The house is a large classic terrace with four bedrooms and two bathrooms with a patio behind the house. The room is a large double room on the ground floor which currently comfortably accommodates a queen bed, sofa, desk and wardrobe. The room is unfurnished but I will be leaving two wardrobes (one in the hall) and a large chest of drawers so there is ample storage. There is one bathroom (with internal laundry and dryer) on the ground floor which is generally only used by the person in the ground floor room, so whilst not an en-suite there is a semi private bathroom. The house has a large furnished lounge and kitchen, which includes all white goods.
The street is absolutely charming, very quiet with plants everywhere. The furnished house is really cosy with a very green and tidy backyard. My two cats are very friendly and I am keeping really busy (late nite bartending), so the house will very much feel like its all “yours” most of the time. The neighbourhood is very friendly also. The house is only 5 min walk from Taylor square and 3 min walk from Woollies on Bourke street. The last quarter electricity bill was only $300 (split by 2) and internet is $70/month (split by 2 also). If you like to come home to a peaceful nest, but stay close to the city life, this is the place for you. Smokers are welcome, but there is no smoking in the house, only in the backyard. Cold tobacco smell is just horrible (Im a smoker myself) Due to late working hours, viewing is best during the day...
