Hello,

My name is Alex and my dream is world peace. I've just changed careers from peacebuilding to family mediation and generally enjoy helping people resolve conflicts. I'm now moving to Gosford for an exciting new job.

My strengths are empathy, communication, being chill and patient. I'm also tidy and responsible.

I love the beach lifestyle, whether that's going for a jog or a swim or trying (badly) to catch a few waves. I play chess, guitar, Xbox, board games. I enjoy trivia, live music, drumNbass. I've been getting into salsa and swing and plan to get back to bouldering / climbing and try more hiking.

I'm in the Tough Guy Book Club, enjoy reading and also promoting healthy masculinity amongst men, while challenging toxic masculinity. In 2024 I attended Menergy and it was awesome.

I came to Australia when I was 10 from Moscow, speak Russian and Ukrainian. I lived in Ukraine for 6 years and it's a big part of my life now. That's a long story.

House vibes: I like a balance of being social and having my own space. Happy to play some games now and then, watch some TV or do some joint activities. I can cook quite a few things (borsch, plov, meatballs, vareniki, russian salad, Pad Thai, apple pie) and am always keen to learn new recipes.

I prefer to keep my place clean but am not obsessive about it. I get along with animals so would be happy to live with pets. I also like to have plants around.
