Hello! I'm currently leasing a great little tropical house in Palmerston but I'd love to live in Darwin proper, where I could walk or bicycle to all the good things the city has on offer: live music venues, organic food, swimming pools, Deck Chair Cinema etc. I'm looking for a well-ventilated, green-view house or townhouse within a 10-minute walk to an OL1/OL2 express bus stop to Palmerston so I can read on my way to work.

I love solitude so living alone works for me but I'd also be more than happy to share with someone, especially if it's a good space for sharing.

I travel a lot for work (full-time, at Aboriginal Housing NT); I'm anti-racist (definitely going to vote YES in the referendum), age- and queer-friendly – community-minded and diversity-appreciative. Also love the planet, so try to reduce, reuse, re-purpose.

Years ago as a uni student I cleaned houses for money so I'm good at it – and appreciate when things are clean. It just *feels* better. Speaking of which, I have a fairly strong preference for timber flooring, but I know that might be a hard ask around here so ok... rugs. (I have a good vacuum cleaner ;) And in case I'm coming across as a clean freak, I also worship the gods of relaxation. So, everything in moderation!

I've got a bit of furniture but most of it I'd be willing to ditch if need be. I'd love to find somewhere I can stay for 2 years, until mid-2025.
