I am software developer currently working 3 days in office and 2 days from home. I need a room in the small street, far from big road.

In free time I can help with house and garden maintenance doing small plumbing and electric repairs, scything the grass, cutting the firewood, etc. During last two years I did several small but critical repairs saving several thousands of dollars for landlord.

I need some room in quiet place without whatever noises from a/c , TV , road, etc. , within 2 km distance from train station.

I want to change my current location because landlord rents out the rooms by setting the price above the market and then letting in the first person who is ready to pay the price. As a result we have an endless stream of problematic people of all types and already had a lot of incidents of very different nature. This is very entertaining but I want to try to find a place where I would not risk my life so often.

So I am looking for another location without whatever hurry and actually I would prefer a big estate on the outskirts of the town where I could help landlord to keep the house and garden in non-collapsing condition.
