Hiya,
I'm Ezra, I'm a gay trans man, who is married to Audry (legal name Justin), a queer and genderqueer person, and the father to a Manx kitty named Anton.
I have just found out that I am starting a new job in Lismore in January, as a Trans Mental Health Peer Worker at ACON, and will be relocating from Broken Hill ASAP.
I am also studying Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs at Tafe NSW 2 nights a week, online. Hubby is on a pension, and I will be working & studying.
We are looking for somewhere with queer or queer friendly folk, who are non-judgmental, but besides that we're not fussed, as long as it is near public transport, as I can not drive as I am epileptic.
We are outside smokers. But we don't regularly drink or party, however, we don't care if you so just so long as you respect us and don't interfere with our personal space and our sleep.
We do love to go out and see bands when we can. We are into punk (especially folk punk, anarcho-punk, crust-punk, and hardcore), alternative rock, hip hop, and metal.
We are both political activists, and are involved in prison abolition, pro immigration, anti essential resource hoarding, justice system reformation, and anti prohibition/pro personal choice. We are anti racism, anti sexism, anti fascist, anti queerphobia, anti whorephobia, committed to building a world where everyone has autonomy, dignity, and access to the resources they need to thrive, fundamentally opposed to any system that marginalises, criminalises, or dehumanises people simply for surviving, and fundamentally opposed to any system that marginalises, criminalises, or dehumanises people simply for surviving.
To relax, I play guitar, read, and write; hubby is a gamer, and an artist; and Anton just loves to cuddle.
We don't know anyone in the area, either. So we would love to meet other queer/trans folks, punks and other alternative people, people who are into political activism
