My name is Kristy, I'm 38 and a designer, moving to Melbourne for a fantastic new job. I'm a quiet, considerate and tidy person, who has TWO PETS. a super affectionate 9yo Alaskan Malamute, named Kaiser and a 13yo cat called Toby. Kaiser needs a grassed secure backyard, but other than that I'm pretty flexible with a shared bathroom, and suburb as long as it's close to a train that leads to Southern Cross Train Station, and a decent area. I like to take my dog out on weekends and I study part time so I tend to keep busy. I just want to live with an animal lover foremost and a easy going friendly person. I would be happy living with a female or a couple.
Chilled, neat, organized and respectful. I work full time as a Telecommunications Technician. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, photography, movie/TV and traveling when I get the time. I'm happy to stay 6 months and may extend further at the end of the initial length of stay.
I never miss rent, I'm sociable without being annoying but just as happy to keep to myself as much as you'd like. I'm clean, tidy, reasonable with 99% of all share house issues, and my only pet peeve is a house mate that likes drama. All i want to do after a long day at work is come home and relax, whether that's with a house mate or just chilling doing my own thing. More than happy to help out and if my housemate doesn't have a car, there's no excuse too small that i won't use to go for a drive.
G'day I'm Josh. (the listing say James as that's me middle name ) As a flatmate i am chilled, fun, definitely easy going. I like my own space but wouldn't mind an occasional flatmate dinner or something along those lines. bit of a clean freak!! like to think of a house as a home. clean house is a healthy house. Essentially looking to live with like minded , respectful people. Im clean and friendly. Spend my down time with friends, and Family. Ive just finished studying IT at Uni LAST YEAr, and now work full time in the manufacturing and transport sector for a high end car company. I'm conscious of others privacy and also like my own space but enjoy a good laugh too. Would be great to find some like minded people to live with about the same age as me, as it would be good to have similar interests. hope too hear from you !\\ looking for a new home to live in, moving date around 25th/26th but am flexible too. email or message :0 josh
Hi all, We have 2 options available Single person: $220/week OR Couple: $360/week ($180each) Single room is a large spacious bedroom with walk in wardrobe to rent in a big new share house. The room is unfurnished and private with a shared bathroom. Couple is the master suite, which has a private ensuite, a double walk in closet and extra large room. It is unfurnished. Either room will easily fit a queen bed and desk with plenty of space to spare for anything else you may like. The house contains furnished shared areas (including 2 large living rooms - only one is furnished so we have space if you have your own furniture) and we also have a large kitchen with gas appliances (including dishwasher!) and ample storage. The property is 10 minutes walk to Newport station and from there a 15 minute train trip to the CBD. Local shops are also only a 2 minute walk away. There is plenty of unmetered street parking (no permit necessary). Rent is $220/360 a week plus utilities (to be split equally which has been averaging about $50/month) being electricity, gas and water. Internet is included in the rent. I do not take a bond, but the last 4 weeks rent is paid on taking the room to cover the notice period of 4 weeks (if you prefer to continue paying rent and have this refunded like you would a bond, we can do that). There is one small spare room that is furnished with a twin bed so that if you have friends or family who come to stay they have a bed. We're also ok with you having a child that may come stay every other weekend - they would be able to use the spare room. Our place is not a party house, we're looking for someone clean and easy going. People who want to occasionally hang out together to watch movies or have games nights, and on occasion do family dinner - but also like to do their own thing. Would also prefer someone more mature than not, and I don't mean old, I mean in the sense that you can take care of your self. You should know that I do have a cat that is part adorable and part arsehole, so we're not able to take more animals in. If you have any questions, just let me know! Natalie Large Built In Wardrobes Spare room for visitors Central heating/cooling **Room available at end of June, but as we have the spare room and empty living space upstairs, we can easily accommodate an extra person for a while if there is cross over :)

Just signed a lease for an apartment in Newport. It's a third floor apartment in a relatively new building on Mason Street. 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, has a balcony, and a gorgeous kitchen. (one of the reasons i wanted the place). Open plan dining and lounge with lots of light, shared bathroom and lovely south facing balcony (yeah sea breeze). Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes and are of a decent size. Property has a seperate bath and toilet and a European laundry, has a lift and stairs and will have undergound car park spot that may also be available for use. Located above an IGA and across the road from a butcher, veggie shop, fish n chips, pizza, masseuse, bottle-0, bakery, and numerous cafes. 3 minutes walk to Newport Station with express trains to the city via southern cross and flinders street (approx 12-14 minutes travel time). If you grab a non express it's still only 16-20 mins to the city which is fantastic. There is also multiple buses across the road that can get you to Altona gate shopping centre, or Williamstown. I am yet to move in and take over the property on 19 May. Viewings can be arranged for after business hours after that date. I won't have a full compliment of furniture straight away. I plan to add to my existing items as I go. Will have all the necessities - kitchen items, fridge, washing machine, couch, small dining table, TV. Looking for housemates that like to chat while cooking meals, perhaps hit up a pub trivia session once in a while or have an afternoon of beer drinking on the weekend. I'm not new to Melbourne have lived there many times and in a variety of suburbs. Must also love cats.

The best thing about this property is it feels homely and comfortable. This two story town house is close to Williamstown and all the great cafes & restaurants including a great cafe over the road from our place and several others near by. I have my own ensuite & toilet, as well as there being two other separate toilets. One is upstairs and the other is downstairs. There is ducted heating and cooling throughout. Also there are balconies outside the bedrooms. There is a secure lockup garage. We do not take couples or extra pets.
House-proud, clean, social, respectful, communal furniture, team ups only. discussed in more depth below. Hi All, I'm Andrew, A 29 year old Disability Support worker. I value friendly, courteous, mature people who are proactive in self development and considering others and the environment around them. I am very house proud and reflect this within my ideals of cleanliness, which is centred around the idea that we clean up after ourselves in communal areas after use and maintain our home and furnishings to a high standard to reflect how proud we are of our home. Living within the home I respect my fellow housemates by doing my best not to disturb them while sleeping or relaxing. I enjoy time together in communal areas as much as time to myself in my room, whether it be sharing dinner together, playing a boardgame or simply having a chat while we occupy the same space. I enjoy sharing the good and bad parts of our days and offering each other inside from a third person perspective. I consider housemates as family. I'm looking to start a home with people who are like minded and encapsulate the above. My hobbies within our home would be playing video games, cooking, gardening, the occasional dinner party or board games and relaxing on my bed. My leisure pursuits outside the home usually consist of Cultural events, visiting friends to play video games or watch movies/tv shows, lasertag, assisting friends with renovations, camping, going to the beach, and a range of other random activities. My work as a Disability and Aged Care Support Worker sees me working weekdays and weekends assisting people to develop and maintain a value of life they aim to achieve. This involves me cooking or cleaning for people, assisting them to access the community or teaching them skills to live their lives as independently as possible. I have all the basic furniture and appliances to furnish a house. This includes an l-shaped grey couch, a hexagon shaped table, rugs, a large one door fridge, upright freezer, large front loader washing machine, tv and more. Most of these are just over a year old. Thank you for reading my profile and feel free to send me mail if you think we reflect similar values and could create a great home together.

I'm really good to live with because one i can cook and two I'm a really clean person i always clean up once I've finished with stuff and the only thing that's ever unorganized is my desk. I do want to buy a kitten or bunny but i don't mind if im not able too i can wait
I'm a 22yo Digital Media graduate and currently doing freelance design & retail work. I'm usually busy with work or polishing my portfolio but am cool with the occasional convo/drink/dinner/etc. I like keeping common areas clean and prefer straightforward communication always. Also I really enjoy making Viet dishes, video games and cats.
I have two different jobs which I really enjoy, and love catching up with my friends, so I’m often out and about. When I’m at home I like taking it easy, I’m very upbeat and positive. I’m a pretty easy person to be around and tend to get along with most kinds of people.
I'm a Norwegian who's been living in Melbourne for 5 years now. Back home I used to work as a school psychologist, but left my life there to be a stay-home-dad in sunny and warm Australia. Had a few amazing years here with my two kids and a lot of gardening! The last year I have been doing some casual truck driving in and around Melbourne, mostly just to get back into "real life" I guess. Being in the midst of separating from my wife, there's a lot of loose threads at the moment. I'm looking to buy something in the next 6-12 months, but need to get a more stable working-arrangement going first. Having said that, my finances are decent and I always pay my rent on time :) As a person I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I'm into gardening, cycling, movies, books and the occasional bottle of red wine. I also plan on taking up rock climbing and yoga in near future. I like the company of others and wouldn't mind sharing dinners every now and then, but I do appreciate my own private time. My two kids (4 yr old daughter & 5 yr old son) will live their mum in Yarraville until I get set up properly, but obviously will come by every now and then to hang around a bit and maybe spend a few nights if I can fit them... You'll love them! Thanks for reading!
Hi, I'm a very easy going housemate looking for a room in a nice house or someone wanting to team up to get a nice house to share. I'm Jim and very active through the week and weekends and have a regular schedule of cycling, swimming, the gym and indoor rock climbing. I work hard and exercise hard so whilst at home I enjoy cooking, relaxing, a wine or beer, a bbq, some TV and the occasional binge of a series on Netflix etc.. My passion is travel whether it's around the world or more recently around Australia and different parts of Victoria. I have a touring motorbike which sees only occasional use for bigger trips and a 20 something year old 4x4 which I take on seasonally frequent camp trips! During winter I tend to go to the Alpine area for snowboarding and try and get away somewhere warmer. I'm tidy and clean throughout the house. I really respect peoples privacy and downtime but enjoy the company of having someone else in the house to chat with, share a meal or a drink with. I'm looking for a house with the following criteria. 1. Must have a garage, preferably a double garage as I have loads of sports and outdoor gear. 2. Preferably within 10mins walk of Newport/Spotswood/Yarraville/Williamstown etc train station. 3. I'd prefer a house that's not too crowded, i'm happy to pay a little extra for some space, comfort and a bit of luxury. So a share with 1 other, 2 max is fine. I work as a process manager in I.T. in the city. I'm originally from the UK and have been here for over 3 years now but intend staying here and obtaining my citizenship. I'm happy to consider teaming up with someone in a similar circumstance to get the right property and looking to move before the end of June. I'm ok to do a shorter rent period instead of committing to a full year with a stranger, lets see how it goes. Please no smokers/vape etc. Also no cat owners (allergic)
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 20 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
I am an Energy Healer, Reiki Master Pranic Healer. I see clients during the week in Taylors Lakes & Newport & i also have a part time job in ecommerce retail. Im relaxed, easy going, clean & tidy & considerate. Due to a full schedule i like to come home & chill, nextflix, meditate, salt baths etc.

I am 35 year old male who has recently moved to Melbourne from the Central Coast in NSW for work. I will be working full time and leaving early in the morning. Every second weekend I will be returning to The Central Coast for the weekend. I enjoy the gym, surfing, (though there is not much of that near Melbourne), skateboarding, and cooking. Also enjoy both water and snow skiing and boarding and in my spare time I tend to down load and watch movies. I enjoy the occasional night out and going and seeing the odd live band playing somewhere. Really don’t know much about the night life of Melbourne as I haven’t spent anytime in Melbourne. Looking forward to getting to know the place.
