There is a direct high frequency 950 bus service to the FRINGE festival events around Elizabeth Quay. Work is to be found in the businesses along Beaufort street that run into Northbridge and into the city. The high frequency 950 bus takes about 5 minutes to get into the central business district and comes so often that a time table is not needed to know when the next bus is due. There is a ladies bicycle available for use for free with the rental. There is space to keep your own bicycle around the back of the property and under cover. A bicycle is good to use to ride to the city with. The 950 bus goes from the city to UWA and then to the QE11 Medical Centre. There is a train line at the bottom of Park Road. Mount Lawley station is 1km away. The train goes to the city and onto Leederville. Our home is close to Mount Lawley Tafe which is about 1km away. A number of colleges and schools in Highgate, East Perth and Northbridge. Close to Edith Cowan University and WAAPA which is about 30 minutes walk away. The bus is "2 sections" away from the CBD. This is less than "one zone" and cost 90c for a student. Less with a multirider. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, dining table and chairs , draws, TV/DVD player and garment rack , mirror and good lighting for studying. Each bedroom has a reverse cycle heater and air conditioner. Linen, sheets, blankets, pillows and towels included for use. The cost of the rental is all inclusive. There are no extra hidden bills. Hair and make up is done in our own rooms and this keeps the bathroom pressure free in the mornings. Please keep personal items in your own room and bring these to the bathroom. This keeps the bathrooms from having too much in them. For those employed in health care there are three hospitals near by. The Park at the top of our road. Saint John of God Mount Lawley and Royal Perth Hospital via the train service. A fourth hospital and 5th hospital is accessible via a direct bus service to the QE11 Medical Site via the 950 bus service. The home has been with the same family for a long time. The ladies that stay may come for as long as they need to. There are no end of lease problems to deal with. No rent inspection problems. The home is kept very clean by the ladies that live here. Power is included in the bills however there are some rules. The reverse cycle air conditioning unit must be switched off for some time every day. So the motor can cool down. The unit must be set to 24 C. It can heat at 24 C or cool at 24 C. Please turn off the appliances in your bedroom when not using them. Smoking is outside only. With the doors closed so as to not let in the smoke into the house. Pets are considered but please no dogs or cats as someone that comes to stay may be allergic to them or object on religious grounds ( Muslims). All ladies welcome. One of them has his own granny flat with separate entry, so you hardly hear or see him. We're all really easy going. I'm trying to keep it as comfortable as possible and not become overcrowded.
