Family, community, cooperation, good communication, and a sense of humour are all important to me.

I've lived in New Zealand, California, Fiji - and Australia for 25 years. Also I've been very fortunate to work and live with people from many different countries and cultures. I feel enriched and grown by the experience of seeing the world from other peoples' perspective.

With good communication and relational skills grown from years of life experiences, I continue to learn to listen, to respect others' points of view, and strive for empathy, tolerance and peaceful ways to communicate.

I enjoy connecting with my housemates in conversation. respect their needs, am quiet e.g. use a headset when watching movies. Housemates and home owners over the years have said they barely hear me.

My life is simple, healthy living, meditation, yoga, reading, writing, time with my friends, and doing small projects together with others e.g. gardens. Love to walk and be in nature - bush, ocean, farmland, beautiful views. Enjoying dogs, cats, and many other much loved pets and farm animals, as a house sitter I've cared for so many including camels.

I look after my living space, keeping it clean and tidy, and enjoy making it attractive. It is my sanctuary, a space to relax and regenerate - a special place to come home to.

PS I'm a low power user e,g, as much as possible prefer to use lamps in my own spaces rather than overhead lights, laptop only, no TV ...
