The house is located in a very quiet area with a deck overlooking the large backyard. Easy access to public transport. Eastwood station is an easy 15 minute walk away and the 545 Bus (Parramatta to Chatswood via Macquarie Uni/Centre) leaves from the end of the street (5 minute walk). The room is private and the bathroom is only shared with 2 other housemates who are very respectful. There is a large well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave and 2 fridges plus plenty of utensils. We also have a washing machine and dryer. Wifi is available.

Hi! I'll shortly have a bedroom free in this largish double story three bedroom two bathroom apartment which is right in the heart of the Arts Precinct and just a stone's throw from the Melbourne CBD. The place is in a low-rise complex and has great northerly views over the city from the living area and balcony. It looks out over a large communal courtyard with a tennis court, gym, outdoor pool and spa. The South Melbourne shops and market are also just a short stroll away and the number 1 tram passes by the front door. The room comfortably fits a queen size bed and has a built in wardrobe (and window!). The rest of the apartment is fully furnished (save for a new couch, which is on the way) and there's a spare queen size bed and mattress on offer if you don't have your own bed. The bedroom is on the first floor and shares a bathroom with the main living area (the other bedroom is upstairs). The apartment is rather large so even when there are a few people around you can still get away and feel like you've got your own space. The parking situation is not too bad for the location - there's one on-street permit available but you can always lease a free space in the building or somewhere nearby relatively cheaply.

I like nice things so take pride in the apartment and how it is kept. Everything in the apartment is of good quality and homely. I am by no means an OCD person, just try to keep it tidy and nice. On a Saturday night there will sure to be a million outfits thrown onto the bed! Looking for someone of similar age who likes a wine or two but not too crazy in the week.
