I've recently moved back to NSW to be closer to family and am looking for a lovely little home or to create one, either in a bush setting or by the sea (or even both!) I've been travelling and living overseas for the past 8 years but have decided it's time to grow some roots here in Australia. I love circus, dance, growing food and enjoying life as much as possible. I would like to do all of these things in my new home and in the wider community. I teach different movement modes like pilates and circus, study community services, and also do support work. I like to keep busy and come home to a sociable, loving household where dinner and stories and laughs are often shared, and where everyone's down time is respected too. I am looking to share with like minded people who choose to live as a collective as opposed to sharing for convenience. I'm currently living in the Kiama area but am looking to move north of Wollongong to be closer to creative and fun things. I can move any time in the new year but would prefer to find the perfect home (and give my lovely housemate as much notice as possible) so am in no huge rush. I'm a lawyer who is leaving the law and moving to Wollongong to make a triumphant return to full time study and undertake a drastic career change - studying med at UoW. Get amongst it. There is some furniture that i can negotiate with you in your rent such as : TV, table, lounges, bed frames. You will have your own laundry/ bathroom, lounge, outdoor space, entry/access & kitchenette. This area is separate/no interaction with the other two rooms. The room is a cosy space. It is furnished with a king single bed, standing wardrobe, BIR, side drawers, the window looks to an escarpment view. Living with female homeowner and small dog, the home would suit a female who is gainfully employed and seeks a quiet lifestyle.
We recently have moved into a beautiful home on Thirroul beach. It's nice and close to IGA/ Coles, bars, cafes and Thirroul train station. The bedrooms downstairs are nice and quiet, as the living spaces are upstairs. The kitchen, dining and living room are open plan, with heaps of windows that open up to a balcony overlooking the park and beach across the road (perfect for a knock-off drink). To top it all off, we have a sizable garage, aircon, a dishwasher and copious house plants to keep everyone happy. The room which is available is $140 per week, plus bills. It's small, but will comfortably fit a double bed. It has sliding doors, a full-sized built-in wardrobe and a large window facing north. We get the keys on the 21st of December so we will be doing inspections that weekend if nobody has been organised prior.
