Nurul and Didot

Hi, I’m Nurul from Indonesia. I’m moving to Gatton to start my PhD in Agribusiness and Rural Development at UQ Gatton Campus, supported by a scholarship.

My husband (Didot Tangguh) and I are looking for a room in a shared house suitable for a couple, ideally around Gatton, Forest Hill, Laidley, Ipswich or nearby areas with bus access to UQ Gatton.

Our budget is $350–400 per week for the couple. We are moving in round end of Dec 2026 or early Jan 2027.

We’re respectful, like to clean, and easy-going. My husband works as a tour guide so he likes history and culture. He also pretty handy around the house.

We usually sleep early and wake up a bit early for slow morning, we also don’t party.

We both love hiking, animals (particularly birds for me), and spending time in nature. In my free time, I also enjoy horse riding and going to the gym.
