Hi! My name is Matt I'm a 2017 APS grad working at the Australian National Audit Office in the social services branch. I've been in Canberra for a little while now and really like it! I'm looking to move into a two-bedroom unit and need a buddy to team up with :) I'm a very clean/tidy and house-proud person and would appreciate a flatmate with the same values. I'm looking to move somewhere in the outer suburbs (which in Canberra means a 15-20min drive to the city lol). The units in the outer suburbs tend to be brand new and less than $500 a week I'm very friendly and have all the furniture and appliances needed so please get in touch if you're interested!
Great for young professionals wanting to live/work close to Woden/the City (only 10 mins drive). An unfurnished room is available in a spacious, three-bed room, two-storey town house. The room is quite big, with a built-in-robe and private bathroom. The house has NBN, Netflix, and a private pool for the complex. Please note the rent does not include bills, and all bills (electricity/ gas/ internet) will be split equally. About us - You'll be sharing with two amazing housemates (ha!). First housemate is a 29 year old working full time and studying her Masters. Second housemate is a nurse in her mid-20s, and has recently moved from Sydney. We're both fairly chilled and definitely not party animals. Some nights we watch the latest thing on Netflix, while other nights we are happy to keep to ourselves. We are both very clean and like to keep the place tidy. I'm also a non-drinker and a vegetarian and would ideally prefer someone who is similar, or is respective of this in the house. Lastly, I have an adorable (yet slightly crazy) cat - thus unfortunately no other pets will be allowed. We're after a female housemate who is responsible, honest, tidy and respects other's privacy and space. If you'd like to know more, please get in touch and we can arrange a time for me to show you the house. In your msg please also tell me a little about yourself and what you're looking for in a house and a housemate. :)

Hey I'm Tegan, I'm 21 and work in School Age Care at Theodore primary. I'm currently living in a small studio in red hill but I'm finding it a bit lonely living alone, so I'd like to find a group house! I have a 2 year old rag doll cat, named Leo. his very well behaved and is toilet trained. His good with other animals and children. I'm pretty social but I'm also happy to give you privacy. I would like to live with someone who is happy to hangout now and then. I like to have a laugh and be silly so living with someone who is abit similar would be fun 😊😊
LOOKING FOR THIRD PERSON FOR TEAM UP, WITH BUDGET OF 200$ OR MORE Hello! (Me) 20 year old female student at ANU studying Sociology (Jimmy) 23 year old male with full time job Jimmy and I are desperately looking for a third person to team up with us to get a home. We're currently trying to apply to 8 different three bedroom homes in the areas listed in "Preferred Locations" (Belconnen, Latham, Wright, Scullin, Mawson). These homes range from 490$ to 600$ and are all within a 18 minute drive to the city (some even less than 10 minutes) and all are near to a bus stop. I have a budget of 200$ max including bills and Jimmy has a maximum of 275$ including bills. With that being said, whichever home we get we would split the pay by size of room. All the homes we are looking at have a master bedroom and en suite, which will be Jimmy's, while you and I would share a bathroom. All these houses do not have furniture, other than basic appliances so we would need to build this nest together. If you have your own furniture that'd be great too! It is getting more and more difficult to find a place in Canberra so we are really desperate! Because of the urgency of the situation we are looking for someone who has all the documents ready to rent a place. This includes proof of income as well as proof of identity and references among other things. If you are relying on Centrelink payments you would also need a guarantor (aka mum or dad). So if you are even mildly interested I can send you all the information on the 8 houses we will be applying to as well as the necessary documents needed. Until we get a third person we won't be able to apply so the faster you can get these documents in, the faster we can get a place! Send me a message with any questions and I'll reply you ASAP! Thanks a bunch xx
Good-sized bedroom for rent in a near new 2-bedroom apartment in Wright. Available for short-term stays up to six weeks, but may consider longer depending on the circumstances. Comes with own bathroom, secure undercover car space and access to the swimming pool contained within the complex. Room is furnished with a queen bed and has a large built-in robe. The kitchen is on the small side, so is probably more suited to someone who doesn't cook much at home. There will be some space for you in the fridge and kitchen cupboards. Rent is inclusive of bills and internet. Great location! Most of Canberra is within a 15 minute drive - City, Woden, Belconnen, Tuggeranong. There are also good bus links to City/ANU, Woden and Cooleman Court. Stromlo Park is just up the road and has lots of walking and cycling tracks. Ideally looking for a mature professional or student who is tidy, friendly and considerate. Non-smoker preferred.
I'm a full-time student moving from Brisbane after just finishing degrees in Engineering and Science at the University of Queensland. I'll be starting an Astrophysics PhD at the Australian National University (Mt Stromlo Observatory) in March. I'm very chilled out, mature, tidy, not easily annoyed, enjoy having friendly chats, and exploring all that Canberra life has to offer! I like to keep the house clean, and am very respectful of others' personal space. I'm also pretty light-hearted, and enjoy socialising and having a laugh. I'd be most interested in living with other like-minded students, but also enjoy interacting with all different types of people.
The house is in a great location, it's only a 15 minute drive to Kingston, a 10 minute drive to the city and a five minute drive to Woden. The house is a new three-bedroom, fully furnished, two-storey townhouse. The room for rent is spacious (roughly 3.6m x 3.15m) and includes a large built-in-robe and own air-conditioning/heating unit. You will have your own master bathroom, which includes a sizeable tub. Also included in the rent is an underground carpark and unlimited NBN internet. The electricity and gas bills are not included in the rent, they will be split between two.
3rd year Law student from country NSW looking for a room in either the inner north, inner south or Weston Creek area. I spend most of my time either at Uni, work or with my horse. I'm a no fuss kind of housemate, clean and considerate. Consideration of pets would be a plus because I'm thinking of getting a dog but this isn't a deal breaker!
Looking for a fun, outgoing considerate flatmate for a furnished room in a brand new 2x bedroom apartment. The room will come with a King single, linen, wardrobe, lamp, bedside table etc. The apartment will be fully furnished, so you will only need to bring yourself. If you have a car parking will be on the street however if you do not have a car the unit is situated very close to main bus stops.
Clean & tidy, quiet, ready for a chat, loves diving. Likes cooking and respect other spaces. Ready to make new friends. Likes to grow veggies!
The house is in the perfect position for easy access to major roads to get around Canberra. The local shops and post office is a 5min walk away, which also includes a bus stop. The bigger shopping centres are short driving distances away with Cooleman Court 2mins, Woden 7mins, Tuggeranong, City and Belconnen 15mins away. The house features: - Renovated bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet - Large separate renovated laundry - Separate renovated toilet - Ducted gas heating - Air conditioning - Instant gas hot water - Polished floorboards throughout - Modernised kitchen - Open plan living/dining/kitchen - ADSL internet - Lots of natural light - Fully furnished house with appliances - Off street parking - Friendly Airedale Terrier dog, lives inside but doesn’t shed The room is available immediately and is unfurnished apart from a wardrobe, which can be removed on request.

I'm a pretty laid back, quiet, neat, tidy and friendly person. Looking for someone similar to share a house with, and I'd really prefer to team up and start a new house. I have a super chill labradoodle, who will be living with my folks, but might come for the occasional visit. I play soccer and AFL, so am out most evenings during the week for training and on weekends for games. In my downtime, I like to read and binge watch Netflix, and don't mind the odd spot of baking- just need somone to help me eat the treats I make! Hi I'm Alex, currently looking for a room around south or inner south Canberra. Either a room for rent or happy to combine with others to create a share house if need be. Don't mind be social and having a few drinks etc but respect others privacy as well. Feel free to contact me if you would like to know more or talk.
I am a new APS grad relocated from Sydney. I'm always keen to meet new people and start new adventures. I enjoy exploring, travelling, road trips, new experiences, social drinking and chill things like Netflix or a friendly board game. I'm clean and tidy and respect the common areas of the property as if it were mine. I hope to find some flatmates that I can be friends with. However if not, I understand how to respect privacy.
Fun, tidy and easy-going, I'm a bit of a goofball, I love music and books and art. I've been in many share houses over the years and I will always do my part when it comes to keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. I enjoy/need my quiet time and may have quiet days, but also love to sit around with a beer or glass of wine and have a chat. I have a pet cat who is very good with other animals and warms up to new people quite easily, I promise you'll love him. I'm from a small country town in Central West NSW but have lived in Canberra for a year now, studying and working. Won't be studying this year but will be working. Would love to find a pre-existing place that accepts pets or team up with some people to form a new share house. Ideally would like to team up with 2 others similar in age who are cat friendly and looking to live in the inner North or South of the city. I have a lot of furniture that I can bring along. In my down time, I usually spend time in the garden, going for walks, or reading and I love hitting up Canberra's jazz bars and live music scene for a drink and/or a dance. I will wait up and watch GoT/Stranger Things with you each week, share my chocolate (sometimes) and show you silly youtube videos.
Recent uni grad, moving to Canberra for a new job. Looking for a place to call home. Like to stay at home just as much as I like to go out. I have a few friends in Canberra but will be looking to make more and would like a place where it's ok to have them over for a drink or a BBQ (and for you to join us).

I'm moving to Canberra in early February (can move in earlier or later) to work full time in finance in the APS. I'm clean and tidy and enjoy cooking/baking. I love animals so I'm happy to live in a household with pets. I’m pretty active outside of work with volunteering for various causes and also enjoy hiking and other cool activities. On the other hand, I love a day at home just chilling out crafting, watching Netflix and cross stitching and am more than happy to have company when I’m at home. I'm considerate of other people's space but also enjoy socialising.
I'm looking for a self contained place to rent with a room (or two). Ideally even with a bit of storage/car space. Rent negotiable especially if bills are included. I'm 41 years old; a non-smoker; quiet (certainly no parties or drinking anything) and clean. I work full time at John James Hospital in Deakin and go to Orange for the week-end once a month. Could move in sooner but towards the end of Feb would be great. Thanks

I'm a barista and aspirant musician! My current interests include music, gaming and coffee culture. I mostly like to keep to myself however would usually be up for some chats and hangs! I don't often drink or stay out late on weekends, but I have been known to on occasion. My plan is to get myself settled into the share house life before starting uni full-time in 2018.
Hello!! I'm looking for a room in a share house for six months before I head overseas. I know I'm young but I've been living independently out of home for the last year. I work full time and study part time at ANU (art history + curatorship). I have a particular love for film and live music and sew often. I am tidy and respectful of others' space but am also looking for some fun housemates. I'm keen for a backyard so that I can garden and keep a compost bin.
