option for the time being. Thanks again.
We are both easy going and kind people who take others into consideration when living with them. We clean up after ourselves and are Pretty good at keeping on top of it. We both currently work with food, so we're good cooks as well!
I'm an easy-going 25 year old guy from India, working full time in Melbourne. A non-vegetarian too. My clients are based in Melbourne CBD (I'm a tech consultant), so I'm looking for an accommodation preferably near to CBD or may be near to a train station since I don't have a car yet (I'm totally new to Australia). I'm a smoker, but I am also a clean person. Non-judgmental and understanding. I blend in with people easily. I'm very responsible when it comes to doing my share of the household work, paying rent/bills, etc. I don't have pets but I'm totally fine with them being in the house. I respect your privacy & quiet-time and expect the same from you too. Perks of living with me: 1. I've a couple friends who are pursuing their masters in Melbourne. You get to socialize with them, their friends and so on (on weekends), if you want to. 2. You get an ensemble of recommendations about trending and amazing Movies/TV Series to binge on. 3. A lending ear to your problems and tons of free and good advice whenever you need it. 4. One stop solution to all your PC problems. I love fixing Windows PCs/Laptops. So if you ever got a problem, you know what to do. 5. Exceptional critic and reviewer when it comes to patching up job resumes, blog articles etc. 4. You get to taste a lot of Indian dishes and be a part of several experimental cooking recipes. Don't worry about the spices, I'm versatile :) Don't hesitate to know more.
Hi. I'm very quiet homebody, I like a tidy house and go to bed very early because I work at crazy o'clock in the morning(4:45am). I do tend to stick to my room in sharehouses and I don't have people at my house very often I have a beautiful 16 year old cat that has to come with me but can stay in my room if need be. He is amazing he'll only scratch the scratching post never furniture or humans and won't bite. I'm looking for other flatmates that similar, that don't socialize at home and are quiet

Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 21 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
I'm currently studying a bachelor of Health Sciences at Deakin University, however i'm planning on doing a masters in Audiology next year at Melbourne University. I come from Horsham orginally and i've been living on the residence at Deakin for the past 3 years, however now i need to move off and that is why i am looking for a place to live! I'm a really fun and happy guy and I really enjoy a lot of things. I love reading, writing, hanging out with friends, exercising, playing sport, watching Disney, watching other movies and tv shows, and watching musicals, and so many other things. I really like doing so many things and that's why i think people find it really easy to get along with me because i have something in common with everyone and there's always something that i enjoy to do with each person i meet. I'm a very clean and tidy person, so you won't have to worry about me leaving clothes everywhere or have hair shavings in the bathroom sink or have a really high pile of dishes to be cleaned. I'm also a very hard working student. I spend time studying because i like doing well in everything i do and i like learning new things (ps i'll always be open to learning new things and skills from anyone, for example if you know how to make a chair or play an instrument or how to do art or something like that i would be keen to learn!) I look forward to meeting my new roommate/s!
After 12 months working in London I am returning to a job in Melbourne working Monday to Friday in the government sector, so am out of the house during the week. I am tidy and reliable housemate and respectful of housemates and privacy. I enjoy socialising outside of the house including going to movies, eating out, gigs, swimming, playing tennis, walking and travelling. Please note my preference is for a shorter term rental, several months.
I'm a 28 year old working full time in the city. Interests include football, socialising, running, outdoor activities, reading and music. Very generic I know. Fairly clean and house-trained. Would like to have housemates that are cool to hang out with and have a wine or two after work but at the same time respect each other's space and privacy.
I've been renting all my life (both rooms and apartments/townhouses) and know what makes a good flatmate: reliability; cleanliness; freindliness; respect for other people's preferences. I'd like to think I get a big tick on all four. Although I'm currently looking for work having just moved here from Canberra, I have a guaranteed income of $500 from another source. So, money isn't a problem. I also have a washing machine and some exercise and gardening equipment (treadmill, spin bike, lawnmower etc.) in storage that I could bring if wanted. I am considering going back to university/study next year (used to study Arts/Science at the ANU in my late twenties). I would prefer a friendly but reasonably quiet house as I do like to be able to relax where I'm living. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers! :)
Hi, I am an easy going and considerate bloke who respects everyone's space. I’ve lived in share accommodation for many years, so understand the boundaries, respect and courtesy that come with sharing a home. I work as an IT consultant in the city and looking for a room on walking distance to station and close to CBD. Looking for something long term and enjoy building friendship with great housemate. Usual weeks I am busy at work and spend some me time at home afterwards. However, I am always up for detailed discussions with interesting people. On weekends, I catch up with friends, play table tennis, soccer, or go for hiking if weather permits.
