Hey there! I'm Yannick. I'm 28 years old and made the big decision to move away from Germany and to Australia! Still not sure how everything is gonna go down and I'm actually pretty anxious about it all, especially when it comes to finding a place to live.

I spent 6 weeks in Australia at the beginning of 2025 and loved my time in Wagga; it's just the perfect vibe for me, not nearly as busy as Sydney but not nearly as boring as Canberra^^ And pretty beautiful to boot. So the decision to move there was quite easy.

I'm a trained IT specialist so finding a job shouldn't be too difficult, already made a few arrangements for that but I'll have to see how everything turns out. I have enough money saved up to pay rent for a few months regardless.

I'd ideally be looking for a shared house with one other person, but I'm not picky. I'm a huge music guy, so having the space for a giant Hi-Fi setup would be preferable; in return I can help you with your computer related problems :D.

Be aware that I won't be able to pay any bonds or sign anything until I have my visa approved and my flight booked - I plan on getting both sorted around June/July. The moving date I've stated here is only an approximation (so +/-5 days) and will be the date of my arrival in Australia.
