Anita and Hannes

Hi there! We’re Hannes (28) & Anita (30), a couple from Germany currently travelling through Australia on a sabbatical year. Back home, we both work as secondary school teachers — I (Anita) also teach yoga, and Hannes is a passionate surfer.

We love early mornings, ocean swims, cooking fresh meals, and living simply. For fun, you'll find us at the beach, doing yoga, reading, or exploring nature. We’re respectful, tidy, and enjoy a calm, positive home vibe with good conversation and space for downtime.

We’ve both lived in shared flats for years and value clear communication, consideration, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’re currently looking for a cosy, friendly home in Byron where we can settle for a while, ideally with like-minded, kind people who also enjoy a balanced and active lifestyle.
