Preferably looking for an unfurnished room with own bathroom but flexible, especially if the housemates are great! A bit about me - I work Monday to Friday 8-4:30 as a psychologist, then I usually go gym in the arvos. Like to get out and about on the weekends. Very clean and tidy. Love a wine and a chat in the evenings if I’m home. Very social and like to go out but respectful and not one to party at home.
The house is modern with 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets, fully furnished fully air-conditioned and tiled throughout. Open plan living areas, modern kitchen with stainless steel gas cook top, oven and dishwasher. Undercover outdoor entertainment area with pool and outdoor shower. Comfortable, safe & secure townhouse in small gated complex. Off street or garage parking available in very quiet neighbourhood only 5 mins drive to the city.
Hi There! My name is Joel, 29 years, from Amsterdam/Netherlands. Im here in Darwin for 6 weeks already and planning to stay another month or 2. I work two jobs at the moment, one in a bar were i normally have late shifts and one parttime construction job. I like to have a drink in the weekends or after a long day of work but i can also enjoy a chill night with some good food and friends. Although i dont always have the time for it i try to workout 2/3 times a week by jogging or do some other exercises. I respect someone's privacy when needed but i also like a good conversation. If you have any questions please let me know. Cheers, Joel :)
I’ve moved up to Darwin in April and would like to move in with someone when my current lease finishes in November for ~6 months. I am looking to live in a modern and ideally fully furnished property with a car port. I work full-time as a Dietitan. I am clean, respectful and have a warm personality - I am new to the area so would ideally like to meet people & make some new friends. I love low-key nights and the occasional big one when I'm in the mood. I enjoy cooking, reading, bingeing TV shows, going for runs/walks, gym & yoga! I'd like to live with a female housemate that works full-time like in health care or a professional and would keen to hang/chill out. If this sounds like you please drop me a message - would love to meet and see if we’d be suitable roomies! Naina :)
Very down to earth and caring guy, work full time in Real Estate, open to all people as long as you are nice and upfront.

Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). I'd like to try a few different suburbs for 2-ish week periods while you may be looking for your perfect flatmate so I could fill in that gap for you too. I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. If I'm pissing you off, I'm more than happy for you to tell me so as I prefer to be up-front. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super CLEAN, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. My partner lives in Katherine so I will be away every now and then to visit but would also appreciate him being able to stay occasionally too. (He is an ex chef so this could also work in your favour as he doesn't have a kitchen where he is...) :) Being ex-hospitality and a female into sports I have many LGB friends. I am also well travelled so respectful of all communities and cultures (growing up in Sydney may also have something to do with both of those). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing and watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa and chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)
My friend and I are currently looking for somewhere to live in Darwin until the end of October. We’ve just arrived in the City and have just completed the course for Traffic Control. We are very friendly, outgoing people as well as being clean and organised. We are both from Newcastle in England and have been in Australia since January. We both love exploring the outdoors!
Clean and considerate housemate. Happy to socialise but also happy to entertain myself. Not a smoker. Enjoy a beer after a long day at work sometimes. Not a big partying person. Like to exercise and explore new places. New to Darwin.
I am female from Colombia, i am very calm, I respect people privacy, I don’t drink alcohol or smoke at all, I am going to Darwin to have a new experience, and to find a full time job as an early childhood educator. I like bushwalking.
I will be relocating to Darwin at the end of July/early August for work after living in Perth for the last 5 yrs. I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist and will be working in workplace rehabilitation. As a roommate I'm quite, clean and respectful and tend to keep to myself during the week although I do enjoy sitting down and having meals with each other, watching tv and movies. In my free time during the week I try and make sure I get to the gym most days of the week, on the weekends I enjoy getting out and socialising with friends over food and drinks. I love my sport so if you also love sport we will never run out of things to talk about.
We are both friendly, open minded and tidy couple. Vania is from Indonesia, and Miquel is from Barcelona. We are chill and relax, will be most of the time working, when we are not we love to have a chat, not a party couple and happy for social drinking once in a while. Vania loves to cook.
Hi, I'm Nikki. I'm 30 and am about to move to Darwin from Melbourne for work (I work in an advocacy role in youth justice). In my spare time I like to get out into nature as much as possible, spend time with friends, move my body (swimming, footy), practice yoga, make time to be creative and read. I'm looking for a communally-minded home, where people enjoy good conversation, a laugh, a meal together (while respecting each others' space when needed). As a housemate I am friendly, open, respectful and clean:) Hope to hear from you!
Reef (31, Australian) works as a software engineer and Cristi (28, Dutch) is a freelance content writer. We are currently travelling around Australia in our 4wd Matilda. We love being outdoors: exploring and camping in national parks and we spend lots of time at the beach. While we love to explore more of Australia, we also need a quiet place to be able to focus on work.
Hi there! I’m Julie, a local Terratorian looking for a new home and a chill flatmate to share it with. I work full time in NT Government and study part time, am a morning person and enjoy an active lifestyle. I’m looking for a professional who would like to team up and sign a lease on an apartment near or in Darwin city. I am clean, tidy and have lived in shared accommodation for a few years and know the ropes. I do prefer to have a regular cleaner for basic house maintenance. I’m fairly social, love the outdoors/camping but also enjoy time to myself cooking and getting creative. Shoot me a message if you think we’d get along! :)
Hi my name is Sabine and I am a friendly and respectfull person. Unfortunately due to a floor issue in my current appartment I have to move out when work construction will commence. I am a landlord of a property in Perth myself and I will treat the place I live in with respect. I also run a cleaning business in Perth and you will get a very clean flatmate with me. I do like a quite and relaxed place and wish to share it with a nice person. No Alcoholics and druggies, had my share of that already. I am working in the tourism Industry and it would be important to come home and be able and rest after a long day at work. I do like sport, dancing and socialising but I will do that outsite my living space. At home I like to rest and chill. If anybody is a peacefull person, who like and cares for animals, nature and healthy living I would like to hear from you. I do love dogs and would be happy to share with someo e who has a dog, also happy to do free walks...
We are Indonesian couple on Working Holiday Visa. We are neat and tidy, we like to keep things clean. Mostly we are quite but we'd love to catching up and hanging out. We also respect personal space. We are looking forward to hearing from you guys. Thank you :)
Hey, my name's Alex and i'm 21. I'm employed full-time for defence so i'm reliable with payments. I'm easy going and flexible with living arrangements, not a whole lot bothers me. I go to the gym, eat heaps and drink when i feel like it; usually on the weekend. I'm almost always keen for an adventure as well as open to trying new things. I can be social but know when to give a person space. I have a pet snake, Francesca. She is possibly the friendliest snake you will ever meet. I'm on here to meet new people and pay less for rent :)
Unfortunately the gals (housemates) are moving on to pastures a new when our lease finishes at the end of July .. So, I'm looking for two new awesomesauce housemates to move into two big fully furnished rooms in a fully furnished 1st level apartment. - Queen bed. - Air-conditioning. - Mirrored built-in closet. - Covered gated car park. Preferably looking for either two females or two males as you'll be sharing a bathroom. The apartment itself is fully furnished with all plates, pots, pans, cups, couches, chairs, tables and TV etc. You're more than welcome to bring anything you feel would add to the place. We have a sweet breezy balcony and a BBQ + the complex has a really nice sunny pool to relax in or around. Lift access to all levels. Internet is unlimited high speed NBN. The complex is located 2 minutes walk from Parap markets and a bus stop right out the front. Currently the rent is $212 per week including all bills (electricity, internet and a little bit for a bond clean when/if the household finishes up). The new lease starts at the end of July .. and likely will be renewed for a further 6 months. Preferably you are looking to stay for at least the full six months and potentially longer.
We live in a breezy tropical house in Parap. Our house is elevated with floor to ceiling louvres all around. Close to the markets, you can wander down on a Saturday morning, grab a laksa and eat it on our deck, which overlooks the lush garden. There is also a little plunge pool to cool off in during those build-up months. The room is average-sized. It fits a queen bed easily. The real perk of the room is the huge built-in wardrobe that covers an entire wall. A bathroom is shared with two other housemates. The rest of the house is furnished so you would only need to kit out your room (the bed pictured is available for purchase). The room is available from 15 August.
I am looking to share a beautiful townhouse in Bayview. The townhouse is fresh, modern and is situated right on the marina. There is a small pool and lovely deck area. The room is air-conditioned and has built in wardrobes. The house is furnished but the room isn't.
Surrounded by trees on all sides. This was my first and favourite thing I noticed when I went to see this place. It's warmer slightly being on the second floor but with a cute balcony overlooking beautiful palm trees, quiet neighbours and close to shops for a quick bite it's great!
