I am 43 and work full time as a nanny in Lane Cove. I have a 10 year old, house trained, gentle and sweet male french bulldog. He is an indoor dog and sleeps in my room with me. He comes to work with me most days. I work 12 hour days so on weekends I like to relax. I take my dog out for long bush walks or the beach and lounge about at home with a movie and a bottle of wine or have quiet meals out with friends. I love movies, cooking and jazz. Originally from Malaysia, I lived in NZ for 10 years where I went to uni before settling here. I don't actually know many people in Sydney so I rarely have people over. I am looking for a quiet place that is safe for my dog and I and somewhere we can call home. I am tidy, quiet and easy going and would like to be in a home where the occupants are stable without dramas. Perhaps an owner/occupier as I prefer a long term stay (1 year or more). I have lived on my own for 10 years but am starting to find it very unaffordable. I'd like to flat with people of similiar age and lifestyle (quiet, tidy and no party types). Ideally, I'd like my own bathroom.
My name is Laura, I am a 26yo vet nurse. I am not much of a party animal, super clean, friendly and of course I love animals. I just returned earlier this year after living in South Africa for 3 years. I also have my 2yo Wiemaraner joining me later this year. He is castrated, very well behaved and well socialised with all animals great and small (from little kittens to rhinos!).
We live in the beautiful Birchgrove, in a clean house with water views. The complex has a pool and gym facilities, and is a ten-minute walk away from central Balmain. It is a fifteen-minute bus ride from the city, with buses to central as well. It is great to be so close to the city, and still feel like you're in a small community. There are shops a ten-minute walk away, and so many yummy cafes and bars around us! The house itself is freshly painted and carpeted, with a TV and unlimited WIFI. Your room has lots of cupboard space, its own bathroom (with a shower and bath) and a patio and room for a queen bed or bunk beds.
Its a quiet street and there is a public pool 5 mins away from the property.Shops entertainment is a 20 min walk away.Public transport is a half hour bus ride from the CBD. Hi! My name is Ellen and I'm 20 years old. I have recently moved to Sydney from Melbourne and have been sub-letting a room in a share house in Balmain however the owner of the room is coming back so I am looking for a place to move into long-term. I'm very friendly, laid-back and easy to get along with. I like to socialise and go out with friends but I also enjoy spending quiet time at home. I work nights at a restaurant in Balmain and spend my days modelling, swimming at the beach and going to cafes and bars. I am honest, organised and completely responsible. I'm more than happy to help cook and clean to maintain a happy, tidy house! I don't have any pets of my own but would love a place that has a cat or a dog for me to cuddle and love. I'm looking to move into a place with housemates that are happy to hang out with me but where I can have my own space too.
Hi my name is Toni, I work full time at a branding agency. During the week, both work and seeing friends keeps me busy (I have just finished studying so I am making up for lost time with them!) On the weekends I'm out most of the time, again either spending time catching up with friends or family (both locally & interstate). I love going out and dancing, trivia nights, exercise (just starting running at the beginning of the year and really loving it!), reading (anything but textbooks), going to Art Galleries and Museums, making things (why buy it when you can make it), cooking, gardening (succulents), as well as the occasional binge watch of a TV series. I'm looking to move into a house that is tidy, relaxed and sociable with the occasional shared meal or drink (either home or out). I also appreciate and respect personal space and time. I might note that I do get up early to go for a run a few times a week and occasionally work late or go out with friends after work - I'm really quiet you won't hear me, I promise! I'm flexible with the move date, as I need to find the right fit (both the place and people).
Hi there! My name is Andrea, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Germany. As I want to escape the German winter I plan to do some work and travel in Australia, starting in Sydney. Therefore I'm looking for a place to stay in & around Sydney (anything about 30 mins away from the center by train/bus would be perfect). I can get along well with almost every kind of person. I am very open minded and have a broad range of interest, e.g. tratidtional Taekwondo (and sports in general), music (classics and rock), cooking and travelling. And I really set value on cleanness so you can rely on me that I won't leave anything dirty after using it. :-)
My name is Marina and I'm from Brazil. My husband victor and I will be in Sydney next year so he can study patisserie. We like outdoor activities like climbing and diving and victor is an awesome cook. We intend to find dome partiu-me job when we arrive. We are both easygoing and we love pets although we don'have any :)
I'm 28, originally from London, now working in a full time sponsored role as a Digital Campaign Manager for a radio group in Sydney. I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, reading, and netflixing. I'm quite a social guy so ideally I'm looking for a house where I can not only call my home, but also for housemates that wouldn't mind socialising on the occasional weekend. I do respect each other's privacy, however, and I'm rarely out on weekdays. If you think I'd make a good addition to your home then drop me a message or text.

Hey I am looking for some fun, friendly and clean housemates to live with. I'm happy, outgoing, house-trained and well travelled, I also lived in Melbourne previously for two years and now in Sydney . I'm working full time in Sydney CBD and I like to keep fit and eat healthy but everything in moderation. It'd be great if we could share a glass of wine/watch a movie/cook dinner/all that kind of stuff, but I am also busy doing my own thing sometimes and respect privacy of the housemates. i'm looking for a home closer to the city and move around 10th Oct (flexible). Let me know if you think we could get along. Cheers , Dee

Hi guys I am currently working full time in St Leonards, but travelling from the inner west is making me sad! Looking to live closer to work in a beautiful environment/near nature. I work full time at a Management Consultancy firm, and study digital marketing in my spare time. So I am quite busy . I am naturally quite social, but also am a bit of a hermit at the moment with my study! So, looking a place/ roommates who get that balance. I love dance, theatre, art and nature. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! Cheers, Karena
(Flexible move date and open-ended length stay) Hello I'm Kim- I'm a studying digital design and working as an educator. I've spent time living overseas and like to live with people who have a positive attitude about multiculturalism. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere on the train line between North Sydney and Chatswood, with unlimited internet to share, and a peaceful, pleasant housemate dynamic. I mostly like to relax and recharge on my own at home, but I like to live with nice people I can have a talk to or watch a movie with from time to time. I'm reliable and tidy, would prefer to be off the main road- somewhere with access to nature would be lovely!
