Hi, I'm Hamish
I work full time in the maritime industry as a skipper and engineer. I'm passionate about the ocean - I love sailing, surfing, diving and fishing.
Currently I'm working for an environmental charity and a whale watching company. Fortunately my hours are quite regular at the moment but I do go away for longer voyages about once every month or two.
I enjoy living with people that I get along with, people who I can share a wine with after work. A strong sense of community in a house is important to me.
I'm also a musician, I play guitar and fiddle with synthesisers (often with headphones on, and never too loud). It would be great to find a place with some fellow musos.
I'm looking for a place in the medium to long term, somewhere warmer than the boat for winter and a nice coastal home base for the summer.
Only interested in a genuine share house - no managed leases please.
