I am currently renting a flat at the Sunshine Coast and will be moving to Yeppoon area before 1 February. I am a healthy and vibrant 72 year-old; I do not feel 72 and I am glad I have 72 years of fantastic experiences.

The length of stay I've entered as 1 month, but it can be longer and the move in date can also be sooner in January. During the time I am there, I will be applying for my own place. I prefer to pay maximum $350 but I can pay more if need be.

I have called Australia home since 1999, (originally from San Diego), and am now fully retired after a 28-year career in computer science, including 18 years of project work for major organisations such as Commonwealth Bank, ING, Qantas, Virgin Airlines, the Department of Environment and Resource Management QLD, Emergency Management Victoria, and the Attorney-General’s Department NSW.

I am also a trained Montessori teacher, Neuro-Linguistic Programming practitioner, Mediation (conflict resolution) practitioner, hold a Certificate IV in Youth Work, and a Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. These experiences have honed my organisational skills, calm demeanour, and ability to create harmonious environments.

Over 2.5 years, I successfully completed numerous house-sits where I have cared for 26 dogs and 25 cats(with seven providing positive written references). I am happy to provide copies of these references upon request, along with contact details for the owners.
