Hi there, my name is River (She/her, 31)

I’m coming from Tolga (previously Melbourne) and I'm looking for a room in Atherton or Mareeba as I'm about to start a full-time job in the region!

I’m quiet, chill, clean, respectful, and consider myself a reliable housemate. I like having a communal community feel and social home hangouts but also like my downtime to myself. I love reading, playing video games or music, or being outside on my bike or cruiser longboard, or swimming. I also enjoy going out to the city for gigs or general nightlife. I am looking for others that are social but also respect boundaries and alone time!

I have no pets, single, and a non-smoker. I also have my own car (hilux single cab ute). I’m looking for a room I can call my own for at least 6 months with the potential for longer.

The only thing wrong with my current rental is no undercover parking, my car is very precious to me and not waterproof in the old canopy so I'm after a carport or garage to store it in. I'm very handy and spend a lot of time working on it with my tools, most recently I put gas struts on the side window which I'm so happy about! I'd like to use this car for work later down the track and resume my electrical apprenticeship.

I'll probably spend some weekends back in Tolga with my family, and I usually cook a big pasta on a Sunday for meal preps.
