🌻 About Me

Hello dear reader, I hope you are doing well! My name is Ousmane, I’m 29 years old from Paris, and I arrived in Melbourne, Australia, at the end of September for make a work holidays visa. I’m here to explore, learn, and have meaningful experiences while improving my English.
I have already lived in share houses for 4 years in Paris with for 4 peoples, with people I didn’t know at first and with whom I have since become very close. Because of this, I have a strong understanding of shared living and how important respect, communication, and cleanliness are.

I’m looking for a sharehouse while working at Flavorite Farm to make my 88 days.
Ideally, it would be close to the farm. I can pay the rent without any problem, but I’d prefer a place with a low bond, as I’m on a budget.

☀️ Personality

According to Pauline, my best friend in France:
“Ousmane is a sunny person, a bon vivant, full of positive energy, very sociable, humble despite his journey, and he has absolutely no sense of humor 🌻☀️!”

I’d say she’s not completely wrong (except maybe the humor part!). I’m an easygoing, curious person who loves meeting new people and discovering new things.

I’ve been involved in volunteering and humanitarian work, especially with the Red Cross and associations helping elderly people or the homeless. I also lived for two years in an intergenerational seniors residence in France, to live close to elderly people as part of an intergenerational proje I enjoy theatre, volunteering, sports, and of course good food because I truly believe that people who love to eat are always the ones you share the best moments with! I’m a weekend athlete, full of energy, and you’ll often find me playing board games, dancing with friends, or relaxing with a good series. I’ve never drunk alcohol or smoked, but that doesn’t stop me from having tons of energy I’m practically inexhaustible, and I’m always the last one on the dance floor aha !

🎓 Education and my Interests

I hold two Master’s degrees in Human Resources, and I’ve worked as second director in a retirement home aged home and as a Human Resources Business Partner at L’Oréal Luxe. I also hold a private pilot’s license and dream of becoming a commercial airline pilot, which motivates me to improve my English.
