Originally from the Gold Coast, I am a second year IR and PPE student at ANU. I am clean, respectful but friendly so I love to hang out and have great conversations. I like cooking (and sharing ;) ), movies and occasionally a fun night out. Looking for someone to share the events of the day with, have a drink on Friday night and eat ice-cream while watching Netflix.
I’m a 26 y/o female new to the town of Canberra. Hoping to find a friendly house that doesn’t mind a little 4 legged friend (cocker spaniel dog) running around. I’m a person who doesn’t mind a bit of chit chat in the afternoon but also likes my own space sometimes. I travel away a lot on weekends doing music and catching up with my friends back home. Currently working full time as a carpenter
Hi I'm Kirsty, I'm a 23 year old ANU arts/law student who is working full time in hospitality. I'm returning from exchange in France in September and would love a room in an existing share house ideally in walking distance from Civic where I work. I'm pretty social but will also be working a lot so won't be home all that much. When I am home I enjoy cooking for my house mates and sharing a bottle of wine over dinner. I enjoy playing sports and going out for drinks on the weekends (when I'm not working)! Please let me know if you have anything suitable :)
Canberra veteran, returning for post-graduate study at the ANU, staying well into the foreseeable future. Looking for a room in a shared property. Can cook basic meals, cleanly and animal friendly. In short, I am mostly a "no-fuss" tenant, who is content to work into the flow of the household/flat. In addition, I will be timely in making rental payments and other expenses. Require a park as I will be running a car. Cheers, Fergus
Hi everyone, My name is John, I'm a 28 years old professional who works full time (and then some), just got sponsored by my company (really happy about that). I had been living in Sydney for the past 4 and a half years. Newish to Canberra. I'm a respectful and friendly guy who finds it very easy to get along with pretty much anyone, mostly keep it to myself, but am more than happy to socialize, share a meal, a beer (or a couple). I also take pride in living in a clean and organized home (wherever home might be) so will always be a positive influence in leaving the place looking nice, like to clean often, have my own portable vacuum etc. I have shared houses, flats plenty of times before and made some of the best of friends while doing so. I like sports, going to the gym, the outdoors, road trips, surfing, camping etc. Would need a parking spot big enough for a 4x4. It would be a big plus for me if the place had a dog as I love animals (cats, dogs, parrots you name it) All the best, Cheers
Hi! I'm a third year ANU student and part-time staffer looking for a sharehouse for when I get back from exchange in July. I'm looking for a friendly and social group of roommates who enjoy having a chat and sharing an occasional meal together, while of course respecting the need for personal space. I'm pretty easygoing, considerate and tidy. I love travel, hiking, the occasional game of tennis and healthy baking. While I'm often quite busy between uni and part-time work, I'm always up to share activities like these when there's time! Move in date flexible :) Feel free to get in touch!
Looking to move to Canberra when I return from overseas. I’m 24 and have lived with housemates for years. Been back packing since January and need somewhere to live when I get home. Currently applying for jobs in Canberra. I am a qualified forensic scientist and criminologist, looking to start my career. Plan on getting a casual job as soon as possible, once I move. I’m tidy but not a neat freak. Currently know nobody in Canberra, so I won’t have parties! Looking for a friendly but fairly quiet house to live in.
hi im jessie, dog person (i dont know why but cats beat me sometimes) just moved to canberra a week ago after post graduated. i had lived in the same shared house for years and keep a nice relationship with (almost) everyone there. im clean and tidy, not cook much, vacuum my room every week and sometimes the public area (depending on the length of the wire). btw I’m in my late 20s, become less mouthy these years. it took me days to finish this description. my budget goes 280 in city or 250 for kingston around.
Hello, I am an intern at the Embassy of the Netherlands, so I will be working 5 days a week. I am clean and tidy and I have lived with roommates before, so therefore know how to respect privacy :) I'm the most fun person you'd ever live with. I'm very social, I tell great stories, my specialty is cooking anything with cheese, but I also like to be by myself.
If you’re looking for a housemate who is considerate, gets along with anyone and fun to be around- then that’s me! I work in the entertainment industry (lighting/sound) and are looking for a place to stay while i work full time in Canberra. I am very easy-going and practical person who enjoys cooking, keeping fit, gaming, Netflix and music. Love socialising with housemates but also like to have my own space every now and then. So Hi, im Tristan. Feel free to message for anything
I’m Jorja. 28, and surprise, surprise, a public servant here in Canberra. I’m pretty active, enjoy playing netball, and looking forward to snowboarding soon for winter. Big fan of wine too, and just hanging out watching TV or playing board games. Also, I’ve got a friendly (and gorgeous) 7 year old cat who has lived in with people in my share houses before, and is good with dogs.
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Can move in anytime.
Hi, I’m a student from Malaysia looking for a place to stay in Canberra for one month. I’m tidy and easy-going and I also respect your personal space. I go to the gym but also enjoy reading at home or chilling with friends over a cup of coffee or beer.
I'm a friendly public servant from Perth moving to the ACT for 6 months. I get easily hooked on good tv shows (hurry up GoT!), I like wine and lame jokes, and am a bit of a foodie. I’m a tidy person, easy going and eager to prove myself a considerate housemate, so if I sound like someone that would fit in with your household, send me a message!
My name is Ben, I'm 25-years-old and I study a Bachelor of Science at the ANU (Majoring in Science Communication). I'm a quite, clean and respectful person, I love cooking, doctor who, good design, growing herbs, animals of all sizes, creating cool stuff and collecting old books. I also work part-time as a barista in braddon and as a bartender/waitstaff at a restaurant in civic. I'm looking for a place to move into in the next few weeks. Feel free to send me a message :)
Hi, I am fifty six and get along with people of all ages; most of my friends are in their thirties. I have lived in few share places, with some friends and also did some house-sitting over the last four years. I like to socialise and spend time with friends. I plan to do study next year. In the past I have done counselling, retail, public service work as well as self-publishing five books on Amazon. I like music gigs, art and movies and I guess you could call me a spiritual person. I have been involved in the LGBTQI community and also with the Refugee Action Committee. I am just overcoming chronic fatigue and I have a peripheral vision loss but am quite functional. I hope to find the right people in the right place. Thank you.
