I'm very friendly, enjoy living in a well kept and clean home. Have lived out of home for many years and understand the needs for respect for others :)
I'm friendly quiet But also love a good conversation
I'm currently looking to move to Canberra from the south coast, I am currently employed full time down here and I'll be searching for a full time job in Canberra + studying. 🙂 I'm a very clean person. Enjoy meeting new people. Enjoy a fun weekend out every now and then but other than that I’m pretty quiet
Hello, im from Germany and heading back to Canberra in november 2017. So im looking for a room or something in Canberra Region. Doesnt matter exactly where but should be clean and cool. Im funny open and respectful. Im working full time in the construction branch. So if you could fix my needs dont feel shy to message me. :)
Well I guess I'm pretty easy to get along with, I clean up after myself, and I'm nothing bad (eg racist, masogonist, homophobe etc). I graduated from the ANU and am now a permanent public servant, I like fitness, music, reading, sports, laughter, cleanliness, meeting new people, travel, and friends. I could go on but I'll leave it at that :) Jake
I currently work full time in hospitality, have a beautiful 1 year old dog, and have had over 2 years experience living out of home. Im clean, respectable and quiet, but love to mingle with my house mates and enjoy a drink or 2 after a long day. Very reliable and friendly!
I've lived out of home for about 3 years, I like to keep the house tidy and tend to procrasta-clean when studying. I have quite a lot of furniture that could be used in common areas. Work part-time in Gungahlin and Fyshwick, Study B. Heritage and Conservation the rest of the time at UC. Honestly, I'll have the occasional night out but am otherwise pretty quiet or not home. I'm happy to live in a situation where we hang out sometimes, share supplies and whatever else or, complete opposite end of the scale, happy to live completely separate lives under the same roof, doesn't bother me. I also have a 1 year old Kelpie cross Boxer, who's full of energy and very smart, so I'm looking for somewhere pet friendly preferably with a yard. I'm happy to live with other dogs too as shes very well socialized and loves other dogs, I walk her every day and am happy to take any extras on the walk too. So if you're also looking for a pet friendly place or have one available please get in touch!
Hi there, names Erin :) I'm a second year uni student, work part time. Super easy going person, happy to share bathrooms and coordinate dinners or not depending on what you're up for. I would prefer a room mate that enjoys hanging out on occasion, whether that be staying in and having a Netflix binge or heading out for the night. I'm definitely a social person but also really value my alone time. Looking for a place preferably shared with young females but I'm pretty open to whatever pops up in a good location for me :)
Hi my name is Tom. I'm currently living in North Queensland but am looking to move down to Canberra to continue my apprenticeship as a mechanic. I have 2 dogs where I am now but they do not need to accompany me at the moment. I mostly just play guitar and console games in my spare time but I also enjoy going on bush walks, short road trips or even just walks at night around the neighbourhood. I feel like I'm easy to get along with and am not easily bothered by much. I'm looking to move down to Canberra maybe late this year or early next year but honestly the sooner the better so I can continue my training. If you'd like to chat just send me a message.
Forde is an excellent suburb, open and spacious with lots of green areas. We are at the end of the lake in Forde so we have beautiful views over the lake. Our house is a 2 min walk from the bus stop. You can go for a nice 7km run around the lake here. We have 1 student room available which is spacious and sunny. It is a shared bathroom between maximum of 3 students, with each their own sink. We have a cute dog that is small, a jack russel crossed with a chihuahua, who loves cuddles and is harmless.
Hi, quite room available in a relatively new 4 bedroom house in Forde (Northern Canberra). Sharing with one male owner (50) and one Female Uni student. Off street parking. Buses close by and I travel to Belconnen each day for work. Big downstairs area, 2 private areas for tv, dinning room, nice modern kitchen. 3 outdoor areas for quite times. Not much of a party person, so more suited to non party types (students, travelers, non-couples). Prefer to do own food shopping/cooking and meals. However open to some shared meals and cooking. Lake close by for walks as well as bushland and parks. Bike paths everywhere, can ride to Belconnen in 30 mins. Buses into the city or Belconnen easy to catch. There is a morning express bus directly from Forde to the city and beyond with the bus stop only 100 meters from house. Occasionally like to travel to coast, camping or nearby towns. Other times, like the documentary shows on tv, Big Bang Theory, movies, current affairs and some real life shows. But two tv rooms so can easily have different tv viewing habits. Bills and internet could be included if moderate use only - Internet plan is not an unlimited plan. Parking may have to be on the street or there is one space in the driveway, safe area and under street-light. Prefer people who know how to clean up after themselves and are tidy/respectful of others in the house. Shared with other ladies and international students/backpackers before and we shared house hold cleaning, washing dishes, etc. Have had students, female international backpackers and male professionals staying here. females from mid 20's upwards have been best tenants. Will be one Female Uni Student and Male owner at the moment. Elec, gas and water bills can be included along with internet if moderate use otherwise can discuss. Any questions, message me and I should be able to answer them, look forward to hearing from you.
We would like to share our beautiful home with a single person. The home is 5 years old with large gourmet kitchen with attached butlers pantry, sunny family room and dining, with a choice of outdoor entertaining areas set in a lovely garden. Your room is situated downstairs at the front of the house. It is large and has an attached ensuite and built in robe. It is fully furnished including desk, bookcase and comfy armchair. The room is smart wired and has NBN fibre. All utilities including gas, electricity and internet included in the rent. You would have full access to all areas of the house downstairs. The home has underfloor heating, including in bathroom, and reverse cycle aircon. All bedding and linen can be supplied. Would suit someone commuting to Canberra for work, or those on short term contracts. Our home is located at the top of the rise opposite farmland and parks and has sweeping views south and east over Canberra. Buses run regularly from the bottom of the the street. There is a convenience/coffee shop and medical centre also at the end of the street. Casey Marketplace which houses a supabarn and Aldi along with a selection of food outlets and lovely pub, and gym is 10 minutes walk down the road. Weekly rent is $250. This is negotiable if willing to do some yard or housework. Located 5 mins drive from Gungahlin township, 10 minutes drive from Belconnen and 20-30 minutes drive from the city, depending on traffic. STRICTLY NON SMOKERS ONLY NEED APPLY.
Hello! Working part-time whilst studying in IT looking for other roommates to share a house with. I'm a chill housemate, neat & friendly always up for a drink or two. In my spare time I would either be on the PC, Playing guitar or out on the motorbike.
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors. - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social.
