I'm friendly, approachable, honest and ethical. Pride myself on being non judgemental and empathetic. Like to laugh, have fun, then retreat and be quiet.

It's hard to describe that I'm a young 50+ but I really am. I'm technically employed but am unable to work as I'm in medical treatment for PTSD after a violent workplace injury and am now awaiting the outcome of a legal case. My income is secure. I used to be a Welfare worker looking after children and adolescents who were living in out of home care.

So, my time is now spent recovering physically with hydrotherapy and other exercise. I have a small group of friends I do activities with occasionally to get me out and about. The rest of the time I live very quietly, more often than not playing on the Nintendo Switch and I'm part of a fantastic gaming community where we watch Twitch streams. I’m also addicted to Kdramas and have recently become a Stay (fan of Stray Kids which keeps me young!) I like to be sociable and have a chat, but then I also need a lot of alone time, so keep to myself, unless anyone's up for playing a game! :) I'm a balanced lefty pissed off at the state of the world!

I like things to be clean and tidy and will always respect the common spaces. But I also have a "don't sweat the small stuff" philosophy. There's bigger things in life to worry about. I just need somewhere safe and chill to be so I can concentrate on rebuilding my life and preparing for my court case/hopeful settlement mid next year. I am looking for somewhere for hopefully the next 12 months.

I used to house share in England for the better part of a decade so I'm experienced in sharing space and the consideration, respect and communication that needs to happen for that to work well. I'd appreciate a meet up so potential housemates can see who I am, but also due to my PTSD I need to feel safe too. Please note I have no social media presence to view due to my legal case, so you’ll have to check me out in person!
