Hey, I’m Mathew – 35, originally from NZ, now working as a trades assistant in the mines out west. Im the one on the right 🙂

I’m looking to move to Toowoomba as renting in Millmerran has been good but I am now in need of the city life. Hoping to find a place with decent vibes and grounded flatmates who appreciate the simple things—like quiet mornings, clean kitchens, and not treating the lounge like a nightclub.

I work a 7-on, 7-off roster, so I’m gone for work half the time (and when I’m back, I usually keep it lowkey—music, nature walks, the occasional sleep-deprived existential crisis). I’m respectful, tidy, and easy to live with. Not a party guy, more of a “brew some tea and chill with a book” type. Bonus points if you like deep chats, good playlists, or just coexisting peacefully.

Would suit a place where people are a bit past the sharehouse chaos phase but still open to a bit of connection and community.

Open to long-term depending on the setup. Budget is around $280–$300/week.
