Hello!

My name is Dunja. I am a 30-year-old psychologist from the Netherlands, currently living in Melbourne. I moved to Australia from Amsterdam in 2023. After two years in Melbourne I've decided I want to move to WA :)

Melbourne is quite hectic and I'm craving a way of life that is a bit slower, with more space, surrounded by nature, and hopefully beautiful connections in a grounded and open-minded community. I reckon Perth has it all! After traveling there recently I would love to get to know it better. Planning to make the move in March 2026.

I'm hoping to find a beautiful share house, ideally with a lush garden and not too far from the coast. Would love to pick up surfing lessons. When it comes to housing I always pick my homes very carefully - I'm sensitive to energy and find it important to create a sanctuary where there's room both for peace and joy. Communication comes easy to me, and I really value when living with people who also easily express themselves (with compassion and respect of course). Since I'll be relatively new to the area, I'll likely be very open to doing fun activities and/or meeting people! That being said, I'm also someone who requires a lot of down time and after a busy day or week I like just pottering around in my own space.

Work wise I currently still work for a practice in Melbourne, and in addition I have my own (online) practice. When I move to Perth I will likely work online from home a lot. That means I either need a spacious bedroom or a separate study to work from.

I love pets, but won’t bring one myself. I don’t smoke. Some of my interests include: (live) music, film, psychology, reading, spirituality, exploring nature and creativity. I like the occasional drink and/or boogie, but my party days are behind me and I am looking for housemates who also value living a healthy life :)
