My name is Lynn, I'm 26 years old and I am currently doing my PhD in Clinical Psychology in the Netherlands. I will move to Sydney in the end of February 2018 to do the rest of my PhD at Macquarie University. Therefore, I am looking for a place to live from the end of February/March on (I will stay for at least a year). I do not necessarily have a preference for a certain area in Sydney, but I do have a preference for a house with nice and fun roommates, preferably people who also have a busy week doing a PhD or working. As a roommate, I like to have dinner together, have drinks together, watch movies together and occasionally have a party. I love the beach (and the outdoors in general), animals (especially dogs), martial arts, sports, hiking, reading and a good series or movie. I am just looking for a great time in Sydney. And I am kind of OCD'ish in cleaning, so yeah, you could probably benefit from that.
I’m an easy going professional who works long hours. I’m quite sociable but I’m also private. I’m looking for a like-minded individual who enjoys the finer things and is neat and tidy. I like the idea of cooking and sharing a meal and a glass of wine on the odd occasion.
I'll start with the usual... --I'm easy going. --I respect people's privacy i.e. will not smother you, but can have a conversation. --Can clean up after myself --will not play Norwegian black metal at 2:00am Now, the less generic fluff. I'll get it out of the way; I mainly eat vegan, BUT, I'm not a ram it down your throat, conform-or-die, kind of guy. Eat what you want. (I loved and ate meat only a few months ago). Each to their own. Will be out of the house a lot with full time work/part time study. In down time I do the usual family/friends socialising. When not doing that, of late, I've been surfing and playing guitar....not at the same time...but that'd be cool... Recent ventures with friends include making beer and printing shirts. Not a big party/clubbing person. Doesn't mean I'm a wet blanket. Sooo yeah, let's live together.

Luxury penthouse apartment with city and harbour views... This unique and luxuriously appointed penthouse apartment boasts panoramic harbour and city skyline views. Generously proportioned gourmet kitchen with granite bench tops, quality appliances and ample storage. Three large bedrooms. I have recently moved into the most amazing spacious penthouse apartment. The apartment encompasses the entire third floor of the building and has stunning views of Sydney harbor, the city skyline and the bridge. Newly refurbished it is bright and spacious with beautiful wooden floors and filled with natural light. It has the wow factor. Every room in the department is large and spacious with an amazing kitchen and separate open plan living/dining room space allowing for lots of area to chillout in your own space. The road is extremely quiet and would allow you to be close enough to the city but away from the hustle and bustle. The apartment is less than 2 minutes walk to Drummoyne ferry terminal with easy access to the City and Baragaroo. Only a 5-minute walk to Victoria Road where numerous buses are available to the City and the North Shore. Both the Bay run and the cafes and restaurants of Balmain are a stone throw away, so it is very conveniently located. This penthouse apartment is very well suited to someone who likes comfort, space, natural light and to live somewhere that is very special and not your average Sydney apartment.
Lovely apartment with polished wooden floors and amazing view. Peaceful environment only 5 mins from Balmain town centre. The spare room has an ensuite and large built in wardrobe. It can fit a queen bed and a few small items of furniture. The rest of the place is fully furnished. If you have a TV and cabinet that can be accommodated. We have 1000GB internet for $50 each per month (so basically it is unlimited). Bills are about $60 for electricity and $10 for water per month. Gas is included in the rent. The building has a swimming pool and gym and is a short walk from the water.
Hi Everyone, room available in an amazing waterfront apartment in Drummoyne. Very sad to see our housemate Jess is leaving after staying with us for 10 months. The room available is large enough to fit a queen size bed comfortably, and has a built in wardrobe. Apartment has 4 bedrooms (1 with ensuite) and you will be sharing a large bathroom with 2 others. All housemates are clean and considerate and are often away with work for extended periods. This apartment has a huge balcony with stunning harbour views and a BBQ. Plenty of storage in the kitchen, also has a new dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Broadband wireless internet, Foxtel Play, Netflix, Phillips Hue light bulbs in the lounge - Living area (Google it :) ), and PS4 are all included in the rent. Landlord has also installed new blinds throughout the apartment. Electricity is divided by four people every 3 months (around $100 each), that is the ONLY bill. Building has direct access to the water with own jetty. There is also a waterside swimming pool for hot days. There is ample, unrestricted street parking just out front. Apartment also has space for some storage downstairs. Rent is $1,071 per Month. $249 per week x 4.3 weeks in a month = $1,071 Talk soon, thanks. Scott

Hello! I am a young professional who works in finance/accounting in the city. I have a very calm and sweetly natured 4 year old cat. She is always indoors. I also have all my own furniture so prefer an unfurnished room, and if possible a place to put my couch, tv and coffee table at least (even if storage) :) I lived with my similarly aged sister for about 6 years and then moved out on my own into Drummoyne for a year. I love living in the area! I generally prefer to be out during the day and in during the night. I like to keep my spaces clean and organised, and don't mind trying something new in the kitchen from time to time! I am looking for a private room, preferably in a house or somewhere with a courtyard/balcony at least, and it must have it's own bathroom or ensuite. I have a car and will really want a carspace but if not, easy street parking is a must. I like to have my personal space but I am looking forward to meeting some interesting people and sharing time with them!
I'm Rob. Looking at somewhere closer to work preferably with 1 other person (max 2). I work full time 5 days Monday to Sunday in sports media. I also travel for work so I'm not always around but when i am i love sitting back and taking 5, listening to music, watching the Netflix and having a beer/scotch/wine whenever possible!
Hi! I'm a student who works full time hours! I'm not around a lot but when I am I love a good chat and a drink! I've been living out of home for the last three years in Sydney. I'm a very tidy, respectful person!
Hi Sandra & Tim here, We will arrive in Sydney on the 11th of March and are looking for a nice place to stay and start up everything for our big Australia adventure. We are travelling on a Working holiday Visa (1 year). We like to enjoy life and do as much as possible.
Hello, I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney in early to mid March to work full time in Pyrmont. I love plants, fresh air and homely homes. I'm always up for a chat, but also happy with my own company. Cats generally make me smile but also itch, so probably looking for a pet free scenario. :)
I´m actually occupied in Project management, more specific IT management and business consulting. To escape the office life, I came here for entirely new experiences. I succeed my A-Levels last year in Germany and plan to stay here for a couple of months and travel further through southeast Asia. I have lots of weird, funny, lucky, extreme and calming stories from life in Germany and travelling on my mind. I love to cook and enjoy, depending on the mood, wine and/or beer with long conversations. Sports minimum 4 times a week and party as often as possible. Cleaning the accommodation is a must routine for me!
**Move in date: June 1st/2nd** Work transfer from Brisbane to Sydney. New office will be based in Rozelle. So I am looking at surrounding areas to live in, within a 5km radius from Rozelle. About Myself .... ❌Non smoker. ❌No drug. ❌No pet. ❌No children. ✅Working Full Time ✅Clean and tidy. ✅Just minding her own business 😀 ✅pay rent/bill on time. ✅respect your privacy and belongings Looking for .... ⁉️one bedroom + own bathroom if possible. ⁉️ a place that has a parking space, or easily can find a spot on/off street. Rental payment will be on time of course. I’ve been sharing a house with the same lady in Brisbane for 4+ years. We got really well and became part of each other’s family. I’ll bring my own cookware set and dinner set if you don’t mind because I don’t want to scratch your pots and break your plates and glasses 😆😉 I may appear bubbly and chatty but I do enjoy my own quiet time too and just binge watch Netflix/Stan (I have my own account) 📺 in my room or maybe we can binge watch together and enjoy some series :) I can cook. Don’t mind sharing a meal or two and we can take turn ☺️ Wouldn’t mind evening or morning walk over the weekend, watch movies or go to Pilates or yoga class (well I need start going to classes again pronto! I’ve been such a slack these past several months 🤣). 🤸🏻♀️
Hey there, To tell you a bit about myself, I'm sociable, easy-going, 26 and Australian. I work full-time in Operations for a not-for-profit, and spend my spare time catching up with friends, going to the gym, exploring Sydney, frequenting local cafes and restaurants, and generally keeping busy. I enjoy a good banter, but also respect everyone's need for down time. I'm looking to move in with like-minded people, who want to create a home and who I can hopefully become friends with. Happy to move into an established home, or start a new one. I can be flexible with move-in dates. If you think I might be a suitable fit for what you're looking for, it would be great to hear from you. Thanks, Zsofi :)
I am a business owner with a bachelor's degree in engineering and a master's degree in business administration who works from home in the IT space. I am young at heart and enjoy going out with friends, keeping fit, skiing and karaoke. I am easy-going, open-minded, non-judgemental, reliable, clean and tidy, intelligent and respectful. I have a great sense of humour and love a good conversation. More than willing to share domestic duties. And since I work from home, I am prepared to make a bigger contribution to rent and utilities.
Hi I am Jean-Pierre, french national permanently living in Sydney for the last 20 years. I work full time at Sydney Ferries on boats. I am described as quiet, funny and easy going. Outside of work, which takes a big chunk of my time, I like quiet time at home enjoying reading, painting and mostly working on my photography making. I prefer cooking at home as opposed to eating out ( it happens on occasions) and though I try to be efficient with cooking aiming at quick but healthy meals I also much appreciate the sharing of food. I do shift work and at time leave very early and at other time come back rather late btwn 1.30/12.30am. I have my own bed and few items to set up my room so I prefer a non furnished room. I have also few other item (a fridge and some kitchen utensils that I would like to be able to store away, a small corner of a garage would be great. It would be nice to be able to find a quiet place with like minded people. Looking forward to get to know you. JP
Hi there, Professional , clean tidy , social , quiet and respectful guy. Seeking a drama free , happy place to call home😊 Into health, fitness , yoga, art ... All the cool stuff ! Look forward to meeting with you shortly, Cheers Tommy
I just accepted a new job in Sydney and will be relocating from Brisbane. During the week I will be working regular office hours in the city and on the weekends I’ll be mostly out and about. I’ve never lived in Sydney before so will be looking to explore and discover as much as possible. In my spare time I’ll hit the gym, go jogging, meet friends or head outdoors. I’m a clean, quiet person who likes their alone time but more than happy to have a beer and shoot the breeze with housemates.
