Hey! I’m Yara, a 25-year-old female postgraduate student from Germany. I’m moving to the Gold Coast in October to start my study-abroad semester at Southern Cross University. I'm someone who loves reading & drawing as well as being active, such as rollerblading or surfing.

I’ve just finished my Master’s in "Transforming Digitality" (after a Bachelor’s in Interactive Media, both in Germany). Since I’ve spent my past semester's breaks backpacking, I’m super excited to experience the Aussie lifestyle and uni life and try out new things!

I’ve lived in shared flats (WGs) for the last five years, so I’m very experienced with communal living. I love a social home where you can have a chat or snack together. That said, I’m very respectful of privacy and believe in keeping the place clean. I’m also well-acquainted with cleaning schedules and keeping shared spaces tidy so everyone stays relaxed.
