Hey! Canadian female here. I've been in Australia (Freo area) for five and a half years now. I'm looking for a new place to live, as I would like to move closer to work to avoid the longer commute. I'm a manager at pub/hotel in Vic Park and I work a mix of days and nights, but mostly nights. Would be nice to live with people with the same sort of rosters. I am quiet when coming home from a late night shift (latest is 12/1 am.) But it does take a couple hours to wind down from the day, and I usually come home hungry (not cooking big feasts at this time don't worry). Before I thought I was leaving, I had the perfect place and housemate. She worked a mix of day and night shifts (12 hour shifts), i worked at a live music venue until late, and at another pub during the days. Our rooms were on opposite sides of the house. And use of the kitchen at any hour couldnt be heard from the rooms. Ideally looking for another unicorn place like this. Hahaha. At least a place where the rooms aren't next to each other and minimal noise at weird hours is acceptable. Prefer to live with only one person, maximum two people. Looking for a place with good vibes and a relaxed atmosphere. Perfectly capable of cleaning up after myself and helping out with household chores. I have a car, so parking is a must. As well as laundry. Love to have a good chat / laugh, but also enjoy my down time as my job is extremely social. Always respectful of other housemates. Move in date is flexible. Im currently on a bridging visa, but working toward applying for sponsorship. So whether it's a place for a few months, or long term if everything works out for the visa. My move in date is flexible as Im currently staying with a friend, but our rosters are a horrible match for each other since it's an apartment where the smallest noise is heard everywhere and it's far from my work.
