I'm Ian. I'm 45 and a baker. I'm originally from the US and usually live in Tasmania with my wife and kids, but I've just started a 6 month contract at a friend's bakery. I'm incredibly passionate about what I do. When I'm not baking naturally leavened bread and pastry, I'm usually thinking about it and reading everything I can on the related science. I've built up a global reputation as a baker. I'm on insta under the name 'a piece of bread' (no spaces) if you want to know more about me and what I do. I work a lot and keep to myself when I'm at home, but I'm always happy to have a conversation and share my interests with you. I'm lowkey and an easy housemate to have around.
