I am Jemima Moore, 29, Dental Technician, bald. I make teeth (professionally) and ceramic rat sculptures (recreation-ally). I’m moving to Gladstone from Tasmania at the end of March for a new job.
I’m working a 9 day fortnight with a fortnightly RDO. My usual schedule is to be up an hour before that, shower, breakfast, head into work, then eat dinner, prep a lunch, read something, watch a bit of TV (strong bias towards home improvement/real estate shows) or mess around on my laptop and get ready to start all over again.
I’m going to be trying to hit up local classes for swing dance and aerial circus skills and get in touch with the Gladstone area pottery group to see about keeping myself entertained and meeting people in the community. I’m usually quite quiet when I’m at home, especially for the first few months as I adjust to the new area and new workplace and such. I’m planning to spend the first month worth of weekends just exploring and getting to know the area. I’m pretty flexible about lifestyle and happy to socialise in/outside the house depending on what everyone’s comfortable with.
