I moved to Victoria from Perth back in September-October of 2024, have been living with my mum (family friend who I refer to as mum) for that period of time. I like to keep to myself and stick to my hobbies of drawing or gaming since those are things I really enjoy doing especially with my online friends. I am also a volunteer with Uniting Services for youth work

I’ll admit that I’m a shy person at first when meeting new people but when I get to know them more down the line, I am friendly and bubbly. But do keep in mind, there will be times that I will keep to myself a huge majority of the time since I like to be in my own space, so I’ll be out of the way almost all the time.

I do have a 1-2 year old cat named Seamus who’s shy but he is well behaved, litter trained and will mostly cling to me due to his shy and timid nature. I’ve had Seamus since November 2024, I adopted him from Animal Aid and he is kept up with his vaccinations, from what I experienced he is friendly towards other animals.

I’m looking to find a place asap since I can’t stay with my mum anymore due to the lack of space (I’ve been on a mattress in her lounge room) and because her son, who had been living in Sydney for university, will be coming home in March. Yes, I am receiving Centrelink benefits but rest assured that I can pay my rent in time, I’ve been paying my mum $520 a fortnight in rent and can keep up with my finances. I am however actively looking for work so that I can increase my finances to eventually get my own private rental.
