I am a retired school teacher now researching and writing a book about the ripple effect of child abuse. I also write on Substack about politics and other stuff.

Respectful of other people's privacy and needs, I enjoy quietude, although I am also very sociable and love shared meals with stimulating conversation, and laughter.

My travels and offshore sailing experiences equipped me to get along with people from all walks of life, and learn to respect another's needs within a small space for months on end.

Born in Australia, I have lived in Singapore, North America, France, New Zealand, and sailed in the Caribbean, and from New Zealand to Tonga, and Fiji and return.

I love to go on long walks in nature, enjoy meeting new people, and often have long and interesting discussions with complete strangers I meet when I am out and about.

Now I am looking for a quiet and peaceful place where I can complete my writing projects.

Perhaps importantly for you, I am clean, neat, and highly responsible, and like to live in a calm and clean environment.
