Gibir House

Gibir House is a supported temporary accommodation service assisting men experiencing homelessness to transition into safe and stable long-term housing.

Our staff assist guests with searching and applying for suitable accommodation opportunities, including share houses, as many of the people we support may not have access to phones, computers, internet, or the literacy and technology skills required to navigate online applications independently.

We work closely with each guest to identify accommodation that suits both their needs and the existing household dynamic. Our aim is to connect respectful, suitable individuals with homes where they have the opportunity to stabilise and rebuild.

Many of the men we support are simply looking for a fresh start after experiencing hardship such as family breakdown, housing instability, or other life challenges.

Where appropriate, our team remains involved to support communication, tenancy stability, and positive outcomes for both the guest and household.

We understand that every home is different and appreciate your consideration in giving someone an opportunity to move forward positively.
