Hi everyone 👋
We’re a couple from Poland (28 & 27) coming to Australia on a WHV and looking for a friendly place to live and good people to share a home with 😊
For the last two seasons we lived and worked in Iceland in shared house with people from all over the world. It became one of our favourite experiences because we really enjoy meeting new people while still respecting routines, work schedules and personal space.
About us I am a physiotherapist, very active, played Handball for 15 years and still into basically any sportPatrycja is a biotechnology engineer and worked in one of the largest wineries in Germany. She’s the planner type always organizing trips and ideas for days off but also an artistic soul. She feels great in the kitchen and naturally brings people together; once she opens up she becomes a really close and loyal friend.
We don’t smoke and live a rather sporty lifestyle. We drink alcohol occasionally, more socially than party-oriented. We worked in busy tourism gastronomy before, so keeping common areas clean and leaving things tidy after ourselves is natural for us.
We like cooking and whenever there’s an occasion we enjoy preparing meals together and sharing food 🍝
We plan to buy a car after arrival. Our daily rhythm depends on work, so we adapt easily to early mornings or later shifts. We’re social and like spending time with housemates, but we’re also happy to relax quietly in our room.
After work you’ll usually find us outdoors, doing some sport, walking or just relaxing and talking.
For the last 4 years our life has been strongly travel-oriented and this year we’re finally making our Australia dream happen 🇦🇺In May we’ll stay near Sydney visiting Patrycja’s family, and from June we plan to move north around Woolgoolga for regional work we already have a potential employer contact there.
We grew up with dogs and currently have two huskies back in Poland, so living around pets is a big plus for us 🐶
